Govt Hikes Minimum Wage Rates For Workers, Effective From Oct 1

Govt Hikes Minimum Wage Rates For Workers, Effective From Oct 1

The government on Thursday announced to increase minimum wage rates by revising the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), in a bid to help workers cope with the rising cost of living. The move will support workers, particularly those in the unorganised sector.

Workers engaged in various sectors, including building construction, loading and unloading, watch and ward, sweeping, cleaning, housekeeping, mining, and agriculture within central sphere establishments, will benefit from the revised wage rates. The new wage rates will take effect from October 1. Last revision was done in April this year. The minimum wage rates are categorized based on skill levels —unskilled, semi-skilled, skilled and highly skilled — as well as by geographical area—A, B, and C.

According to the Ministry of Labour and Employment, after revision, minimum wage rates in area “A” for workers in construction, sweeping, cleaning, loading and unloading for unskilled work will be Rs 783 a day (Rs 20,358 per month); for semi-skilled Rs 868 a day (Rs 22,568 per month); for skilled, clerical and watch and wards without arms Rs 954 a day (Rs 24,804 per month); and for highly-skilled and watch and ward with arms Rs 1,035 a day (Rs 26,910 per month) The government revises the VDA twice a year, effective from April 1 and October 1, based on the six-month average increase in the Consumer Price Index for industrial workers.

Meanwhile, retail inflation for industrial workers moderated to 2.15 per cent in the month of July, as compared to 7.54 per cent in the same month last year. The year-on-year inflation for June 2024 was 3.67 per cent as compared to 5.57 per cent in June 2023. The Consumer Price Index-Industrial Workers (CPI-IW) has been steadily declining since February this year and was 3.87 per cent in April 2024, figures compiled by the Labour Ministry showed. The all-India CPI-IW for July 2024 increased by 1.3 points and stood at 142.7, from 141.4 in June.

Delhi HC Seeks Status Of Plea For Cancellation Of Rahul Gandhi’s Citizenship In Allahabad HC

Delhi HC Seeks Status Of Plea For Cancellation Of Rahul Gandhi's Citizenship In Allahabad HC

The Delhi High Court on Thursday deferred hearing on a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) moved by senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy seeking direction to the Union Home Ministry to cancel the Indian citizenship of Rahul Gandhi when the Congress leader has “declared himself a British citizen”. Noting that a similar petition to cancel Rahul Gandhi’s citizenship is pending before the Allahabad High Court, a Bench headed by Acting Chief Justice (ACJ) Manmohan remarked that the same issue should not be agitated simultaneously before two different forums in the interest of justice.

The Bench, also comprising Justice Tushar Rao Gedela, asked the Union government’s standing counsel to obtain a copy of the petition, along with the case status, pending before the Allahabad HC. Posting the matter for further hearing on October 9, the Delhi HC said that it intended to doubly make sure that it does not usurp the other High Court’s jurisdiction. The plea filed by Swamy before the Delhi High Court sought direction from the Union Home Ministry to furnish a status report on the complaint/representation he filed against Gandhi and decide it as soon as possible.

In 2019, the BJP leader wrote a letter to the Union Home Ministry on violations made by Rahul Gandhi voluntarily disclosing to the UK government that he is a British citizen and holds a British passport. Swamy said that with this declaration, the Congress leader ceases to be an Indian Citizen in Article 9 of the Constitution, read with the Indian Citizenship Act, 1955.

A Company named Backops Limited was registered in the United Kingdom in 2003, with address 51 Southgate Street, Winchester, Hampshire SO23 9EH, where Gandhi was one of the Directors and Secretary of the said company. In the Company’s Annual Returns filed on 10/10/2005 and 31/10/2006, your (Gandhi) date of birth has been given as 19/06/1970 and you had declared your nationality as British. Further, in the Dissolution application dated 17/02/2009 of the above referred company, your nationality has been mentioned as British,” said the Union Home Ministry in correspondence to Rahul Gandhi on Swamy’s complaint.

