TN CM MK Stalin endorses book peddling Hindu hatred

On Monday (October 11), Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin met and felicitated a bunch of YouTubers who had reportedly crowd-sourced money to sponsor oxygen producing equipment for the Tiruvannamalai Government Hospital.

These YouTubers include Avudaiappan of Behindwoods, Madan Gowri, alleged ‘fact-checker’ Iyan Karthikeyan and several others.

Among those who CM Stalin met and felicitated also include ousted anchor from News 18 Tamil Nadu Senthilvel who currently runs Tamil Kelvi.

He had presented a book with a cover that had a caricature of a Brahmin Pandit and a map of India burning in a fire-altar.

The book written by one Pozhilan is titled “Veda fanatic India” in Tamil, referring to the ancient Indian religious texts that are composed in Sanskrit.

The DMK is known for attacking the Hindu faith and peddling hatred against Hindus especially targetting the Brahmin community.

CM Stalin himself when he was the Opposition leader had made obscene remarks on Hindu rituals while participating in a Muslim marriage function.

Political commentator Sumanth C Raman lashed out CM Stalin endorsing Hindu hatred and asked if no one in the Chief Minister’s screen what books are presented.

An anonymous Twitter user that goes by the name Reality Check India had lamented that such books continued to be written in Tamil Nadu and in the Tamil language.
