Sivaganga Congress MP Karti Chidambaram Condemns Brutal Murder Of DMK Sports Wing Deputy Organizer, Three Arrested

Sivaganga Congress MP Karti Chidambaram has strongly condemned the brutal murder of the DMK’s Deputy Organizer for the District Sports Development Wing and urged Tamil Nadu police to take decisive action. He highlighted that such incidents tarnish the reputation of both the police and the government, instilling fear among the public.

The shocking incident unfolded in Sivaganga, where Praveen Kumar, the Deputy Organizer of the DMK district sports development wing, was chased and brutally hacked to death in broad daylight. This has stirred significant unrest in the area, and the police have arrested three individuals in connection with the crime.

Praveen Kumar, a resident of Samiyarpatti in Sivaganga district, was attacked on 27 April 2025 while in his own grove. A group of unidentified assailants hacked him and fled the scene. Locals who witnessed the attack immediately contacted the police, and authorities rushed to the hospital, but Praveen Kumar succumbed to his injuries en route. The body was subsequently seized by the police and sent to Sivaganga Government Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.

This tragic event has shocked the local community, especially considering Praveen Kumar’s position within the ruling DMK party. In response, his relatives and supporters staged a roadblock, demanding the swift arrest of the culprits. Their protest caused significant traffic congestion on the Manamadurai-Sivaganga road, leading to a confrontation with the Sivaganga city police. The protestors only dispersed after police assured them that action would be taken.

The Sivaganga police have opened an investigation into the motive behind the murder. Initially, authorities speculated that it might have been the result of a previous feud, and a special team was formed to pursue the suspects. The investigation took a significant turn when police spotted three individuals carrying swords in the Kanmai area of Samiyarpatti. Upon questioning, it was revealed that the suspects were Karunakaran also known as Vicky (20), Prabhakaran (19), and Guru (21), all from various areas in Sivaganga and Tirupattur.

Investigations revealed that Praveen Kumar and Vicky were from the same village, and that Vicky’s younger brother, Dhanushraja, had been arrested on 17 April 2025 for assaulting a woman. The suspects claimed they murdered Praveen, believing he had instigated the legal case against Dhanushraja. The police have recovered the sword, and the two-wheeler used in the attack, and all three suspects have been arrested and are under further investigation.

Condemning the brutal incident, Sivaganga Congress MP Karti Chidambaram, through his official X account, stated, “The stabbing and murder of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam @arivalayam @DMKSivagangai Sivaganga District Sports Development Wing’s Deputy Organizer Mr. Praveen Kumar by anti-social elements is highly condemnable. Criminal incidents like this instill fear among the public regarding law and order and bring disrepute to both the police and the government. The police department @tnpoliceoffl should take strong action to suppress such anti-social elements.”

Dravidian Model: DMK Youth Wing Allegedly Arranged Grand Feast With Alcohol, Contradicts MK Stalin’s Anti-Addiction Campaign

A recently circulated video depicting a lavish non-vegetarian feast accompanied by alcohol, following a DMK meeting in Tirukovilur, has sparked widespread online debate. The footage, showcasing attendees dining with beer bottles on their tables, has drawn sharp criticism from netizens, who have sarcastically juxtaposed it with Chief Minister MK Stalin’s anti-drug campaign messages.

The event in question was a DMK Youth Wing meeting involving members from the Tirukovilur West, East, and North Union Polling Stations under the Rishivanthiyam Assembly Constituency in Kallakurichi South District. Held at a private venue, the session featured addresses by MLA Vasantham Karthikeyan and Rishivanthiyam Assembly Constituency In-charge Perunarkilli, who briefed the youth wing executives on election strategies and their roles at the polling stations.

Following the meeting, a non-vegetarian feast with alcohol was organized for over 300 attendees, including polling station youth wing organizers, facilitated by three union secretaries. Images from the event, showing individuals posing with beer bottles on dining tables, have gone viral on social media, prompting discussions about the DMK’s stance on alcohol prohibition.

This incident has intensified scrutiny of the Chief Minister, who previously expressed concern over public behavior that could tarnish the party’s image. In a statement, he emphasized the importance of actions that bring honor to the party and cautioned against conduct that could lead to ridicule. The recent event involving DMK youth has added to the challenges faced by the Chief Minister in maintaining the party’s public image.

Opposition members have also raised questions, highlighting contradictions in the DMK’s policies. They point to instances where party leaders, such as Thoothukudi MP and Deputy Leader of the DMK Kanimozhi, have advocated for the closure of liquor shops and criticized alcohol consumption, yet events like the one in Tirukovilur seem to contradict these positions.

