447 of those vaccinated get mild side effects

Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has said that a total of 447 people who were vaccinated against the Wuhan virus have suffered mild side effects.

The Central Government had granted emergency approval for two corona virus vaccines – Covshield and COVAXIN. Following this, vaccination is underway for frontline workers across the country which started on January 16. In the last two days alone, 2,24,301 people have been vaccinated.

Of them, 447 people have so far suffered mild side effects from the vaccine, three of which required hospitalization. The Ministry said that these 3 people are having fever, headache and nausea.
