Meet Nilakantan Aka Puram, The Perverted Misogynist, Filtered Bigot, Casteist, India-Hater, Genocide Monger, Currently A Fake News Peddler Trying To Buttress DMK Govt
Nilakantan RS alias Puram (@puram_politics) is a man who had written a book titled South Vs North: India’s Great Divide, which basically argues that south is better than north because north has more nationalism and south has strong sub-nationalist sentiments. It is an ideal book for Dravidianists who often fantasize about balkanization of India with a separate ‘Dravida Nadu’. The man is close to the DMK circles and has been courted and endorsed by former Tamil Nadu Finance Minister and currently IT Minister PTR Palanivel Thiagarajan on various occassions. The DMK leader has also been on Puram’s podcast.

This propaganda author is back as the talking point in social media circles for buttressing the DMK government’s failures in the recent Michaung cyclone by giving reasons such as “500mm rain” in 24 hours.
He wrote on his X handle, “If a densely populated city in the Global South receives 500 mm of rain in 24 hours, like Madras did, it’s going to flood. That’s not in question. The question is: should we send so much of our tax money to Uttar Pradesh when our own lives are in such peril?”

He was immediately called out by netizens for peddling false information.
Hey blatant liar! Show evidence for 500 mm of rain in 24 hours in Chennai! Else apologise publicly and delete the tweet you shameless moron! And your second paragraph is a yawn. Keep cribbing about it. That’s all you can do. https://t.co/7lQoawTucd

This self-styled expert seems to have trouble understanding math and data even with basic concepts like the difference between percentage and percentile.
According to this guy, 99 percentile is similar to 99 percentage.
In 12th standard or subjective exams, where percentages/marks are assigned, it is possible to make even the highest score be only 80%(or lesser) by setting a difficult question paper.
But in standardised tests,99 percentiles etc. cannot be avoided, especially with negative… pic.twitter.com/CoHG0oDsXH

Peddling the divisive agenda of the Dravidianists, Puram is not a new face that disseminates propaganda set by the Dravidianists.
Brahmin Hatred
In 2015, he called for a genocide on caste lines. He wrote, “If everyone picked up a gun and shot the nearest upper caste person, they’d be doing society a favor.” After backlash, he deleted the tweet.

His hatred for Brahmins can be seen from these posts.

He also said that Brahmins were over representing their community in whatever jobs they took, given their 3% population.

His Hatred For India
In 2017, he called for the defeat of India at the hands of China to save it from “ugly jingoism”. He wrote, “Maybe the only thing that can save India from the ugly jingoism that’s on ascendancy is a humiliating military defeat in the hands of China.”

His hatred for the people of north Indians is so much that he calls for their annihilation by bombing them.

His Hate For Indian Army
His comments on the Army go back to 2015. He made derogatory statements about the Indian Army saying they were very good at raping women. He wrote, “Indian Army is very good at raping women and murdering children. Maybe it can export them to Syria. Finally something to export!”

Here are some more “gems” from him on the Indian army.

He does not stop at that. He has been badmouthing illustrious people like General VK Singh. In 2013, he wrote, “General VK Singh worries people for a very good reason: this joker was actually COAS? How bad is the talent in the Indian Army?”

On Hindutva

Calling For Assassination Of PM Modi
While he badmouthed Prime Minister Modi, he also called for his assassination. He wrote, “Will an assassination of Narendra Modi result in communal riots? Let me rephrase: will it result in violence where Hindus kill Muslims?”

He also added, “Guessing who will be the modern day Lord Mountbatten who’ll say “it wasn’t a Muslim, it was a Hindu” if that Modi assassination happens.”

Here are some of his “gems” on assassinations.

Nilu The Misogynist
In his previous avatar as Nilu, he is said to have made several misogynistic comments, easily using words like cunt on women. Here is a thread that talks about his earlier behaviour.

Upon googling “Nilakantan Rajaraman women”, we came across a profile with his name. Although we couldn’t ascertain if this is profile linked to the original Nilue, but the tweets have been presented here for everybody’s attention (including Nilu aka Puram in case someone has created a fake account).

Some of the tweets were as follows:

Some are beyond deranged.