In his petition, Swamy said that he sent many representations to the Home Ministry asking for an update and the status of his complaint, but no action has been taken or intimated to him about the same. “Hence, this petition for direction to Respondent No. 1 (Home Ministry) to furnish a status report on the complaint/representation filed by the petitioner against Respondent No.2 (Rahul Gandhi) and to decide the complaint/representation filed by the petitioner at the earliest and to furnish the conclusion / final order of the complaint/representation filed,” the plea said.

If NC & PDP Succeed In Assembly Polls, It Will Be Success Of Pakistan’s Intentions In J&K : Amit Shah

If NC & PDP Succeed In Assembly Polls, It Will Be Success Of Pakistan’s Intentions In J&K : Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Thursday that if NC and PDP candidates are elected in Assembly elections, it would be the success of Pakistan’s intentions in J&K. Addressing a BJP campaign rally in Chenani Assembly constituency of Udhampur district, he said: “This Assembly election will decide not only the fate of Chenani, but entire J&K. If NC and PDP get elected in these elections, that would be the success of Pakistan’s intentions in J&K.” “If they (NC-PDP) get elected, Pakistan will celebrate, and if Balwant Singh Mankotia (BJP candidate) gets elected, India will celebrate with firecrackers,” Shah said.

Citing NC and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s remark that they will get back Article 370 and get back the Kashmiri flag, the Union Home Minister said: “I tell Rahul baba even if his three generations fight for it, article 370 will not come back. Congress, NC and PDP pushed J&K into terrorism for 40 years. Around 40,000 people were killed and 3,000 days were lost to curfew.” The Union Minister said that he had told the Parliament that after the elections, “we will Jammu and Kashmie statehood back. Modiji also said this. Only the parliament can give J&K statehood and Narendra Modi is the leader of the Parliament. Alleging that they (NC-Congress) want to bring back terrorism, he said, “I want to tell Omar Abdullah that despite his desire, we will bury terrorism deep down under the earth and it will never come back.”

Drawing a sharp contrast between the facility given during the tenure of previous governments and the Modi government, Union Minister Shah said: “For 70 to 75 years three families of Abdullahs, Muftis and Gandhis ruled, did you get Rs 5 lakh free healthcare which you are getting now? He promised Rs 10 lakh free healthcare, Rs 10,000 financial assistance to farmers instead of the present Rs 6000, Rs 18000 to the eldest lady of each household and reduction in electric power tariff in remote areas by 50 per cent if the BJP is elected to power.

Slamming the NC, Shah said: “They kept terrorism alive, cinemas were closed and when Farooq was CM, terrorism grew and flourished. Instead of fighting terrorism, he left Srinagar for London to spend holidays there. “For 70 years, these three families made democracy their hostage. We held Panchayat, BDC and DDC elections. These three families gave you 87 MLAs, we gave you 40,000 elected representatives through Panchayat, BDC and DDC elections,” he said. “They created the rivers of corruption, we cleaned them. My helicopter couldn’t land here. It landed at Udhampur. I came by road, the driver told me it would take one hour and I am here in 25 minutes. You have roads like Delhi and Gujarat and these were made under the Modi government,” the Union Minister said.

“NC and Congress say Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru should not have been hanged. Omar Abdullah you may continue to serve Biryani to terrorists, but we will hang them. You want to release terrorists and stone pelters. Only courts can do that and we have made strong laws so that your dream of releasing them will never be realised,” he said. “Former union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde said in Maharashtra recently that he was afraid to go to Lal Chowk. Today, I tell Shindeji, come with your grandchildren to visit Lal Chowk and you don’t even need a bulletproof vehicle,” the Union Minister said. “It was a struggle to hoist the Tricolour in Lal Chowk and today every house in Srinagar has a tricolour. Muharram and Janmasthami were celebrated after 40 years in Srinagar,” he said.

“In Chenani, you have today India’s longest Chenani-Nashri road tunnel. Work on Chenani-Wayilu road has been started. Listing the developmental works of the BJP government, he said: “There is Patnitop Gandola project here. Seventy-two lakh families were given free ration, and in Udhampur district, 43,000 gas connections have been given. Dogri was given the status of official language, 23 degree colleges were opened. Students from Chenani don’t have to go to distant places to get education now.” “Abdullahs and Mufti’s continued injustice with Jammu for 70 years, Narendra Modi finished that injustice in 5 years,” he said. He said that Jammu will have an international airport and metro and each year 100 temples destroyed by terrorists will be rebuilt.

