CCTV footage of a man setting a woman on fire at the Chennai Koyambedu bus stand during a dispute over an illicit affair has emerged.
Shanthi, who hails from Kodambakkam, stayed at the Koyambedu bus stand and worked as a cleaner on a contract basis. Shanti, who has been married and divorced twice, entered into an affair with a third man named Muthu.
Meanwhile, Shanti is reunited with her 2nd husband Shriram. Upon coming to know about this, Muthu came to Koyambedu bus stand on April 9th, poured petrol on Shanthi and set her on fire.
Both of them died on the spot. Four people who were sleeping nearby survived the ordeal.