Similarly, on October 2024, Chief Minister MK Stalin launched a renewed anti-drug campaign, appealing to the youth and student community to avoid addiction. He urged them not to harm their bodies with substances known to be detrimental, emphasizing the government’s commitment to eradicating drugs and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, in a video message appealed, “To the youth and student community of Tamil Nadu, as a father and a member of your family, I appeal and beg to you all not to take the path of addiction. Why spoil the body that you have nurtured with care? Why buy something knowing it is harmful? Why seek harm for yourself? No one in the future youth community should fall into the habit of drugs. This is my greatest concern.”

Pahalgam Massacre Fallout: 7 Times How Islamist Mobs Tried To Silence Anti-Pakistan Protests

On 22 April 2025, terrorists linked to Pakistan brutally murdered 28 tourists, majorly Hindu, in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, after identifying them by their religion. The massacre triggered widespread protests across India against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. However, multiple incidents have since emerged where Islamist mobs violently opposed these demonstrations. This report documents seven major cases of attacks and threats by Islamist rioters between 25 April and 26 April 2025.

#1 Kidnapping And Rape Threats For Speaking Out Against Terrorism – North 24 Parganas, West Bengal

On 25 April 2025 Priyanka Dutta, a Hindu woman from Ashok Nagar-Kalyangarh, faced rape and abduction threats from several Islamist rioters, including an individual named MJ Maroof, after she criticized the Pahalgam terror attack on social media. According to Dutta, police officers — including 7–8 constables and two officers-in-charge — arrived at her home and pressured her to delete the video. She eventually removed her post under duress.

#2 Attack On Rally Over Anti-Pakistan Posters – Jaipur, Rajasthan

On 25 April 2025, in Jaipur, Hindu groups organized a protest rally against the Pakistan-sponsored Pahalgam killings. As the rally approached Jama Masjid near Badi Chaupad, it was violently attacked by an Islamist mob.

The attackers claimed they were enraged by anti-Pakistan posters placed outside the mosque premises.

#3 Islamist Women Threaten Violence Over Pakistani Flag on Road – Kalaburagi, Karnataka

On 25 April 2025, during a protest organized by Bajrang Dal in Kalaburagi, workers laid Pakistani flags on the road to express anger against the Pahalgam terror attack. Two Islamist women wearing burqas confronted the protestors, removed the flags, and warned that any further display of the Pakistani flag on the road would lead to violence.

#4 Death Threats After Pakistani Flags Displayed in Protest – Sundergarh, Odisha

On 25 April 2025, in Sundergarh, Hindu organizations placed Pakistani flags on the road to protest the Pakistan-backed massacre of Hindus in Pahalgam. Members of the Islamist community objected, gathered in large numbers, and issued death threats to the organizers for allegedly disrespecting the Pakistani flag.

#5 Pakistani Flag Defended asPart of Islam,Protest Disrupted – Nala Sopara, Maharashtra

On 26 April 2025, in Nala Sopara, Maharashtra, a protest was held where Pakistani flags were laid on the road to condemn the terrorist killings in Pahalgam. A group of Islamist youths, led by Mohammad Usman, disrupted the protest, claiming that the Pakistani flag is apart of Islamand must not be disrespected. The group openly expressed support for Pakistan and demanded that the Pakistani flag should not be placed on the road in the area.

#6 Police Stop Burning of Pakistani Flag in Muslim-Dominated Area – West Bengal

On 26 April 2025, Hindu youths pasted Pakistani flag stickers on the road to protest the Pahalgam massacre.

When they attempted to burn the flags in a Muslim-dominated area, members of the Muslim community objected strongly.

Police intervened, stopped the burning, and claimed that the area wassensitive, effectively preventing any protest action involving the Pakistani flag.

#7 Hindu Youths Attacked With Weapons for Burning Pakistani, Palestinian Flags – Mumbai, Maharashtra

On 26 April 2025, in the Santacruz East station area of Mumbai, Hindu organizations pasted Pakistani and Palestinian flags on the road to protest the Pahalgam killings. Protesters highlighted that Hamas, a Palestinian terrorist organization, had earlier aligned with Pakistan to promote terrorism in Kashmir. Despite these clarifications, Islamist mobs violently attacked the protesting Hindu youths with sharp weapons, angered by the placement and burning of the flags.