“Jammu will have a riverfront, and Ranjit Sagar Ram will have water sports. College students will get Rs 3,000 travel allowance. Students of higher secondary schools will get laptops and tablets to get online education. In remote areas. Kishtwar will have an Ayush herbal park, Udhampur will become a pharmaceutical hub and Jammu will become an IT hub and above all, J&K will be free of terrorism,” he said. Jammu, Kathua, Samba and Udhampur districts of Jammu division and Baramulla and Kupwara districts of the Valley will go to vote on October 1 in the third and last phase of J&K elections. Counting will take place on October 8.

Chess Not Just A Man’s Game: When PM Modi’s Words Of Praise Inspired 9-Year-Old Vantika Agrawal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently hosted India’s young chess players at his official residence over their heroic feat at the 45th Chess Olympiad in Budapest as both the men’s and women’s teams clinched their maiden gold medals. Vantika Agarwal, one of the Chess Olympiad winners, on Thursday recalled her story of meeting the then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in 2012 and how his words left her deeply inspired.

Vantika also said she was elated that PM Modi remembered her birthday. “My birthday was on September 20 and PM sir remembered it. I couldn’t believe he remembered my birthday. When I was 9, he organised a mega event in Gujarat. At that time, I had won two gold medals in the Asian Championships.” “I was felicitated by Narendra Modi ji. It was only then I decided to keep giving my blood and sweat to bring laurels to the nation,” she said. Modi Archive, a popular handle on X, has shared the video.

It also shared an old photograph of the then 9-year-old Vantika Agrawal and her note in which she wrote, ‘Thank you, sir, for motivating me to reach this height.’ The popular handle in an earlier post highlighted PM Modi’s passion for the game as he met the Indian men’s and women’s teams. During his tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2009, he made chess a mandatory subject in schools in the Ahmedabad district. He plans to expand this initiative statewide in the following years.

In 2012, to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s 150th birth anniversary, the Gujarat Chief Minister organized ‘Swami Vivekananda Mahila Chess Mahotsav’, a tournament aimed at breaking stereotypes. More than 3,500 women chess players and more than 1,250 Divyangjans participated in the tournament.

BJP TN Functionary Files Complaint With Andhra DGP Against Parithabangal YouTubers For ‘Laddu Pavangal’ Video

BJP TN Functionary Files Complaint With Andhra DGP Against Parithabangal YouTubers For 'Laddu Pavangal' Video

Tamil Nadu BJP functionary Amar Prasad Reddy has complained with the Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP), urging the registration of an FIR against ‘Parithabangal’ YouTube channel for inciting enmity and offending religious sentiments through its ‘Laddu Pavangal‘ video.

The BJP leader pointed out a specific statement from the Parithabangal video, which claimed, “Tirupati Laddoo with Beef and Fish Oil will taste superb,” deeming it highly offensive to Hindus and disrespectful of the sacred offering. He also mentioned that the video contained inappropriate references to Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.

Reddy confirmed the complaint on Twitter, highlighting that while the video was removed, it still insulted Hindu sentiments and could incite communal tension. He has called for immediate action under Sections 196 and 299 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

The video, posted by the popular YouTuber duo Gopi and Sudhakar which was in bad taste was taken down after widespread outrage by the Hindu community. Following the backlash, Gopi and Sudhakar apologised, stating it was meant for humour and not to offend anyone.

