An office bearer of the DMK in Tirupur was reportedly caught distributing passes to vendors for mobile sale of meat which is supposed to be issued by an urban local local body like municipal corporation.
The Tirupur Corporation has been distributing passes to vendors and traders for mobile sales and door delivery vegetable and fruits. Likewise, arrangements were made for distributing passes to vendors selling meat and fish so that they can do mobile sales.
These passes were being distributed by a DMK office bearer at the Periyakadai Veedhi day before yesterday morning. He had distributed around 30 passes to different vendors.
The incident has caused stir amongst the vendors and traders as these passes are to be issued by the corporation.