“India Targeting Pakistani Patients And Farmers”: Singaporean Dravidian Propagandist And Self-Styled Stock Market Analyst PR Sundar Pushes Pro-Pakistan Rhetoric Post-Pahalgam Attack, Whitewashes Terrorist Actions

It seems that it’s not just Dravidianists who speak out against India and receive support from within the state and the nation; the anti-Indian agenda seems to find backing across the country. P. R. Sundar, an Indian-born Tamil Dravidianist and Singapore citizen, who works as a stockbroker, appears to have a problem with India’s actions against terrorism, especially in the wake of the horrific 22 April Pahalgam terror attacks. Sundar aligns himself with leftist narratives in the country, pushing the “terror has no religion” rhetoric, and shamelessly implicates both the Indian Army and the Central Government for the attack.

Right at the beginning of his video, Sundar’s first agenda is to suggest that the Indian army might have colluded with the terrorists. He uses a poem to indirectly make this point, saying, “A country that waged war with an enemy country has been defeated. A soldier from that defeated country recites this poem. What does he say? He says, ‘Our country’s fort has walls that are 25 to 30 feet high; only a bird can enter and no other can.” He continued, “The guards around the fort, stands so close that only the wind can pass between them. This is the beauty of the poem. After describing all these one by one, he says despite all the security, why did we lose? Because there was a tunnel that led directly to the king’s room. The soldier guarding the fort took a bribe and allowed the enemy soldiers through the tunnel, who then went straight to the king’s room and killed him.”

By quoting this story, Sundar appears to be implicating the Indian Army, as well as attacking the government and suggesting that India is so corrupt it cannot effectively confront any external threat. It’s a logic-lacking argument against terrorism. Is he implying that the focus should only be on internal matters, neglecting the fight against terrorism altogether was a brooder question?

Sundar then proceeds to ridicule and undermine India’s military capabilities by quoting reports, stating that between 1951 and 2021, nearly 2,400 military aircraft have crashed — not during war, but during peacetime operations and routine training. He mocks the reliability of Indian military equipment by emphasizing that even without facing the enemy, hundreds of aircraft — including a significant number of fighter jets — have been lost. He adds, “Each fighter jet costs between ₹2,000 to ₹3,000 crore. When I spoke with a foreign friend, he remarked sarcastically, ‘The fighter jets in your country are not aircrafts. Those are just flying coffins.’” Sundar goes further, invoking the “coffin scam” and past honey-trap cases involving Indian officials, as a way to brand the entire system corrupt and untrustworthy. He uses this narrative to lecture India on corruption, completely diverting attention from the very real and pressing issue of terrorism.

This line of argument mirrors the tactics used by other known Dravidianist voices like self-styled journalist Senthilvel, who similarly attempted to deflect from condemning the brutal Islamic terrorist attack — an attack that dealt a heavy blow to Kashmir’s budding tourism economy and pushed many locals back toward poverty.

Sundar then reinforces the Congress-Dravidianist line by pushing the worn-out narrative that “terror has no religion,” even in the face of overwhelming evidence from the Pahalgam terror attack. Victims of the attack reported that the terrorists explicitly targeted tourists based on religion — asking some to recite Islamic verses and even checking for circumcision by forcing men to remove their pants. The attackers were not just indiscriminately violent; they were methodically selecting victims based on faith.

Yet, despite these horrifying details, Sundar and others pushing this narrative expect the nation to remain silent or suppress the truth in order to maintain political correctness. What they fail to acknowledge is that not a single Indian voice blamed Indian Muslims. In fact, many Kashmiri Muslims risked their own safety to help survivors — and they were embraced as fellow citizens, not as a separate community. However, agenda-driven figures like Sundar continue to advance divisive rhetoric, playing directly into the hands of the terrorists’ objective to stoke a Hindu-Muslim divide and weaken India from within.

Sundar then shifted focus to lecture India on how to eradicate poverty in Kashmir, asserting that youth radicalization stems from economic deprivation. But what he fails to grasp, comfortably seated in Singapore and clearly out of touch with current ground realities, is that Kashmir’s situation has evolved significantly — and radicalization isn’t merely an outcome of poverty, but of deeply rooted ideological indoctrination.

He went on to criticize India’s diplomatic steps, such as suspending trade with Pakistan and leveraging the Indus Water Treaty, questioning what tangible benefits these actions bring. He argued that such moves unjustly punish Pakistani citizens for the actions of terrorists. Contrastingly, only the people of Pakistan can bring about regime change, and India should rely on public pressure within Pakistan to demand that their government stop sheltering terrorists.

