TVK Sports Minister Aadhav Arjuna’s attack on actors allegedly planning their political entry from Delhi has sparked controversy, particularly after he branded potential political entrants as “Satan’s children”, as reported in Tamil Samayam.
His remarks have drawn attention to unapologetically Hindu actor Dhanush, a devotee of Lord Shiva, amid speculation that both Dhanush and Sivakarthikeyan may be exploring political ambitions. While Aadhav did not name either actor, his comments have fuelled questions over whether his attack was aimed at the actors reportedly making political moves from Delhi.
“India’s victory will be created in Tamil Nadu. The Secular Social Justice Alliance will decide who becomes Prime Minister in the 2029 elections,” Aadhav Arjuna said during an IUML meeting, alleging that new actors were camping in Delhi to challenge this political narrative.
Actor-turned-politician Vijay’s electoral victory in 2026 has disrupted established political perceptions in Tamil Nadu. Following his success, several film personalities have begun speaking more openly about their political ambitions.
Dhanush, one of Tamil cinema’s prominent actors, has now become the subject of speculation following a series of developments that have fuelled rumours of a possible political entry.
Aadhav Arjuna Targets Dhanush?
Speaking at the IUML meeting, Aadhav Arjuna asserted that Tamil Nadu would shape India’s political future and claimed that new actors were attempting to challenge this narrative by operating from Delhi.
“Victory will be created from Tamil Nadu. Forget what happened over the last 15 years. India’s victory will be created from Tamil Nadu. It is to break this image that new actors are going and sitting in Delhi. Nothing of that sort will happen. We have seen all this before. Let anyone come. Let them try anything. Let them come from anywhere. Let whoever new wants to come. What do we have to lose? We got bored with the DMK. They have become Satan’s children. Next more new children of Satan will come. All sitting in Delhi. We know who is sitting in Delhi, which actor is going to Delhi to attend Pongal event, which actor has packed himself to Delhi and staying there. We are watching all this. Won’t the people know? So, in the upcoming elections, several election work will be done by them. We have booth level work in our mind. Do whatever you want but the Secular Victory Alliance, our leader Vijay and all the leaders here – it is an alliance of all of them. “

Although Aadhav Arjuna did not name any actor in these remarks, the comments have drawn attention amid the speculation surrounding Dhanush’s reported Delhi visit and it is noteworthy that Sivakarthikeyan attended the Pongal event in Delhi earlier this year.
Dhanush Converts Fan Club Into Welfare Organisation
Dhanush has transformed his fan club into a welfare organisation, a move that has drawn attention given Tamil Nadu’s history of actors using their fan associations as a foundation for political activity.
The actor is also said to have begun restructuring the organisation at the Assembly constituency level in Coimbatore as part of its initial expansion.
In addition, Dhanush has reportedly been holding consultations with office-bearers at regular intervals, suggesting a gradual effort to strengthen the organisation.
Dhanush in Delhi for Political Consultations?
Speculation intensified following reports that Dhanush had travelled to Delhi and held consultations with prominent individuals. While the nature of these reported meetings remains unclear, they have prompted questions about the actor’s possible next steps and whether he is considering a political career.
The reports have gained further attention following Aadhav Arjuna’s remarks about actors allegedly planning their political moves from the national capital.