Seeman Goes On Anti-Hindu Tirade Over Tirupati Laddu Row, Attacks Andhra Dy CM Pawan Kalyan

Seeman Goes On Anti-Hindu Tirade Over Tirupati Laddu Row, Attacks Andhra Dy CM Pawan Kalyan

The Tirupati prasadam adulteration issue doesn’t seem to arrest Hinduphobic remarks from Dravidianists and their politicians. Now it is the turn of Naam Tamilar Katchi chief Seeman to trivialize outrage over the mixing of beef fat in Tirupati holy prasadam. Seeman dismissed the Tirupati prasadam contamination issue as exaggerated while mocking Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s prayaschittam rituals. He reduced the case to a mere adulteration issue, suggesting that swift action against adulteration should end the matter quickly

He asked news reporters, “Where is Sanatana Dharma coming here? What is the problem here? If I was the Chief Minister, I would have taken action against the one who supplied adulterated ghee and changed the contractor. That is all. But they made it such a big issue. Let me ask you something. You drink milk, you consume ghee, where did it come from, where did the fat come from? You consume ghee and milk, but you say you’ll die if you eat the fat from cows? What is your problem? These people have a theory. If I eat beef, I am low caste, the ones who drink milk are intermediary castes, and the ones who drink cow urine are high caste. Only in India will you see milk is wasted (poured), ghee is burnt, and urine is drunk. You will drink urine but will not consume fat.

You could have finished this issue in a matter of 30 minutes – all they needed to do was test the ghee, punish the guilty, change the contractors, test the purity of the ingredients, and move on.”

In response to a question on what he thought about sprinkling cow urine (gomium) in the Tirupati temple premises as a part of the purification procedure, Seeman said, “Are you people respecting or insulting Perumal? Is He someone who will get defiled/unclean for a laddu? Is this politics? There is something you must learn. Those who do politics with caste, religion, and God are someone who will never think about the people. He doesn’t need that. For a leader who thinks about the land, its people will neither have the time nor the need to think about caste, religion, or God.”

When asked about Pawan Kalyan doing the prayaschittam rituals, he said, “Maybe to reduce weight. It is not nice to see the youth grow like that. If it is about God, he must talk directly. He must say it was wrong to adulterate the ghee. Now Jaganmohan Reddy says we must protest against Chandrababu Naidu’s rule, and Naidu says a Christian mixed the beef fat. What is this?”

The reporter then asked about the alleged adulteration in Palani panchamirtham. Seeman said, “I don’t know.”

The reporter then mentioned the arrest of Mohan G who made the allegations.

Seeman said, “It was only an opinion. They should have proved that it was wrong. Someone said there was a rat and then someone else said there was a cockroach. You mixed with ration rice, which is also adulteration. The jaggery that you gave us during Pongal had insects, it even melted. You even justified it saying anyway for making Pongal, jaggery had to be melted and we are facilitating it for you. It is important to see which issue is important for the people. You must also analyze how problematic it is for the people because of the ones ruling. To hide that, they take up this cause. The DMK government diverted that issue by talking about that boy Vishnu. Like that now it is the laddu. This can be acted on in just seconds. The host should not have asked the question to Karthi. He, very diplomatically said that it is a sensitive issue, and people’s feelings are attached to it and should not be spoken of, the host should have kept quiet, but she kept asking him again and again. Listen to the speech, he did not want to hurt anyone. It is not right to get angered by it. Karthi is not at fault; Pawan shouldn’t get angry for all this.”

“HR&CE Doing The Work Of Vasool Raja”: Madurai Bench Of Madras HC Slams TN HR&CE Department For Neglecting Temple Maintenance

HR&CE Doing The Work Of Vasool Raja: Madurai Bench Of Madras HC

The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court has sharply criticized the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department of the DMK government for failing to properly maintain temples under its control, particularly the historic Rameswaram Ramanatha Swamy Temple. The court likened the department’s functioning to that of “Vasool Raja MBBS jobs,” implying that the department is more focused on revenue collection than on temple upkeep and filling crucial vacancies.

The remarks were made during the hearing of a public interest litigation (PIL) filed by lawyer Yanai Rajendran, who sought to fill the vacant posts of priests and officers at the Rameswaram temple. Rajendran highlighted that, according to regulations, the temple should have 12 priests (Gurus) and 19 assistant priests. However, only 2 priests and 7 assistants are currently employed. Additionally, he noted that 42 other key positions, including that of Bhagavatars, remain unfilled.

Rajendran pointed out that despite the temple generating more than ₹90 crore annually, the HR&CE Department has neglected its responsibilities, particularly in maintaining temple operations and filling vacancies. He argued that the lack of adequate staff is affecting the conduct of daily rituals and pujas, which are vital to the temple’s spiritual and cultural activities.

The bench, comprising Justices Subramanian and Victoria, questioned the HR&CE Department about the sanctioned number of priests and staff for the Rameswaram temple and how many were actually employed. The court also sought details on the temple’s annual income and expenditure, ordering the department to submit a comprehensive report addressing these issues.

The Rameswaram Ramanatha Swamy Temple is one of the most revered and ancient temples in Tamil Nadu, attracting thousands of devotees daily, especially on auspicious days. The PIL has brought to light broader concerns about the HR&CE Department’s oversight and the overall condition of temple maintenance across the state.

The court’s directive is seen as a critical step toward ensuring that the necessary appointments are made to restore the temple’s operations to full capacity.

Neither You Nor Your 3 Generations Can Restore J&K’s Statehood: Amit Shah On Rahul’s Claim

After Haryana Poll Win, Amit Shah Hits Out At Rahul Gandhi For Tarnishing India's Image Abroad

Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday rubbished claims of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah of restoring Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood, saying that “neither you nor your three generations can do the same”.

Addressing a rally in Chenani in support of party candidate Balwant Singh Mankotia, Shah said that they (Congress-NC) claim that they will restore the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir, but it can be done only by Parliament.

Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood will be restored, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi will do it, he said. Hitting out at Gandhis, Abdullahs and Muftis, he said: “During the rule of three families (Congress, NC, PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir, 40,000 people were killed. In the past 35-40 years, curfews were imposed for 3,003 days. However, after Narendra Modi came to power and Article 370 was abrogated, there were no bomb explosions and no stone pelting.”

Slamming Omar Abdullah for advocating for Afzal Guru, Union Minister Shah asked the audience whether the Parliament attack convict should have been hanged or not, to which the public replied in affirmative.

He also promised to increase the limit of the golden card for free health treatments from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh and assistance from ₹6,000 to ₹10,000. Citing that the former Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde had revealed that he was afraid to visit Lal Chowk, Union Minister Shah, highlighting the changed security scenario in the state, said, now anybody can go there.

“Lal Chowk is now celebrating Muharram, Janmashtami with fervour and no untoward incident is being reported,” he said. He promised an international airport in Jammu, a water sports facility in Ranjit Sagar dam, ₹3,000 to college students as travel allowance, laptops and tablets to children up to higher secondary level. The Union Minister said: “Udhampur will become a pharmaceutical hub, we will form a hill development board for speedy development of hilly areas in Jammu division.”

India Today Report Exposes Shocking Drug Abuse Near DMK’s Youth Wing Office In Chennai

India Today Report Exposes Shocking Drug Abuse Near DMK's Youth Wing Office In Chennai

Alarming visuals have surfaced showing instances of drug abuse in a secluded area near the DMK party headquarters in Chennai, raising concerns about the effectiveness of the Tamil Nadu government’s efforts to curb drug-related activities. The footage, exclusively accessed by India Today, reveals individuals consuming alcohol and drugs in a space located next to prominent landmarks, including a central government office, a metro station, and the DMK’s Anbagam office on Anna Salai.

The location, despite being in the heart of the city, has reportedly been used by anti-social elements as a hub for substance abuse. The secluded nature of the spot has allowed these activities to continue unchecked despite the area’s proximity to key government buildings.

This revelation has cast a spotlight on the ongoing drug abuse challenge faced by the DMK government in controlling the growing drug menace in Tamil Nadu. Despite efforts to tackle the issue, this incident has sparked criticism, with opposition parties accusing the government of failing to address the problem effectively, even in high-profile areas under its jurisdiction.

Kadaisi Ulaga Por: A Hip Hop Ode to Unity And Nationalism

Kadaisi Ulaga Por: A Hip Hop Ode to Unity And Nationalism

Hiphop Tamizha’s “Kadaisi Ulaga Por” (The Last World War), released in 2024, transcends the typical action-packed sci-fi war movie genre. It embeds a profound message about the importance of nationalism and unity within its thrilling narrative. The film’s dystopian backdrop serves as a unique canvas to paint a story that resonates with contemporary social and political realities, while also highlighting the courage and spirit of the Tamil Indian people.

In the dystopian year 2028, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister GNR’s (Nassar) illness triggers a power struggle. His cunning brother-in-law Natarajan (Natty) schemes to install GNR’s daughter Keerthana (Anagha) as his political puppet. But Keerthana defies her uncle and initiates bold reforms with the support of her partner Thamizh (Adhi). Their progress is abruptly halted when the expansionist Chinese Forces with the meek “One Nation, One Republic” agenda, replaces the UN (United Nations) by forming the Republic Alliance, and unleashes devastation on non-compliant nations. Chennai is decimated, and its citizens face genocide at the hands of Republic soldiers. Amidst the chaos, some manage to escape. In this shattered world, Thamizh and his band of patriots rise to fight for their homeland and reclaim their freedom.

The protagonist, Tamizh, played by Hiphop Tamizha himself, begins as an ordinary young man thrust into extraordinary circumstances. As the world crumbles around him, Tamil’s dormant leadership qualities emerge, revealing his deep-seated patriotism and ability to unite people in the face of adversity. The film’s clever political satire adds another layer, prompting laughter while also provoking thoughtful reflection on the current political climate. The message is clear: amidst forces that seek to divide us, unity is our greatest strength.

Natty, alias Nataraj, shines in his dual role as both the narrator and as the anti-hero. His character arc is a testament to the transformative power of challenging times. He begins as an antagonist, selfish and cruel, but evolves into a wise guide and pillar of support for Tamizh. Natty’s nuanced performance expertly captures this growth, making his character relatable and inspiring.

In “Kadaisi Ulaga Por,” the enigmatic Priyanka Pariera emerges as a chilling antagonist, a ruthless commander within the Republic’s forces. Representing the oppressive regime, he carries out the organisation’s genocidal agenda with chilling efficiency. His history with the massacre of Sri Lankan Tamils, though not spoken in depth adds an emotional appeal to the Tamil audience. Pariera’s cold demeanor and strategic brilliance make her a formidable adversary for Thamizh and his resistance fighters. He embodies the dehumanizing nature of conflict and the lengths some will go to achieve their ideological goals, even at the cost of countless lives.

The film’s technical aspects are equally commendable. Hiphop Tamizha’s signature music infuses the narrative with energy and emotion, while the action sequences and visual effects are commendable to have come from the young music director who has transformed into a director. “Kadaisi Ulaga Por” isn’t simply an entertaining spectacle; it’s a thought-provoking exploration of themes like nationalism, unity, and leadership. It is a timely film that inspires a sense of patriotism and underscores the importance of togetherness in today’s world. Hiphop Tamizha’s directorial vision, coupled with the stellar performances of the cast and crew, makes this film a remarkable achievement.

A notable aspect of “Kadaisi Ulaga Por” is its deliberate focus on the Tamil Nadu front, leaving the status of the war outside the state largely unexplored. While the film attributes this lack of information to wartime communication disruptions, it does leave a degree of ambiguity. However, considering the movie’s primary aim to ignite a sense of unity and patriotism, rather than provide a comprehensive war chronicle, this choice is understandable.

While “Kadaisi Ulaga Por” undeniably triumphs in its storytelling and powerful message, there are moments where Hiphop Tamizha’s relative inexperience in filmmaking and screenwriting becomes apparent. Certain parts, like the rushed and unconvincing love track, the government’s wartime response, and the backstory of Thamizh as an anti-poaching squad member, limited development on minor characters, etc., could have benefited from tighter execution and a more refined narrative flow. However, the sheer strength of the story and its underlying themes of unity and patriotism overshadow these flaws, ultimately contributing to the film’s success.

“Kadaisi Ulaga Por” goes beyond mere entertainment. It’s a call to action, particularly for the younger generation, to embrace their national identity and recognize the strength that lies in unity. For this to have come from a youth icon – the Coimbatore boy, adds the necessary influential element to the movie. The deliberate choice to name the film “The last world war”, instead the third, suggests the end of wars and the beginning for unity. In a world often marred by division, this film’s message of hope and solidarity is more crucial than ever. Kudos to the Coimbatore Singa Kutty!
