Dravidianist anti-BJP Instagram influencer Hussain Ahmed who runs the Cheran Academy page has come into the spotlight exposing his Dravidianist Brahmin hatred by targeting Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu.
He posted his abusive comments against Vembu who had commented on the cockroach protests in Delhi.
Vembu had written on his X handle, “One thing is clear: the Delhi protesters want to plunge India into chaos, and stop the nation’s progress. We must defeat this malicious agenda, which is aided and abetted by powers that want to destroy India. We have a vibrant democracy and elections are the proper way to express our collective judgment.”

Reacting to this in an abusive manner, Hussain shared a post on his Instagram quoting the comments of Sridhar Vembu and attaching his caption “VembuVOOMBU”- a play on Vembu’s surname. The phrase is a vulgar Tamil slang with a sexually explicit connotation, accusing the influencer of resorting to abusive language instead of engaging with Vembu’s views.
It is noteworthy that Hussain’s content is primarily verbal diarrhoea and conspiracy theories that are dramatised and shared on the social media handles.
He is alleged to have exposed a minor rape victim’s face and exposing her to the people around her after which she is said to have committed suicide. While the veracity of this claim is not clear since it was shared by alleged activist and anti-Hindu Piyush Manush, a case was reportedly filed against Hussain.
The post drew widespread criticism on social media, with many users condemning Hussain Ahmed for using vulgar language against Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu. They argued that disagreeing with Vembu’s views is legitimate, but resorting to abusive and sexually explicit slurs is not.
