About Nakkheeran Gopal

Nakkheeran Gopal is a rabid Dravidian Stockist who fashions himself as an investigative journalist. Back in the day he served as emissary between forest brigand Veerappan and the government when the former had kidnapped Kannada actor Rajkumar. In 2003, he was arrested on charges of possession of an unlicensed revolver with ammunition.

His magazine is known for being high on sleaze indulging in ‘yellow journalism’. In 2018, he had published a story in his magazine casting aspersions on former Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit linking him with a sex scandal that happened in Madurai Kamaraj University at the behest of one Nirmala Devi. He was arrested and later released for the defamation.

Recently, he had linked BJP leader H. Raja with the Principal of the Sakthi International School where a class 12 student died under mysterious circumstances. The BJP leader has now come down heavy on Nakkheeran Gopal calling him a ‘mini Mallya’ taking a jibe at his non-repayment of the loan.

Nakkheeran is also a vocal supporter of the DMK and often peddles fake news about the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
