Union Minister of State Dr L Murugan interacts with young entrepreneur in Jammu & Kashmir, says youngsters contributing to New India

Union Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Dr L Murugan reached Srinagar today as part of Public Outreach Programme for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Minister of State visited Shopian in Jammu & Kashmir, where he interacted with public and distributed work orders to the beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojna (PMMSY).

He also Inaugurated Re-Circulatory Aquaculture System (RAS) facility at Awantipora developed by young entrepreneur Ms Hina Parray under PMMSY.

“This is how Young India is contributing to New India. Young entrepreneur Ms Hina Parray is an inspiration to the youth of Jammu & Kashmir on the path of development,” he said.

The Minister of State, who interacted with Ms Parray, added that she was inspiring people to join the stream of development under various schemes of Government of India for Atmanirbhar Bharat.
