DMK Man Who Abused BJP Leader Khushbu And Annamalai’s Mother Dismissed From Party, Arrested

Expelled DMK speaker Sivaji Krishnamurthy’s recent obscene speech has ignited a wave of public outrage, with actress and BJP functionary Khushbu breaking down in tears during a press conference.

Sivaji Krishnamurthy, known for his controversial speeches, had previously faced suspension from the DMK party for threatening to kill Governor R.N. Ravi. However, he recently rejoined the party, only to once again draw attention to his derogatory remarks.
During a meeting to commemorate Karunanidhi’s centenary, Sivaji Krishnamurthy not only disparaged Governor Ravi but also made derogatory comments about Khushbu. The speech quickly went viral on social media, leading to widespread condemnation from people across various spheres of life.

Khushbu, visibly angry and deeply hurt by the disparaging remarks made against her, met with reporters at her home to address the issue. Her emotions were raw as she passionately spoke out against the mistreatment of women, regardless of their field of work. She vowed to take action against those who speak ill of women and emphasized her willingness to stand up against any individual or political party that abuses women.

The public outcry and Khushbu’s powerful response compelled DMK General Secretary Duraimurugan to take swift action. He announced the removal of Sivaji Krishnamurthy from all responsibilities within the party, including the revocation of his basic membership.
The incident occurred amidst the centenary birthday celebrations of artist Karunanidhi, organized by the Chennai North District DMK. Sivaji Krishnamurthy, serving as the Chief Club Speaker, made disparaging comparisons between Khushbu and actor Prabhu. He also directed scathing remarks towards Governor RN Ravi, former AIADMK minister Jayakumar, BJP state president Annamalai, and others, using extremely vulgar language.

Khushbu, who promptly addressed the media when Sivaji Krishnamurthy’s speech went viral, took a firm stance against the derogatory comments. She openly challenged DMK leader Stalin, urging him to take action against those who disrespect her. Khushbu highlighted the hypocrisy of political parties that allow such behavior and emphasized that no one has the right to defame women.
Expressing her determination to seek justice, Khushbu announced her intention to file a complaint against Sivaji Krishnamurthy through the National Commission for Women. She firmly stated that nobody should be allowed to slander women for the sake of applause and emphasized the need for society to respect women and their parents.
DMK General Secretary Duraimurugan cited the violation of party discipline and the damage caused to the party’s reputation as the grounds for taking action against Sivaji Krishnamurthy.