Daily at the Wagah border they would conduct something (beating retreat ceremony) that has been stopped. That has been stopped many times, now you’re stopping it again. It will again be started a few days later. Sending back diplomats, Pakistanis in India. Instead of punishing the terrorists, whom are we punishing? We’re telling people who came from Pakistan for medical help to go back in 24-48 hours. What did that patient do? Did that patient support that terrorist? Okay, you’ve stopped the Indus River. It’s going to affect their agriculture. The farmers there will live in poverty. So, targeting patients and farmers is your counter attack? He’s killed a tourist and he’s not in the right mind. What’s the difference between them and us? We’re also targeting unarmed patients and farmers. Are we targeting Pakistani Army? What have they done by targeting the Pakistani Army?“, he says in the video.

Ironically, just moments earlier, he had praised American citizens for standing up against U.S. foreign policy during the Vietnam War, specifically citing the iconic image of the “napalm girl” as a turning point in public opinion. He commended American citizens for opposing their government. Yet, in the same breath, he criticizes India for trying to pressure Pakistani citizens into demanding accountability from their own regime. This blatant contradiction exposes his hypocrisy applauding civic activism in one context while condemning it in another, solely because it doesn’t fit his anti-India narrative.

Finally, Sundar attempts to wrap up his video with a hollow disclaimer, saying, “I have not come to speak against any party. I am speaking as someone born and raised in this country. By race, I am Indian, so I have a special interest in India. I speak only for the public, with no political affiliation or hidden agenda.” But his own words betray that claim. Throughout the video, he consciously promotes narratives that attack the Indian government’s anti-terror measures, while deliberately avoiding any direct condemnation of Islamic terrorism — making his supposed neutrality ring hollow.

HR&CE Administered Tiruvannamalai Arunachaleswarar Temple Officials Accused Of Illegally Splitting ₹3.68 Crore Tender To Bypass Mandatory GO

tiruvannamalai arunachaleswarar temple

The administration of the Sri Arunachaleswarar Temple at Tiruvannamalai is under fire again after serious allegations surfaced regarding irregularities in a ₹3.68 crore tender process for building temporary ‘Q-line’ sheds for devotees.

According to tender documents issued by the temple authorities on 9 April 2025 (Tender Notice No.10/2024-2025), two separate tenders were floated — one for ₹1.74 crore and another for ₹1.94 crore — for the same nature of work: construction of temporary sheds between Pei Gopuram and Ammaniamman Gopuram.

The splitting of a single job into two contracts raises major legal concerns. Under the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Act, 1959, civil works above ₹2 crore require prior approval through a Government Order (GO) issued by the Tamil Nadu government. Works below ₹2 crore can be cleared by the HR&CE Commissioner alone. By dividing the project into two tenders, temple officials appear to have sidestepped the mandatory government approval process.

This action also contravenes clear directives from the Hon’ble Madras High Court, which has explicitly prohibited splitting of a single project into multiple tenders to evade statutory oversight.

It is noteworthy that the Executive Officer currently managing the temple is functioning without a valid appointment order, raising questions about the legality of the decisions taken under his authority, as alleged by temple activists. As per government procedure, valid appointment notifications are mandatory for officials in charge of major temples.

The tender documents further show that the construction is for temporary structures, despite the project’s high value, intensifying concerns about financial propriety and administrative priorities at one of Tamil Nadu’s most sacred heritage sites.

Meanwhile, devotees and heritage conservationists have pointed out that no modern constructions should interfere with or alter the sanctity and heritage fabric of ancient temples like Sri Arunachaleswarar Temple, a site of enormous religious and cultural significance.

Terror Apologist? YouTuber Dhruv Rathee’s Pahalgam Video Mirrors Congress & Pakistan’s Propaganda Playbook

After the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April 2025 which left 26 innocent people dead in Anantnag, Jammu & Kashmir, pro-Congress and pro-AAP propagandist YouTuber Dhruv Rathee, took nearly a week to respond. When he finally did, it was not to strongly condemn the terrorists but rather to pivot the conversation toward blaming the sitting BJP government, weaving in emotional and religious narratives to shift focus away from the brutality of the attack itself.

In his video, Rathee begins by introducing The Resistance Front (TRF) — a Pakistan-backed offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba, the group behind the attack. While stating that 26 males were killed, he emphasizes the religious identities of the victims: “One was a Muslim, one a Christian, and the remaining were Hindus.” He goes on to quote victims’ accounts, highlighting instances where attackers allegedly identified people based on their religion before opening fire. In one case, a woman recalled a terrorist accusing her husband of “not looking Muslim” before shooting him. In another, a woman described how her father was asked to recite Islamic verses and was killed when he couldn’t.

Despite these horrifying testimonies clearly pointing to a religiously motivated terror attack, Rathee’s video largely focuses on painting it as a failure of the intelligence and security apparatus under the BJP-led central government.

