In March 2025, in Domjur town of Howrah district (West Bengal), a Muslim youth, Aryan Khan, and his mother, Shweta Khan, lured a Hindu girl with the promise of employment at an event management company. Subsequently, the victim was held against her will for nearly five months, during which she was sexually abused, physically assaulted with an iron rod, forced to cut her own hair, and tortured with a burning cigarette. When she resisted participating in a pornography video, a rod was inserted into her genitals. The victim eventually managed to escape on 6 June 2025 and reach her home safely. The Domjur Police have since registered a case against Aryan Khan and Shweta Khan based on the victim’s complaint.
This incident forms a part of a larger pattern documented in a total of 15 cases from 2016 to 2025, in which Muslim youths lured, held hostage, sexually assaulted, and tortured Hindu girls and women.
#1 Hindu Girl Held Captive and Tortured by Aryan Khan, Howrah (West Bengal)
In March 2025, a Hindu girl was lured by Aryan Khan and his mother, Shweta Khan, with promises of employment in event management in Domjur, Howrah. Instead of a new opportunity, she was held hostage for nearly five months and subjected to unimaginable abuse. Aryan repeatedly sexually assaulted her, beat her with an iron rod, forcibly cut her hair, and burned her with a cigarette. When the victim bravely refused to shoot a pornography video, he further tortured her by inserting a rod into her genitals. The victim eventually escaped and reported the incident to the Domjur Police, resulting in arrest.
#2 Hindu Girl Gang-Raped by Mohsin Khan and Accomplices, Indore (Madhya Pradesh)
On 27 May 2025, a Hindu girl fell victim to a trap set by Mohsin Khan, a shooting coach at the Dream Olympic Shooting Academy in Indore’s Annapurna area. Mohsin held her hostage in a flat for 15 days, where he, his brother Imran Khan, and their friend Faizan Khan repeatedly sexually assaulted her. During the police investigation, numerous pornography videos featuring other victims were recovered from Mohsin’s phone, suggesting a systematic pattern of abuse and blackmail. The victim came forward to the police, which resulted in the arrest of all the suspects.
#3 Muslim Youth Coerces Hindu Girl Into Conversion and Marriage, Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh)
On 24 May 2025, in Ghaziabad’s Indirapuram, a Muslim youth, Akbar Khan, lured a Hindu girl with promises of employment in a beauty parlor and then held her hostage in his shop. During her confinement, the victim was sexually assaulted and forced to convert to Islam and marriage under threat. The accused further endangered the victim’s family, stating, “Marry your daughter to us or else we will harm you.” The victim’s family promptly turned to the police, who successfully secured her release and placed the accused under arrest.
#4 14-Yr-Old Hindu girl Held Hostage, Gang-raped For 2 Months, Burnt With Acid, Force-fed Beef, Moradabad (UP)
In Moradabad’s Bhagatpur police station area, four Muslim boys Salman, Zubair, Rashid and Areef kidnapped a 14-year-old minor Hindu Dalit girl who was going to the market to get her clothes stitched by making her inhale intoxicants and gang-raped her for two months while she was held hostage. They burnt the ॐ symbol on her hand with acid and forcibly fed her cow’s meat when she asked for food.
On the complaint of the victim’s aunt, the Bhagatpur police station recovered the girl on 3 May 2025 and took action against four accused under the POCSO Act and the SC/ST Act and arrested the main accused Salman.
#5 Hindu Tribal Woman Held Captive, Exploited For 12 Years, Cachar (Assam)
In Cachar district, a Muslim youth Munaf Ali kept a tribal Hindu woman captive for 12 years, raped her and forcibly converted her religion. The accused kept the woman captive by tying a long iron chain to one of her legs. During this time, the woman gave birth to five children.
After a video of the incident went viral, with the help of Hindu activists, police and local tribal residents, the woman was rescued, and Munaf Ali was arrested.
#6 Hindu Woman Held Hostage, Raped, Converted & Tortured, Accused Arrested, Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh)
In Ghaziabad’s Khoda police station area, a Muslim youth named Sameer trapped a Hindu girl in his love trap by pretending to be a Hindu and raped her. When the woman became pregnant, the accused took her to Mumbai, where he forcibly got her married in court and held her hostage and tortured her by starving her for food.
The victim somehow got help and called her father and informed him about the incident. After this, Khoda police registered a case against the accused under various sections including kidnapping and arrested him.
#7 Minor Kidnapped By Posing As Hindu, Raped, Held Captive For 2 Months, Kushinagar (Uttar Pradesh)
In Kushinagar, a Muslim youth Mukin alias Rajan lured a 15-year-old Hindu girl into a love trap and kidnapped her. He held her hostage and raped her for two months and tortured her. In this act, the accused’s sister Marjina also beat up the victim several times.
