Tamil News channel anchor peddles caste hatred, claims PSBB sexual harassment case accused is an ‘Iyer’

Senthilvel, an anchor with the Tamil news channel ‘Maalai Murasu’ who also runs his own Tamil YouTube channel called ‘Tamil Kelvi’ has resorted to spreading fake news and caste hatred claiming that the teacher accused of sexual harassment at PSBB school is an ‘Iyer’.

A teacher of Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, K.K. Nagar has been accused of sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour by students and alumni of the school. The issue had come to light after screenshots of Instagram stories started doing the rounds on social media.

Following the social media outrage, YG Parthasarathy, one of the trustees of the school had asked the management to conduct an inquiry and take appropriate action against the teacher. The teacher has now been suspended by the school with immediate effect.

However, the controversy is being milked by sympathizers of the ruling party in Tamil Nadu to unleash hatred against Brahmins. Many Twitter handles supportive of the DMK spewed casteist remarks against Brahmins and tried to implicate YG Madhuvanthii and her father YG Parthasarthy.

Adding to this, Senthil Vel, who anchors shows for IBC Tamil and Maalai Murasu Tamil news channels in his vlog claimed that the accused teacher is an ‘Iyer’.

“In social media, it is being said that the accused teacher is Rajagopalan. Rajagopalan Iyer. The person named Rajagopalan Iyer has behaved in this manner.”, he says in his video at 4:44. He keeps repeating that the teacher’s name is Rajagopalan Iyer again and again throughout the video.

The anchor also trivializes singer Chinmayi Sripada’s sexual harassment allegations on lyricist Vairamuthu, who shares close ties with the DMK, and goes on to take an apologist stance.

“Chinmayi is coming running and saying ‘did you question Vairamuthu?’. You yourself told about it only after years. Did you tell it instantly? Did you file complaint? Did you file a complaint with the police immediately? Did they file an FIR? Photos of you falling at his feet and taking his blessings during your marriage which happened after your alleged harassment have been shown as proof. But you say you did it out of no choice. How can it be? Those questions have already been asked” Senthilvel says.

“You yourself didn’t say it instantly. You ‘assumed’ that you were being sexually harassed right?. Before that, have you ever given voice or protested to any social tragedies? No. You didn’t even protest despite happening to you. You yourself came to the arena after several years. You are now linking this issue with that issue. Look at how much hatred these people have!”, the anchor says.

Senthilvel, a former News 18 Tamil Nadu anchor who was shown the doors by the channel management, after popular vlogger Maridhas accused the channel and its anchors of favouring one particular ideology and political party, started his own Youtube channel to share his views. He has been sharing his views on current issues in his YouTube channel targeting the BJP and favourable to the DMK.

Man yells anti-Semitic slurs to a rabbi, drops bag full of human feces in front of synagogue in Florida

As the left-liberals and Islamists in America openly showcased their anti-Semitism due to the Israeli counter-attack on Hamas in Gaza, a man dropped a bag full of feces outside a synagogue in the US state of Florida.

The incident took place at the Chabad of South Broward Synagogue in Hallandale Beach in Florida when an unidentified man was screaming anti-Semitic remarks at a rabbi while holding a bag containing human feces.

This incident was caught on a cellphone video of an unidentified man, shows the man screaming anti-Semitic remarks as he dropped the bag full of feces outside the synagogue.

The person also spat on a menorah (ancient Hebrew lampstand) near a sidewalk.

Hallandale Beach Police Captain RaShana Dabney-Donovan said, “Apparently, a young lady who was picking up her daughter from the Chabad witnessed this Black male dump what appeared to be a large bag or a pillowcase or some white cloth that contained human feces…It’s very important for us to combat these types of incidents”

An eyewitness said“All of a sudden, I see this man standing there, no shoes. He was wearing a white tunic. I approached to see what was in the fabric, and it was feces. When he noticed I was following him, he started yelling, ‘[Expletive] Jews, you should not be doing this.”

Hallandale Beach Commissioner Anbelle Lima Taub did not rule out the timing of the incident as it coincides with the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict. “It seems that every time there is an uprising or a situation globally or nationally, easily identifiable members of our religious community, specifically the Orthodox Jewish community, are a target,”.

The Sakalatheerthamudaiyavar temple is located at Theerthaandathanam near SP Pattinam in Ramanathapuram district. It is believed that Lord Ram performed pooja to the presiding deity of this temple after the epic war. During the Tamil months of Thai and Aadi, devotees take a dip at the sea adjacent to the temple, offer oblations to the departed souls in their families and later have a darshan of the deity in the temple.

Before proceeding to the main temple, the devotees, after taking a dip in the sea, pray to the idols of Vinayagar, Amman and Karuppar Swami that is placed near the shore.

This idol of Karuppar Swami was found damaged with its head cut off. There are no confirmed reports on who broke the idol. However, the villagers nearby the temple believe that the act could have been committed by a few mentally challenged people who have been roaming around the area for some days.

Police are investigating the incident.

More evidence emerges that Wuhan virus broke out from lab

In a major development, a report by Wall Street Journal (WSJ) has cited a previously undisclosed United States (US) intelligence report and shared that three researchers from China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) had sought hospital care months before China had officially disclosed the COVID-19 disease, reports The Hindu.

WSJ said that the intelligence report provided fresh details about the number of researchers who were affected, the timings of their illnesses, and their hospital visits.

This gains significance as the WSJ report came out on the eve of a meeting of the World Health Organisation (WHO)’s decision-making body which is expected to discuss the next phase of investigation into the origination of COVID-19.

It should be noted that nations like the US, the UK, Norway and Canada had in March expressed concerns about WHO-led investigations into the origination of COVID-19. They had then called for further investigation and full access to all pertinent human, animal, and other data about the early stage of the outbreak.

It had also been said earlier that China had refused to give raw data on early COVID-19 cases to the WHO-led team which is pursuing the investigation.

A teacher of Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, K.K. Nagar has been accused of sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour by students and alumni of the school. The issue had come to light after screenshots of Instagram stories started doing the rounds on social media.

These screenshots alleged that the teacher had touched students inappropriately, shared pornography links, made sexual innuendos, slut-shamed girl students, etc. One of the screenshot also said that he had appeared for the online class wearing just a towel and had asked out a girl student for a movie. It was also alleged that the school management turned a blind eye towards the teacher in question.

Following the social media outrage, YG Parthasarathy, one of the trustees of the school had asked the management to conduct an inquiry and take appropriate action against the teacher. The teacher has now been suspended by the school with immediate effect.

However, the controversy was milked by sympathizers of the ruling party in Tamil Nadu to unleash hatred against Brahmins. Many Twitter handles supportive of the DMK spewed casteist remarks against Brahmins and tried to implicate YG Madhuvanthii and her father YG Parthasarthy who are trustees and do not oversee day to day operations of the school. Some of them even even went to the extent of blaming the BJP over the matter.

DMK MPs Kanimozhi, Dayanidhi Maran and Thamizhachi Thangapandian too tweeted about the issue to derive political mileage.

However, the DMK and its ecosystem have been completely silent about the Loyola College sexual harassment case in which the former Director of Loyola Alumni Association, Father Xavier Alphonse, had sexually harassed and abused an employee of the college.