Agenda 1: Pushing Government Failure Narrative

In the first part of his video, Dhruv Rathee appears more concerned with proving alleged government incompetence than calling out the terrorists. He speculates that intelligence failures were to blame and aligns with the narrative quickly picked up by Congress sympathizers post-attack.

He references a report from The Hindu which suggests that two of the terrorists may have been Indian nationals — Adil Guri from Anantnag and Ahsan from Pulwama — who were radicalized in Pakistan after crossing the border in 2018. It is alleged that intelligence agencies had some awareness of their infiltration and possible activity in the region. The Times of India also reported inputs of terrorists scouting hotels in the area as early as the first week of April.

Despite this, Rathee insists the blame lies entirely with the central government, comparing this case to the 2019 Pulwama attack. He deliberately peddled Pulwama attack as a past intelligence failure, citing inputs that were either ignored or not acted upon, and uses this history to reinforce his argument that the government is either negligent or complicit in such lapses.

Rathee argues that since the central government controls the armed forces, the Border Security Force, and the nation’s borders, it must take full responsibility for the infiltration and resulting attacks. He demands accountability from the Prime Minister, suggesting that the public deserves answers about how heavily armed foreign terrorists continue to slip through our borders and execute mass killings.

Agenda 2: Blaming Media & Shifting Focus To Alleged Army Recruitment Issues

In the second part of his video, Dhruv Rathee turns his attention to the media, specifically criticizing certain news channels that have been actively reporting on the Pahalgam terror attack. He singles out Republic TV’s Editor-in-Chief, Arnab Goswami, accusing him of deflecting blame by targeting the Supreme Court. Rathee quotes Goswami’s comments, where he questions whether the judiciary should have even reviewed the Article 370 abrogation, suggesting that such discussions distract from pressing security concerns. Rathee even peddled a leaked WhatsApp chats showing allegedly Goswami celebrating being the first to cover the incident.

He said, “Look at a person like Arnab Goswami. Arnab Goswami is holding the Supreme Court responsible for the Pahalgam attack. ‘There was no need in my view for the Supreme Court to waste time into whether the abrogation of A370 was valid or not. It was a waste of time because with the greatest of respect to the judges, they will not take responsibility for the security situation.’ This is the same guy whose WhatsApp chat leaked showing that after the Pulwama attack, he had written a WhatsApp message saying that ‘This attack we have won like crazy. He was celebrating being the first to cover the Pulwama attack’.

Rathee then shifts the conversation to India’s military personnel shortages, citing official data from the Defence Ministry. He notes that the Army currently has over 100,000 vacancies, including a shortfall of around 8,400 officers and 92,000 soldiers. He suggests that these gaps in manpower may be partly responsible for the delayed response or lack of presence during such attacks.

Contradicting his own stance, Rathee points to a Telegraph report from August 2022 stating that no new army recruitment occurred during the COVID-19 years, and claims that the government is now planning to cut troop numbers by another 200,000 over three years — allegedly to reduce salary and pension costs.

Agenda 3: “Terror Has No Religion” – Shaping The Post-Attack Narrative

In the final part of his video, Dhruv Rathee pivots to one of the most politically charged narratives often promoted by pro-Congress sympathizers — the idea that “terror has no religion.” This line, repeated after every terror attack, is widely seen by critics as an attempt to deflect focus from the religious motivations behind such violence, particularly when the victims belong predominantly to one community.

Following the Pahalgam terror attack, in which most of the 26 victims were Hindus and reports suggest that they were explicitly targeted based on religion, Rathee steers the conversation toward communal harmony — a message that in itself isn’t controversial — but in doing so, critics argue that he obscures the religious motivations of the terrorists and shifts the blame toward those who are merely calling out the ideology behind the attack.

Rathee deliberately highlighted Muslim condemnation while ignoring that no one was blaming Indian Muslims. Rathee carefully compiles statements from Muslim leaders and organizations who condemned the attack. He references, “Jammu and Kashmir’s Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that the ones responsible for this attack are animals and inhuman, worthy of contempt. No word is enough to condemn them properly. He expressed his condolences for the families of the victims. Kashmiris observed a shutdown as a sign of mourning. Some marched as a mark of unity. And some took out candlelight marches for the victims. Outside Kashmir, prominent Muslim organisations like Jamat-Ulama-e-Hind, condemned the terror attack. All India Imam Organisation’s head, Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi said that during Friday prayers, a strong anti-terror message will be given from 550,000 mosques. Prayers will be made for the victims. Many Muslim countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, and Qatar have also condemned the attack. Indian Muslims have expressed their opposition to terrorism through social media posts. People shouuldn’t fight among themselves on religious lines. That way we can defeat the intentions of the terrorists. Because that’s what terrorists want. To spread religious hatred in India, making people fight each other, and eventually break apart our country.”

These reactions are indeed notable. But Rathee then implies that critics of the attack were at risk of stoking communal tensions, even though no major nationalist voice had blamed Indian Muslims for the tragedy. His critics argue that instead of amplifying the brutality of the terror attack and the ideology behind it, he chose to warn against “division” — ironically, when no division had been called for. In doing so, they say, he ends up shielding the very religious extremism that caused the attack in the first place.

Rathee then targets the BJP directly, challenging party leaders to post statements supporting “Indian Unity.” He accuses them of staying silent on unity, while allegedly using the attack to promote communal narratives. He highlights a social media post from BJP Chhattisgarh, which featured an animated image with the line, “They asked for the religion, not the caste. We’ll remember.”

While critics saw this as a factual reminder of what the terrorists allegedly did — asking victims to prove their faith before killing — Rathee and others dismissed it as an opportunistic and divisive political move. He cited journalist Preeti Choudhary, who sarcastically remarked that “it’s never too soon to politicize tragedy.”

Rathee goes further, accusing the BJP of deliberately stoking caste and communal divides, rather than solving them. He asks why the party doesn’t acknowledge systemic caste discrimination — referencing incidents where Dalit grooms were assaulted for riding horses in wedding processions. His claim is that the party weaponizes religion to spread fear among Hindus, not of foreign terrorists, but of Indian Muslims — their neighbors, colleagues, and fellow citizens.

Rathee’s attempt to downplay the religious aspect of terrorism and instead focus on creating political divisions misses the point entirely. The Pahalgam attack was religiously motivated, and we cannot ignore the ideology that fuels such violence.

‘Journalism’ Or Jihad Apologia? Ravish Kumar Prioritizes Pakistan’s Water Over India’s Slain Tourists

In a shocking display of misplaced priorities, alleged journalist Ravish Kumar has once again exposed his true loyalties—not to India, but to those who seek its destabilization. His recent monologue on the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty (IWT) is a masterclass in anti-India rhetoric, where he spends more time defending Pakistan’s water rights than questioning why terrorists massacred Hindu pilgrims in Pahalgam.

Mocking India’s Sovereignty: “Can Modi Stop the Rivers?”

Kumar begins his tirade by ridiculing India’s capability to control its own rivers, sarcastically asking, “Will rivers know that in 2025, such ministers will come who will challenge their flow?”

His tone drips with disdain for BJP leaders like Nishikant Dubey and CR Patil, who have vowed to stop water flow to Pakistan. He further says, “So can you stop the water of six rivers? Who will decide this, nature or Modi’s ministers? It seems that the BJP has got a new weapon, water. They will not give water and will kill the thirsty. These types of talks will enthuse people. They will feel that the uncles of the housing society will leave their bathing and sit in front of the TV to see all this happening. Looking at the thumbnails of the ‘Godi-media YouTube channels, it seems that the people of this country may have seen rivers since eternity, have heard and read about them, but it seems that the editors, journalists, and anchors of this country have neither heard nor read about rivers, nor have seen rivers.”

Instead of applauding India’s strategic move to pressure Pakistan after repeated terror attacks, Kumar mocks the idea, calling it impractical and even dangerous.

Whitewashing Nehru’s Blunders, Ignoring Pakistan’s Terror

Kumar conveniently glosses over Nehru’s catastrophic 1960 Indus Treaty, which gifted 70-80% of river waters to Pakistan despite India being the upper riparian state. Yet, when BJP leaders demand renegotiation, he portrays them as jingoistic fools.

Worse, he completely sidesteps the Pahalgam terror attack, where jihadists targeted Hindu pilgrims. Instead of demanding accountability from Pakistan, he diverts attention to the technicalities of dam construction, asking, “What about the security lapses in Pahalgam?”

But where was his outrage when Congress governments allowed terror to flourish in Kashmir for decades?

Echoing Pakistani Propaganda: “India Can’t Stop Water”

Kumar parrots Pakistan’s narrative, insisting that stopping water is “impossible” and would “flood India.” He cites “experts” (without naming them) who claim, “Storing water would submerge Kashmir under 7 meters!”

Yet, he ignores that India has already built projects like the Ratle and Kishanganga dams, legally permitted under the IWT. If Pakistan can violate the treaty by blocking India’s hydropower projects, why shouldn’t India retaliate?

Deflecting Blame: “Modi Didn’t Hold A Press Conference!”

In a bizarre pivot, Kumar shifts focus from Pakistan-sponsored terror to Modi’s “lack of press conferences.” He whines:

“Why didn’t Modi go to Pahalgam? Why is he laughing in Bihar?”

But where was his outrage when:

  • Manmohan Singh remained silent after 26/11.
  • Congress leaders like Digvijay Singh called the Batla House encounter “fake”?
  • Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders peddled “Hindu terror” lies to US diplomats.

The Final Betrayal: Equating RSS Supporters with Pakistani Terrorists

Kumar’s most disgusting remark comes when he equates Indian nationalists with jihadists, “Pakistan wanted to divide Hindus and Muslims—RSS is doing the same!”

This is a classic false equivalence and intent to deflect the blame onto the RSS needlessly, to promote the failed project of his masters – “Saffron Terror”

Whose Side Is Ravish Kumar On?

Ravish Kumar’s rant reveals a disturbing pattern:

  • Defends Pakistan’s water rights while mocking India’s sovereignty.
  • Whitewashes Congress’s failures but hyper-criticizes BJP’s strong stance.
  • Ignores jihadist terror, instead blaming Indian nationalists.

One must ask: Why is he more outraged about Pakistan’s water supply than India’s murdered tourists?

The answer is clear—his loyalties lie with those who oppose a strong India. True journalists demand accountability from terrorist states, not their own government. Until Ravish Kumar understands this, he remains nothing more than a mouthpiece for anti-India propaganda.

If Ravish Kumar spent even half his energy condemning Pakistan’s terror as he does mocking India’s countermeasures, perhaps he’d be taken seriously. But as expected, his bias is as transparent as his desperation to please his ideological masters.

How DMK Supporting Dravidianists Are Targetting A Tamil YouTuber For Speaking Truth About Pahalgam Terror Attack While Trying To Whitewash Terrorists

One of the most disturbing and shameless narratives currently circulating among certain Dravidianist sympathizers in Tamil Nadu — a group often criticized for openly supporting extremist organizations like Hamas or Maoist figures such as Stan Swamy — is the coordinated targeting of nationalist voices who speak out against the recent Pahalgam terror attack in Anantnag, Jammu & Kashmir, where 26 innocent tourists lost their lives.

Rather than addressing the brutality of the attack, these individuals are exploiting religious sentiments to stir communal tensions and silence discussions on terrorism. Their approach appears to be a deliberate effort to deflect attention from the act of terror by reframing it as an attack on Indian Muslims, thus shielding the perpetrators from criticism.

One prominent victim of this campaign is ‘Tamil Pokkisham’ channel’s Vickneswaran, a nationalist thinker and YouTuber known for his sharp geopolitical analyses from an Indian perspective. After he released a detailed series of videos (Parts 1 to 6) explaining the sequence of events around the Pahalgam attack — using verified news sources and reports — he became the target of a smear campaign. Notably, in these videos, starting from Part 2, he also acknowledged and appreciated how some Kashmiri Muslims helped victims in the aftermath, highlighting the human response beyond religion.

Despite this balanced perspective, Dravidianist sympathizers — some of whom have previously shown support for violent jihadist ideologies — began portraying Vickneswaran as spreading anti-Muslim propaganda. Through selective video edits and misinformation, they’ve launched legal threats and social media attacks to discredit him.

A known Dravidianist figure, goes by the name Kabilan known for spreading divisive rhetoric and misinformation on his official X account, wrote, “Without knowing what happened, this guy came to stir up a Hindu-Muslim problem. There is a Muslim among the dead. He thinks he can use this false news to make a sanghism.”

In another instance, a Dravidianist goes by the name Mithran shared a video claiming: “They shot everyone on sight… They didn’t ask anyone’s name, they didn’t even take off their pants – Interview with the injured.”

However, a closer look at the actual interview reveals a very different story. When the interviewer asked the victim whether the attackers asked for names before shooting, the injured individual clearly responded: “I don’t know that, but there was shooting.” This selective misrepresentation reflects a broader pattern by certain individuals in the state who oppose linguistic and cultural integration. Ironically, they discourage learning other languages — yet use that very ignorance to twist facts and spread false narratives that inflame communal divisions and distort public understanding.

This orchestrated effort not only endangers the safety of individuals like Vickneswaran but also threatens the broader social fabric of India by attempting to suppress honest discourse about terrorism.

There have been multiple reports from mainstream media, testimonies of victims’ families establishing the fact that the terrorists segregated tourists based on their religion, made non-Muslims to recite Kalma and shot them down. However, the Dravidianists have been trying to whitewash the Islamic terrorists by denying these facts.

