CM Stalin’s son and DMK MLA Udhayanidhi parties in Hyderabad while TN sinks in water

Triplicane-Chepauk constituency MLA and DMK Youth Wing Secretary, Udhayanidhi Stalin recently celebrated his 44th Birthday on 27th November. All DMK members and politician wished the actor and politician a very happy birthday on their respective twitter pages. Udhayanidhi even tweeted a reply thanking all the politicians who took the effort to wish him, including his father and Chief Minister MK Stalin.

While politicians generally celebrate birthdays with pomp and grandeur, it has been brought to notice that this MLA has partied away in Hyderabad on his birthday. This is problematic because, the people of Chennai are literally drowning as streets are flooded and water has entered the houses of many. On the other hand, an MLA Udhayanidhi, who has to give solutions for these problems is seen partying in Hyderabad, safely and securely, escaping the wrath of the rains in Tamil Nadu.

Rains have been hitting the state for almost a month now, and the predictions for rains continue to pour in for at least two more weeks. However, even as the citizens of  the state are suffering because of the flooding of the streets, not much of relief has been provided to them.

The issue has been brought to the notice of netizens on Twitter by BJP’s Youth Wing President, Vinoj P Selvam. In his tweet, Selvam had written, “Perks of being the Prince of the Dynasty. Celebrating the birthday in style at night clubs in #Hyderabad while people of #chennai batter fury of rains and struggle to survive. Pity the voters of chepauk-triplicane n the @arivalayam cyber coolies who will stand up for this act too,” and also shared a video of the same.  Check out the tweet here:
