Dorothy, the latest film directed by woke Dravidianist director Karthik Subburaj is being trashed by people all across Tamil Nadu. The film was even banned from being released in Malaysia for its provocative woke LGBT+ ideology.
The film, set in rural Tamil Nadu in the 1990s, begins with childhood friends Karthi and Subbu growing up amid caste divisions, violence and an aggressively masculine environment.
But the film eventually takes a dramatic turn towards gender fluidity and same-sex attraction.
At one point, a trans woman delivers the line, “Why don’t you see us as human? In 10 years, just 10 years, the world will accept us as we are. Men like you will be looked at with disgust.”
But what is worse is the final scene where the male leads engage in a lip lock!
