Controversial Rutgers Univ prof Audrey Truschke bullies freshman Hindu student of Indian Univ

Rutgers University professor and Islamic genocide apologist Audrey Truschke, recently bullied a freshman Hindu student named Rama Sardar at the Indiana University (IU) to resign from her university’s newspaper.

Truschke, who is a known Hinduphobe who glorified and called Aurangzeb and other Mughal rulers as seculars publicly indulged in Hinduphobia.

Rama, who is majoring in media at Indiana University, last month wrote an article titled to counter  Truschke in which she says “Why did the IU Islamic Studies Program Tweet in Support of a Hinduphobic Professor?” after Indiana University’s Islamic Studies Program’s director tweeted in support of the Hinduphobic professor.

In a tweet thread that has been posted on a page named ‘Hindu on Campus’ that recently took on Oxford University professor Abhijit Sarkar who bullied Rashmi Sawant, aims to create a safe space for Hindu students. The article soon became viral on social media platforms.

“I decided to write an opinion article on this matter and interviewed a Hindu student at IU. I reached out to the director, Robert Crouch, for an interview as well but he did not answer any of my questions. The article was published on March 24. To my surprise, it became the most read article of that week and it also went viral on Twitter,” said Rama.

After the article was published and widely received the Islamic Studies Program started complaining and raised objection about the editorial piece and claimed that few parts of the article drew an unfavorable light on the director Robert Crouch.

So after this objection was raised, Rama agreed to make the necessary edits, but much to her dismay and attack on freedom of speech, the Indiana Daily Student (IDS) management decided to un-publish the entire article citing a flimsy reason that the ‘edits would be too lengthy anyway’ and the article did not meet the journalistic ethics and standards.

The moment the article was taken down, selective free speech advocate Audrey Truschke sent out a tweet in which she said, “Indiana University’s student-run newspaper retracts two columns for inconsistencies with journalistic ethics and standards.” She further added, “Their leadership notes: We regret any harm inflicted as a result of their publication. I appreciate the integrity shown here.”

But to ensure her credentials as a free speech advocate, Truschke posted a follow-up tweet where she said, “Full disclosure I did not request that these article be retracted or altered in any way. I heard about this today, when it happened. “.

Many pointed out Truschke’s long history of going after Hindu students studying abroad like Rashmi Samanth, the ex-president of Oxford University Student Union who resigned after being bullied by the left and the Islamists for being a Hindu.

The Alliance of Progressive Hindus in a tweet said, Today, @/AudreyTruschke bullied a freshman Hindu student at Indiana University but was quick to delete her tweets. Imagine being this insecure that you need to harass a FRESHMAN?!

Disappointed at the harassment meted, Rama said, “My voice has been silenced because a powerful university program took issue with what I had to say, and my management took their side with no explanation,” whilst adding, “I never expected being censored, discriminated against for being Hindu, and speaking my mind. I never expected to be treated the way and the newspaper that I work for to just casually throw my hard work away.”

Puthiya Thamizhagam Dr.Krishnaswamy urges Central Government to promulgate National Medical Emergency

As India faces a national disaster with the second wave of Covid 19, Dr. Krishnasamy, the leader of the Puthiya Tamizhagam party, has written a letter to the President of India, the Vice President of India, the Prime Minister of India, the Minister of Home Affairs, the Minister of Health, Ms. Sonia Gandhi, Senior Leader of the Congress party, and Mr. Rahul Gandhi, Lok Sabha MP, urging them to take immediate action and declare a national medical emergency.

In his letter he credited the central government for successfully controlling deaths during the first phase of the corona in India when people were dying in large numbers in developed countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Italy.

However, he also criticized the Election Commission for holding elections in Bihar and five other states when the pandemic was in its declining phase. He cited political parties bringing thousands of voters from their homes to the streets for campaign rallies as one of the reasons for the increase in corona cases in India.

He emphasized the importance of vaccinating citizens at war footing. He further added, “There is no adequate ambulance facility to take the corona victims to the hospitals and the hospitals do not have adequate bed facilities. Due to the lack of oxygen and shortage of medicine and pills, people are suffering from untold misery in many ways. The dumping of bodies in rivers without even being able to burn the bodies of the dead has caused unprecedented resentment among the Indian people.”

He urged the central government to declare a “National Medical Emergency” to address the above concerns, claiming that the crisis is worse than last year. Finally, he made 12 recommendations to the government on behalf of Tamil Nadu and Indian people in order to make India free of Corona.

Here is the full text of his letter:

I am Dr. K. Krishnasamy, a post graduate Medical Doctor and the leader of the Puthiya Tamizhagam political party in TamilNadu and fighting for equality and equity of poor and marginalized people. I am the first politicians in TamilNadu other than BJP to openly appreciate the various good deeds of your government. Even when there was fierce opposition in TamilNadu for the Citizenship Amendment Act, repeal of Article 370 and the introduction of NEET, I stood firm and supported strongly. From March 2020 when the Central Government announced the full lockdown, I created awareness among the people of TamilNadu about the importance of the government actions.

When millions of people died en masse in developed countries such as the United States, Britain and Italy, your government in India controlled the corona and drastically reduced the death toll during last year. Millions of people were expecting the corona to be completely wiped out by March and April 2021. But the corona which has been steadily rising since February is now reaching the peak all over India. There is a wide spread apprehension that the second wave of Covid may be turned as Third or Fourth wave.

Everyone, including business and industry across India, fully co-operated with the full lockdown restrictions announced in March 2020. But at a time when the pandemic was in declining face, the Election Commission of India conducted the Bihar elections without caring about it at all. It also announced the date for the five state elections on February 26, 2021. As a result, political parties brought thousands of people from home to the streets for their campaign rallies. No one who attended the meeting wore a facemask; does not adhere to social gaps; No disinfectants were used. As a result, nearly 4 lakh people all over India and about 40000 people in TamiNadu daily getting infected. Beds in government and private hospitals are over flooded. Oxygen deficiency exists in most hospitals; Lack of proper medicine and pills and it made impossible to properly bury or cremate the bodies of the dead. It is a matter of great concern that such tragedies have befallen not only in TamilNadu and also the whole of India.

In the National Capital Delhi because of Oxygen shortage, puts 20 people at risk of death in a single day. The same scenario occurred in many state capitals like Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar and TamilNadu etc… Vaccination programmes were launched on January 18 last year for front field staff, followed by those over 60 and over 18 years of age. Initial vaccination hesitancy prevailed among the people is now gradually diminishing and now the people are ready to get vaccinated. But the vaccines are not available in any hospitals when people seek to get vaccinated. Death cries, fear and panic prevails everywhere. All state governments are struggling to cope with the situation.

Last year, our Country stood tall, extending a helping hand to all countries. Today we have to bow our heads in the International arena in anticipation of others for oxygen, ventilators, vaccines and for all other medical appliances. The developed countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy and other western countries uses the vaccines only for their own citizens and do not export it to any other country. With a population of 140 crore, India is struggling to meet even the first dose of vaccine. It is pathetic that even half of the people are not vaccinated. The corona spreads to everyone from cities to villages without any distinction and manifest without earlier symptoms such as fever, headache, or cough. At present, more than 50 percent of people get hospitalized with very few symptoms like fatigue and 50% of lung damage which reflects early situation prevailed in Wuhan, China.

There is no adequate ambulance facility to take the corona victims to the hospitals and the hospitals do not have adequate bed facilities. Hence, they are waiting more hours in the ambulance; the risk of people lying under trees and on hospital porches is increasing. Due to Lack of oxygen and shortage of medicine and pills, people are suffering from untold misery in many ways. More casualties due to oxygen shortages and the dumping of bodies in rivers without even being able to burn the bodies of the dead have caused unprecedented resentment among the Indian people and great dissatisfaction with the government. It is very painful to note that long global goodwill towards India is declining.

Any number of states can be created based on the devolution of power. But government means, it is the central government. At the state level, the state may be ruled by different political parties. But this is not the time to act politically; it is time to act beyond politics. Mere slogans alone cannot unite India It does not mean that they should gather unitedly just because war with other countries. The situation in India now is similar to that of war aggression. This is more than a bio war. Corona alone cannot be conquered by panchayats, municipalities, corporations or any other state government. The Government of India, which encompasses all powers, can only use its full power to protect the people from today’s abnormal situation and to eradicate the corona completely. I know there are various practical challenges to accomplishing that. Many states are ruled by different political parties with different ideologies. Irrespective of political differences, all the states cooperated when there was such a situation during 2020. I urge the Indian government should take a serious view as the situation is worse than last year. Now the Central government should consider the corona the second wave of Covid 19 as a National disaster and to contain the Covid, declare a “National Medical Emergency”.

