“PMK has no connection with the Arakkonam twin murders”: Investigation committee report

The investigation committee led by retired IAS officer Sivakami has confirmed that neither the PMK nor any other party has any involvement in the twin murder case that happened in Arakkonam. This proved the statement of MLA Poovai Jaganmoorthy, who had said that the twin murder case had no casteism angle to it and that the opposition parties were trying to frame the PMK, to be true.

Poovai Jaganmoorthy, an MLA who belongs to the Puratchi Bharatham party from the AIADMK alliance, had initially said in a press meeting that neither the PMK nor any other party was involved in this issue and that it was merely an attempt by the opposition to frame them. He went on to say that the people of Arakkonam were always in support of the AIADMK, and that is why there had been successful campaigns there, as opposed to other constituencies. He added that the people will definitely teach conspirators a lesson.