“We Don’t Want Tourism, We Don’t Want Progress”: Congress Member Sheikh Amir Bats For Namaaz & Azaan Over Tourism & Development

Following the dastardly attack in Pahalgam on innocent tourists in the valley who were majorly Hindus, several news channels, YouTube channels have made their way to Kashmir to cover the local sentiment. In this series of videos that are being circulated on the internet, one video stood out and was hailed by many as the voice of Kashmir.

Speaking to the reporter from Jist channel, he said, The big claims of the government were repeatedly said, that the atmosphere in Kashmir is pleasant, there is no terrorism anywhere. The slogan of Naya Kashmir, Naya Kashmir, was repeatedly given that now Kashmiris are happy. 370 was repealed. It was said that 370 gives rise to terrorism, 370 gives rise to unemployment, 370 gives rise to dynastic rule. When the Home Minister said this, he promised that unemployment will end, employment will come, terrorism will end, dynastic rule will end. Development will take place. Where did development take place? Smart Smart City was said. So you see this smart city, people are troubled, there is no trade anywhere. Sometimes the opposition, sometimes the Muslims, sometimes the Kashmiris are being blamed. Kashmiris cannot tolerate this. We have tolerated a lot.”

When asked further about 370 abrogation, he said, “Terrorism, unemployment, helplessness. Yes, those problems were there even then. We don’t want tourism. We don’t want progress. I am telling you that Kashmiris don’t want tourism. They don’t want progress. You will attack our azaans. You will say you want tourism. You will attack our namaaz. You are talking about tourism. There was an attack on the hijab. You will talk about tourism.”

When the point of discussion came to trust, he said, “You are right. This country is not being run by the government. It is being run ‘Allah Bharose’. No, no, there is no government in it. You are right. Democracy. Which democracy? What is democracy? When you say, When you say that the entire economy is a terrorist, Madam. When you say democracy. Democracy is called Jamhooriyat in Urdu. Demos means people. Cracy means rule. That means. Listen to that. Means the rule of the people, whose rule will it be, it will be of the people, do you feel that this is the rule of the people, does this feel like the rule of the people, where is the rule of the people.”

But it turned out the person in question was actually a Congress member named Sheikh Aamir who was peddling the Congress narrative of separatism and exposed how they wanted the valley to go back into the dark ages.

Malayalam Directors Khalid Rahman, Ashraf Hamza Arrested For Hybrid Ganja Possession In Kochi, Granted Bail

In a major development that has sent shockwaves through the Malayalam film industry, acclaimed directors Khalid Rahman and Ashraf Hamza, along with one Shalif Mohammed, were arrested early Sunday morning by the Excise Special Squad in Kochi for alleged possession of hybrid ganja. The arrests took place around 2 AM at a flat near the Goshree Bridge, following a tip-off received by excise officials.

During the raid, officials seized approximately 1.63 grams of hybrid ganja from the trio. The contraband was reportedly brought to the apartment for consumption. The flat, it is learnt, belongs to cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Sameer Thahir, who is expected to be summoned for questioning in connection with the case.

According to excise officials, Khalid, Ashraf, and Shalif were preparing to consume the cannabis when they were apprehended. Initial questioning revealed that the directors have allegedly been regular users of ganja for years. Officials also stated that the trio provided information regarding the source from whom they procured the contraband, and an investigation into the supplier is currently underway.

Despite their arrest, the three were released on station bail, as the quantity of cannabis found was below the threshold required to file commercial quantity charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985. Under Section 27 of the Act, consumption of drugs can attract a punishment of up to one year imprisonment, a fine of up to ₹20,000, or both.

Following the arrests, the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) swiftly moved to suspend Khalid Rahman and Ashraf Hamza. FEFKA President and veteran filmmaker Sibi Malayil issued instructions for their suspension, a move that has also received the backing of the Kerala Film Producers’ Association (KFPA).

This comes days after Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko was arrested after he fled during a drug raid.

Khalid Rahman, known for critically acclaimed and commercially successful films such as Anuraga Karikkin Vellam (2016), Unda (2019), Love (2020), and Thallumaala (2022), was basking in the success of his latest sports comedy, Alappuzha Gymkhana, released just a fortnight ago. He is the brother of noted cinematographers Shyju Khalid and Jimshi Khalid.

Ashraf Hamza rose to fame directing movies like Thamaasha (2019), Bheemante Vazhi (2021), and Sulaikha Manzil (2023), and also co-wrote Thallumaala. Both directors are widely regarded as key figures in Malayalam cinema’s new wave of talented young filmmakers.

Excise officials emphasized that further action would depend on the ongoing investigation, particularly concerning the supplier identified by the accused.
