DMK MP Yells At Govt Officer And Stops Hindu Prayers At Bhumi Pooja Function

DMK MP from Dharmapuri S. Senthilkumar who had gone to attend a Bhumi Pooja function in his constituency blurted out at government officials and forcefully stopped the traditional Hindu prayers from happening in an attempt to ‘secularize’ the event.

Lake restoration work was to start at the Alapuram lake for which government officials of the concerned department had organized a Bhumi Pooja.

Lok Sabha DMK MP Senthilkumar, who attended the function at that time, objected to the pooja and scolded the officials who had arranged for the puja.

In a video shared on his social media, the DMK MP can be heard lashing out at a Public Works Department officer and asked him where are the Christian priests and Muslim Imams for the function.

“Why are you doing these things in a government function? Don’t you have instructions that these should not be done in government functions?”, he blurts out at the officer.

“Where are the other religions? Where is Christianity? Where is a Muslim? Where are the members of the Dravida Kazhagam? Where are those without religion? Call them. Call the Church father. Call the Imam.”, he yells at the officer.

He also asked if such functions are not held for events in which Chief Minister Stalin was participating why is it being done here.

“Don’t call me to these functions any more”, he yells at the officer.

He also forcefully evicted the Hindu pandit and stopped the prayers from happening. This video has now gone viral on social media.