Only by timely “National Medical Emergency“ declaration, the activities of the Central and State Governments can be brought at one point. Instead of treating the states as a unit (UNIT), consider the districts across India as a unit, which is easily possible to coordinate and know its needs and send medical appliances quickly.

If our neighboring country China could control the pandemic, why can’t we control it? Serious steps should be taken to provide oxygen supply to all hospitals and free vaccinations to all Indian citizens.

I put forth some suggestions for the consideration of our government on behalf of TamilNadu and Indian citizens. At present the calamity due to corona is worst than any external aggression or any internal disturbances.

I hope that your government so far puts the welfare of the people in first. Now will Do and Act with the same motivation and enthusiasm to eradicate Corona from our soil.

1. Considering the corona as a national disaster, the whole of India should be declared a “National Medical Emergency” i.e. a National Medical Emergency Declaration.

2. Medical needs such as ambulances, bed facilities, oxygen, medicines and other appliances should be made available without shortage across the country.

3. Vaccine production should be increased through central and state government agencies and allowing other interested private companies must be encouraged. If necessary, it should be imported also.

4. Universal Vaccination to all Indian citizens should be at free of cost.

5. National, State and District Coordinated Monitoring Committees (WAR ROOMS) should be in place 24*7 hours.

6. Corona prevention treatment should be taken by considering the districts as a unit and not the states as a whole (UNIT) for the whole of India.

7. To ensure the wearing of face shields and the National Vaccination programme to be successful, there must be stringent laws like cancellation of ration cards and the revocation of driver’s License etc…

8. As many states declared lockdown the livelihood of the people got affected hence the families should be supported with Ten Thousand rupees per month. Since many industries and companies were closed, the interest should be waived and EMI payments should not be collected by both the government and private institutions for the next six months from now.

9. As India’s overall economy is in turmoil, curfew should not be the only solution and required restrictions should be imposed in hotspots.

10. Since the nation as a whole facing an extra ordinary situation, the Central government and the State government should conserve their financial resources to look after the immediate requirement of the people and sufferers of Corona to provide food, medicine and other supporting measures. Hence, at least for the time being all the freebies announced by the government s can be stopped and also cosmetics programmes can be postponed for few years.

11. Any nation cannot afford to go without any time limits to deal any matters. We have to put full stop to Corona in a time bound manner. So entire Central government employees, State government employees and the employees of corporate sectors, teachers and students of all Government and private Universities and all colleges must be engaged to visit door to door to create corona awareness mass movement to educate the people about the importance of Wearing of mask, Personal hygiene, Keeping social distance and most importantly vaccination.

12. The National Medical Emergency Declaration should remain in force until, we achieve Corona Free India (CORONA FREE).

CNN sacks long time Pakistani columnist Adeel Raja who applauded Hitler for killing millions of Jews

International news outlet CNN had to sack Pakistani columnist Adeel Raja after he posted tweets justifying Adolf Hitler and killing of the Jewish people.

Raja had been associated with CNN since 2014 and his last byline was in September 2020. However, when his anti-semitic posts became known where this Islamabad-based journalist had tweeted “the world today needs a Hitler.”, CNN had to fire him away.

However, it must be noted that Adeel Raja “Blue-Tick” Twitter account with over 80 thousand followers is still not suspended even after he called for the mass murder of Jews and spewed hate.

Raja’s timeline shows that throughout his association with CNN such hate-filled outbursts was not a one-off tweet and his social media feed is littered with praise for Hitler.

In 2014, Raja used the occasion when Germany reached the FIFA finals and said, “Hitler was a German and he did good with those Jews!” Leaving no doubt about his allegiances, he added a “hail Hitler!” the next day.

CNN said in a statement that Raja had “never been a CNN employee”.

“As a freelancer, his reporting contributed to some newsgathering efforts from Islamabad. However, in light of these abhorrent statements, he will not be working with CNN again in any capacity.”, it said.

Even after CNN axed him, Raja remained defiant. Raja complained that a “single tweet contributed to the Palestine cause and brought it to the limelight with me losing [sic] my job.” He complained that the West supposedly supports freedom of expression and human rights but that he lost his work because of his pro-Hitler tweets.

A few days ago Pakistani actress Veena Malik and former Big-Boss contestant had tweeted support for Hitler and had said “I would have killed all the Jews of the world, but I kept some to show the world why I killed them.” Twitter later had to remove the tweet, however, many people who took screenshots posted it online.

