As Russia intensifies its assault on Ukraine which has a history of not supporting India, its ambassador in New Delhi, Dr Igor Polikha has said that the condition of Ukrainians is just like the condition of Rajputs when the Mughals attacked and massacred over 30,000 Hindus in Chittorgarh in 1567.
He told journalists in Delhi, “It’s like the massacre arranged by Mughals against Rajputs. We are asking every time all influential world leaders, among them Modi Ji, to use every resource against Putin to stop bombing and shelling: Dr Igor Polikha, Ambassador of Ukraine to India on,”.

Ambassador Polikha also said on the day Bharat celebrated Maha Shivratri that all Shiva devotees present in India should pray to Lord Shiva to avert this war.
Speaking to reporters, Polikha said, there are a lot of Shaivites in India and they must pray to finish this war as soon as possible.
