A pastor belonging to Kerala’s Ernakulam has been arrested for allegedly forcing a minor boy to have sex with him.
Joseph Kodian (63) hails from Paravoor near Ernakulam, Kerala. He has been a priest at the St. Thomas Church in Varrapuzha. Reports say that he was threatening a 14-year-old boy from the area who was coming to church to indulge in homosexuality.
The traumatized boy told his parents about the sexual harassment by the pastor. The shocked parents of the boy lodged a complaint with the Varappuzha police.
The police registered a case and arrested Pastor Joseph Kodian on Monday (August 15). The pastor fainted while he was being taken to the police station for questioning. The police later admitted him to Ernakulam Government Hospital for treatment. The police have decided to produce Pastor Joseph in court after the treatment.