Investigation by CAT Police revealed that the accused and his sister Neha alias Marjina were involved in illegal business and used to trap Hindu girls, exploit them and push them into prostitution.
#8 Hindu Girl Kidnapped, Held Hostage For Several Months, Raped, Forcibly Converted To Islam, Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh)
In Subhash Nagar police station area of Bareilly district, a Muslim youth Salman kidnapped a Hindu girl, held her captive for several months in Haryana and Himachal and raped her. The accused forcibly converted the girl to Islam and changed her name to Maryam.
Subhash Nagar police arrested Salman after several months of search and recovered the girl safely. A case was registered against the accused under sections of kidnapping, rape, POCSO Act and forced conversion and he was sent to jail.
#9 Hindu Girl Abducted, Raped For 2 Days After Visiting Muslim Friend’s House, Shajapur (Madhya Pradesh)
A 19-year-old Hindu girl who had gone to her Muslim friend’s house on Kila Road under Kotwali police station in Shajapur district was held captive and raped for two days by her friend’s husband Tausif and his friend Danish. When the victim’s family members came to rescue her, stones were pelted on them. On the complaint of the victim’s family, Shajapur police registered a case against the victim’s friend, her husband Tausif, Danish and others and arrested them.
#10 Trapped On Facebook, Raped For Days, Forced to Convert, Banda (Uttar Pradesh)
A Muslim youth Afzal of Banda district, pretending to be Ashish, lured a minor Hindu girl into a love trap through Facebook and called her to meet him and held her hostage and raped her for several days. He forced the girl to convert to Islam by taking her to mosques and madrasas and forcing her to convert to Islam.
On the complaint of the girl’s family, a case was filed against the accused Afzal under sections of rape, kidnapping and forced religious conversion and he was arrested and sent to jail.
#11 Muslim Man Held Hindu Teen Hostage, Forcibly Converted, Fatehpur (Uttar Pradesh)
In the Jaffarganj police station area of Fatehpur district, a married Muslim youth Saif Ali lured a 16-year-old Hindu girl to an unknown place. The accused held the girl captive, raped her, forcibly converted her religion, changed her name to Rubina and made her a Muslim by making her read religious books.
On the complaint of the victim’s mother, the Jafarganj police registered a case against the accused under sections of rape, kidnapping, forced religious conversion and POCSO Act and recovered the girl and arrested the accused.
#12 Girl Held Captive For Six Months, Raped, Hardoi (Uttar Pradesh)
In the Sursa police station area of Hardoi district, a Muslim youth Shoaib kidnapped an 18-year-old Hindu girl, took her to Firozabad, held her captive for six months, raped her and forced her to eat beef. The accused also forced the victim to convert to Islam.
Somehow the girl escaped from the clutches of the accused and reached her village. On the complaint of the victim’s father, an FIR was registered against five named persons including Shoaib and five unknown persons.
#13 Nikah Done By Hiding Identity, Kept Captive For Many Years, Raped, Banda (Uttar Pradesh)
In the year 2007, in the Palani police station area of Banda district, a Muslim youth named Gaffar trapped a 14-year-old Hindu girl from Bihar in a love trap by introducing himself as a non-Muslim and took her to Banda and forcibly married her. When she protested after knowing his real identity, he kept the girl hostage for two years and raped her continuously. After the woman gave birth to a daughter, the victim was forced to live with him.
In December 2022, the victim said in her complaint that the accused recently got married for the second time and threw the woman out of the house along with her daughter. On the complaint of the victim, the Palani police have registered a case against the accused.
#14 14-Year-Old Girl Held Hostage, Raped, Forced Into Prostitution (Delhi)
The case is of Delhi’s Karkardooma Court, where the Special POCSO Court has sentenced Shahabuddin Ghazi alias Raju (30) to 12 years of imprisonment for raping a 14-year-old girl by luring her to Delhi on the pretext of giving her a job and keeping her hostage. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 61,000 on the convict.
In 2013, Shahabuddin Ghazi had brought two teenage girls from Kolkata to Delhi, held them hostage and raped one of the girls and also pushed her into prostitution.
#15 Hindu Girl Held Captive, Gang-Raped For 15 Days, Force-fed Beef, Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh)
In Subhashnagar police station area of Bareilly district, two Muslim brothers kidnapped a class 11 Hindu girl student, gave her an injection of drugs and held her hostage in a house and gang-raped her for 15 days. During this time, they also forcibly fed her beef. The accused used to make the girl unconscious by giving her an injection so that she could not make noise.
When the people around got suspicious, the Subhash Nagar police was informed. The police reached the spot and rescued the girl and arrested the accused brothers Babu Hasan and Til Hasan, residents of Karagena.
