Chinmayi Sripaada, the ultra-woke leftist self-styled ‘feminist’ virtue signaller has sung the Tamil version of Jai Jai Ram, for Namit Malhotra’s magnum opus Ramayana which has music scored by AR Rahman.
She is a person who has publicly derogated Lord Ram as a “bad husband” repeatedly in several social media posts.
On 26 January 2010, Chinmayi posted: “There cannot be a worse example for a husband than Lord Rama or even Lakshman for that matter.”
In another post, after saying she had finished Tamil dubbing for Sriramarajyam, she wrote that Sita had lived a wretched life and that, in the name of dharma, Rama had been a terrible husband.
“Wonder what sort of a blessing it is when someone wishs that a girl should get a husband like Rama”, she wrote in January 2010 derogating the Hindu God.
And she doesn’t have a problem only with Lord Ram. Chinmayi has repeatedly used Hindu festivals, rituals and symbols as the target.
On 21 August 2026, after Varalakshmi Vratham, she posted that the pooja often became “emotional harassment” or menstrual segregation, that a widow should not be treated as amangalam, and that Hindu women should “not be such valiant gatekeepers of patriarchy.” She added that menstruation is not impure and that women living with abusive husbands are not the epitome of a sumangali.
In September 2026, after a 15-year-old girl in Muzaffarnagar was allegedly abducted and raped on Janmashtami night — the accused named in reports as Mohammad Sameer, Md Waleen and Md Salman — she wrote: “3 men raped a teenage girl on Janmashtami day. Hope at least this year there wont be rape cases during Navaratri.” She did not name the accused.
In February 2026, as the Epstein files circulated, she posted: “If Epstein had been dharmic singing Bhajans, looks like he’d have been the next Babaji and this country would have celebrated him.” Hindu IT Cell said it filed a complaint in Maharashtra alleging insult to Hindu dharma.
In October 2024 she answered critics of India with: “We are Hindu majority no?” and “I suggest you go bathe in the Yamina as of today.” In the same exchange she wrote that Hindu history had “enough of massacres of Jains” recorded in stone inscriptions.
After a Canadian house fire linked to Diwali fireworks in October 2025, she wrote that “the Indian community should basically rebuild his house for him,” then turned the argument onto Brahmins and historical temple exclusion.
In January 2021 she announced solidarity with writer Meena Kandasamy after Kandasamy abused Brahmins. When told the context, she said Kandasamy was “allowed her anger” and that the abuses were “pretty civil.”
That is the trail now being placed against her Tamil Jai Jai Ram credit: Rama called a bad husband, Lakshmi vratham called patriarchy, Navaratri and Janmashtami tied to rape, bhajans and babajis tied to Epstein, the Hindu majority blamed for India’s filth, Brahmins abused and then defended as fair game.