We also came across some blogs written under the name Nilu

There is even a dedicated blog that has called out his scandalous, problematic, misogynist blogs that are laden with perversion.
It’s truly intriguing that Dhanya Rajendran, consistently championing the cause of respecting women and often “voicing out against misogyny” in her discussions and writings, chose to collaborate with Nilakantan for a podcast series on The News Minute.
He has also written for other leftist propaganda outlets like The Wire and Caravan.

In Nilakantan, the DMK seems to have found a sinister partner and a Goebbelian propagandist who not only boasts a perverted mindset but also shamelessly hurls abuse at Brahmins, the Indian Army, and Prime Minister Modi alike.
Similar to the Dravidian ideologue EVR, Nilakantan’s call for the genocide of Brahmins and his conspicuous association with the leftist-liberal ecosystem strategically tick all the boxes necessary to fulfill the requirements the DMK seeks in a face to vehemently push their agenda.

How DMK Spokie Salma Platformed By Leftist Media Ridiculed And Made Insensitive Remarks Amidst SOS Cries During Cyclone Michaung
Cyclone Michaung mercilessly wrecked havoc upon the city of Chennai and its suburbs on 4 December 2023. The release of water from various dams in and around the city is also said to have caused the city and other areas to be submerged, an inundation that persists to this very day.
Amidst the desperate pleas for rescue, food, and drinking water, a disturbing and dismaying twist unfolded. For a faction within society known as Dravidianists, the distress of their fellow citizens transformed into a spectacle — a tragic reality became a heartless game of ridicule.
Here is where it started. DMK spokie Salma made an insensitive post on a distress call on 4 December 2023. She wrote, “Have they licked clean the rice and dal at home? The announcements given by the government that the storm is coming are also for you. Simple people can say this.”
In another comment on her Facebook, Salma wrote “They want milk it seems sir! They’re putting posts asking for food in just half a day (of rains). One can manage for two days if they had bought bread, banana and oats. Providing food is not disaster management.” while justifying her argument saying that the person delivering is also a human right and that electricity Board worker is putting his life at stake.
She even went on to say that human body can bear hunger for 21 days.
“Can’t they eat bread?”, the DMK spokesperson who has been platformed by leftists media like The News Minute, Scroll, etc. said.
Following these several netizens spotted Dravidianists making insensitive comments on many such distress calls. This led to a hashtag trend on social media platform X. A netizen started collating screenshots of such insensitive comments under the hashtag #திமிர்_பேச்சு_திமுக or Arrogant Speech DMK. Here are a few examples of heights of insensitivity demonstrated by the Dravidian stocks.
Everyone is now aware of the workers buried in the Velachery building collapse on Five Furlong Road. Responding to a post on that incident, a D Stock says, “You can’t lift it, you go and put a clamp on your mouth, hahaha haha hahaha ha. No matter what you try, nothing will work“
https://twitter.com/Dharmic_Jana/status/1732664940690112563
When people were worried about not getting milk, here is one shining example of a Dravidian stock who says, “Most people have a fridge at home. Why buy milk every day? Can’t buy in bulk?”
Here is yet another below-the-belt comment made by a D stock to someone asking where the 4000 crores for flood management was utilised. He says, “What happened to the 4000 crores? That is why you are alive. Otherwise to receive the flood relief money, your wife would have been standing in the queue. What happened to the 4000 crores? Tonight you are sleeping with your wife, otherwise, you would have died once again thinking about who she will be sleeping with, after your death.”
Here is a sample from the state deputy secretary, DMK student wing. Tamil Ka. Amutharasan says, “The vitriol and poison spewed by the Brahmins against the DMK government is more than the rain and flood.”
Another compared the Gaja cyclone to the aftereffects of the Michaung cyclone. He says, “When it rains in Chennai and there is damage, the dogs are barking like this. When the Gaja cyclone hit our areas, where were you all?”
Here’s another one who calls people asking for relief “egoistic”.
Another one claimed it was a natural disaster and not a man-made one.
There were people making fun of those who had died in the floods too.
Here is an intellectual asking people who wanted milk, “Breastfeeding is sufficient for children under one year of age. Other solid foods can be given to babies above one year of age. Even if children and adults have basic needs, a neighbor can help them. Government’s focus should be on life-saving services. Door-to-door delivery in a city with a population of 64 lakh is impossible for any government.”
Netizens wondered if the same people would make the same statements had the party in power been anyone other than the DMK.