DMK Govt’s move ends up as epic fail, e-registration for travelling within city causes heavy traffic jam

The DMK government on May 17 made it mandatory for those travelling within the city using personal vehicles to register themselves. People who have to travel from one police station limit to another have to carry an e-registration certificate.

This certificate is needed even to travel during the permitted time from 6 AM to 10 PM when people head out to buy essentials. This move had already come under heavy criticism as traders and small vendors find it difficult to cope with such regulations.

However, the piling up of vehicles in the arterial Anna Salai shows the extent of failure of the mandatory e-registration certificate. Policemen manning the arterial road had erected barricades and can be seen checking every vehicle for the e-pass while scores of vehicles pile up behind.

Many have asked the government to review its decision on e-registration saying that it is causing unnecessary chaos and distress.

PLA deploy troops and equipment in Eastern Ladakh violating disengagement agreement

In the winter of 2020, China vacated the area it occupied on the north bank of Pangong Tso in eastern Ladakh as part of the disengagement. However, its troops and equipment continue to remain deployed in the areas as per media reports.

Satellite imagery from open-source intelligence shows that from 11 May Chinese troops are present in Rutog County, located on the Xingiang-Tibet (G219) highway close to the eastern end of Pangong Lake.

Rutog is a strategically important area as it is linked to both Pangong and Spanggur Lakes (south of Pangong Tso, east of Kailash Range) by road, and it serves as a major logistical base for the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

By having control of this area, the PLA can rapidly mobilize troops to deploy in forward positions against India using its road network.

The satellite image, posted on Twitter by open-source intelligence handle @detrasfa_, shows multiple rows of prefabricated living structures, indicative of the presence of a significant number of Chinese troops at the base.

A large motor pool, consisting of different types of vehicles, including those used by support and offensive units, can be seen in the imagery.

Among other things, the satellite image also shows a large number of camouflaged positions, which could be hosting suppliers of weaponry.

Earlier, reports had revealed that China had built structures between Kangxiwar, located on the G219 highway just north of Aksai Chin, and Rutog.

According to a report in India Today, at Kangxiwar and Rutog, the PLA has brought in 10,000 additional temporary troops to support the 10,000 permanent Chinese troops deployed at these locations and has started rotating troops along the LAC. After suffering a reversal in 2020, China has introduced two large field formations by inducting two fresh divisions in April.

By taking such aggressive posturing within the view of the Indian military and intelligence agencies, China is clearly not serious to abide by the disengagement agreement and seems to be just a ploy to recalibrate future action in this area.

The Indian Army is presently maintaining its posture in eastern Ladakh with a concentration of a large number of troops amid the Chinese Virus. Our troops, which had been moved back as part of the disengagement in the Pangong Lake area, remain vigilant in areas on the Indian side to deter Chinese misadventures.

Also, work on new roads and bridges in Ladakh continues unabated despite China’s aggressive maneuvers over the last year. The Border Roads Organisation appears to have improved its performance amid tensions along the LAC as India also builds a strong logistic hub.

On 27 April, Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane visited eastern Ladakh to review operational preparedness.

DMK cadres create ruckus at ration shop, prevent AIADMK MLA from distributing cash relief

DMK members detained an AIADMK MLA who had gone to deliver corona relief funds at the fair price shop near Vaniyambadi, causing a commotion.

Senthilkumar, AIADMK Vaniyambadi MLA, visited the fair price shop near the Thimmampet Primary Agricultural Cooperative society in Vaniyambadi, Tirupattur district, on May 16 to hand over Rs 2,000 as corona relief announced by the Tamil Nadu government.

At that time, there was a heated argument between the two sides when DMK cadres arrived and stopped the AIADMK MLA, claiming that he should not provide relief funds because the new government is that of the DMK. “This is not MK Stalin’s money; it’s the people’s tax money,” an AIADMK cadre on the scene argued.

AIADMK MLA Senthilkumar told DMK cadres,”I have come to attend the event and provide financial assistance as the elected representative of this constituency.” As the DMK cadres continued to argue, AIADMK MLA Senthilkumar stopped the disbursement of relief funds halfway through and walked out. As a result, there was a commotion.

In another incident Jolarpet DMK MLA Devaraj threatened government officials in a fair price shop in Vaniyambadi, saying that only DMK office bearers will provide relief funds because it is the DMK government.

The video of DMK MLA  speaking in a threatening tone to government officials went viral on social media.
