Self-Styled ‘Anti-Caste Activist’ Attacks Instagram Influencer For Meeting PM Modi

Shalin Maria Lawrence, a self-proclaimed ‘anti-caste activist’ who identifies herself as a ‘Dalit Christian’ writer has abused prominent Instagram influencer and stand-up comic “Aiyyo” Shraddha in light of her meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

‘Aiyyo’ Shraddha (Shraddha Jain) had shared her experience of meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in her social media account.  She was one of the famous personalities from Karnataka who met the PM during his visit to the poll-bound state.

In an interview to DD News, she said “Meeting the Prime Minister of our country… how do you quickly put it quickly in words! I am still in a daze. He met me, and we shook hands as I entered the room, he said, ‘Aiyyo!’. Aiyyo is a prefix to my social media handle, it’s called Aiyyo Shraddha and the fact that he remembered it and he remembered my face and Aiyyo, and he said Aiyyo! In fact, if the photographers have clicked that picture, it’s a picture of he going Aiyyo and me going [makes expressions of surprise] because I did not expect him to say that. It was a very wonderful warm chat. He told us how proud he was about how the South Indian film industry has showcased the beauty of our country, the richness of our country.”

Many leftists pounced on her social media attacking her for meeting the Prime Minister. One of them was controversial ‘activist’ Shalin Maria Lawrence who called her a Sanghi.

Sanghi is a colloquial term referring to a devout Hindu, a subscriber of Hindutva ideology, a support of BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and everything in that spectrum. However, it is often used as a derogatory reference by leftists and Dravidian Stockists.
