RJ Balaji Who Made A Career Out Of Trolling Films And Supported Politically Motivated Protests Wants Political Netizens To Not Roast Films, Fears Being ‘Branded’ For Showing Indian Flag

RJ Balaji Who Made A Career Out Of Trolling Films And Supported Politically Motivated Protests Wants Political Netizens To Not Roast Films, Fears Being 'Branded' For Showing Indian Flag

RJ Balaji, a radio jockey-turned-actor who virtue-signalled as a rebel when the AIADMK was ruling Tamil Nadu and went mute after the DMK rose to power, has said that political netizens should stick to doing politics and not waste their energy on targeting films and making it a flop.

His comments come in light of another member of his ilk, the virtue-signalling actor Suriya, facing a humiliating disaster at the box office with the pan-Indian flop Kanguva.

He even said that he was afraid of posing with an Indian flag as people may ‘brand’ him as something – likely hinting at being labelled a nationalist or a BJP or Narendra Modi supporter.

At the trailer launch of his film ‘Sorgavasal’, RJ Balaji said, “Finally, I just have one thing to say. I’m terrified nowadays. There was an Indian flag outside. If I think of taking it in hand and posing [for a photo], I start worrying, ‘Ayiyo! Will they brand me as ‘someone’, ‘What if people say something?’. At first, I thought, “It’s just an Indian flag, and I’m an Indian, right?”. But then I think, what if people say something!

He said that when he posted a poster announcing the trailer’s launch on social media, people started roasting him and his film producer/distributor SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures, who was earlier with Studio Green, the production house that produced the mega disaster Kanguva.

SR Prabhu is said to be a relative of Suriya and the Vice President of the Tamil Film Active Producers Council, which had called for a ban on YouTubers reviewing films and taking audience feedback from theatre premises. When this was pointed out by a Vijay fan online, SR Prabhu had said “Hello brother, you guys are crying for 5 years for the one hit we gave. There’s a lot of public work for you now. Go stand with your ‘Annan’ and do the next task. He’s a good man. Don’t go around spoiling his name.” SR Prabhu claimed the success of Kaithi, produced by his Dream Warrior Pictures, over Vijay’s film Bigil, both of which were released for Diwali 2019.

It is noteworthy to mention that RJ Balaji will be directing the wannabe pan-Indian actor Suriya’s next film tentatively titled “Suriya 45” which is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures.

In their angst against SR Prabhu, they’re scolding me. I’m wondering why they scold me, but then they’re scolding me because they’re angry with him. If I look at this side, people scold me because of their anger against someone else. Then there’s another group that says that I’m a ‘paavadai’ [a term used to denote proselytizing missionaries] and therefore should target my film.“, he said, adding that he’s not a ‘paavadai’ but ‘veshti’, attempting to sound smart.

He said that he never understood at first about what ‘paavadai’ means. However, the ‘paavadai’ jibe against him comes as he lacked the spine to retain a scene mocking proselytization attempts by Christian missionaries in his movie Mookuthi Amman. The scene showed ‘jeba koottam’ (prayer meeting) shenanigans of missionaries where Mano Bala, playing a pastor, indulges in ‘healing’ through CDs.

RJ Balaji further went on to say “I’m not a ‘paavadai’. Since I’m not a ‘paavadai’, some may think that I’m a ‘sanghi’ [a term used to denote Hindutva supporter]. I’m not a ‘sanghi’ either. Be it the IT wing of any party or any side, I’ve only one request. You guys do politics. You look at your politics. Why are you wasting your energy on targeting films that release every week? Are you getting money credited to your PayTM account for that? Go and fight among your politicians. Leave the films free. Likewise, it’s the same for fans of actors – Rajini fans, Kamal fans, Ajith fans, Vijay fans, Suriya fans. Let’s all watch good films. If you don’t like a film, you can say it. Everybody has the right. But targeting one film based on one’s preferences or because this person made this comment is a lot of energy waste for you. If the film is not good you can say it. But targeting and hitting is a little scary for me. I’m neither a ‘paavadai’, ‘pant-shirt’, ‘sanghi’ or ‘oopi’ [a term to denote DMK suporter] and neither I am a fan of anyone.

However, this statement completely contradicted what he had said a few minutes ago in the same speech.

From 2006-07, I am saying the same thing. If we take a biscuit to sell in a shop, anybody can say whether that biscuit is good or bad. Because that item has gone out of our hands. Likewise, it’s the same for cinema once we place it in the market. One can say it like ‘this biscuit is not nice’, another can say ‘Chi! Is this even a biscuit?’ Another person can write a mail for 10 pages saying, ‘This biscuit is stale. ‘ Everybody has their style. Anybody can review a film in any way. They can do it on YouTube, Twitter or Instagram. It’s their freedom. We can’t pluck the phone from everyone’s hand. We don’t have that control.“, RJ Balaji said in the same speech.

In a flop film titled ‘Kee’, he had peddled propaganda about GST, saying, “Shall I tell you a story, Siddharth sir? You and me go to the hotel to eat. But they’ll put a bill as if two other persons joined us. If we look at who it is, it would be GST! For whom? For what? Our stomach will burn!

RJ Balaji had called the NEET exam a very tough exam that furthers inequality.

He had virtue-signalled in 2018 by refraining from doing commentary for the CSK Vs KKR IPL match to protest against the Central Government over formation of Cauvery Water Management Board.

It is ironic that RJ Balaji, who had made a career out of criticizing films in his radio show and parroting DMK’s talk points on NEET, GST, Demonetization, Jallikattu, and Cauvery issues, is now jittered about his films and facing the wrath of netizens who are calling him out for his double standards.

With Priyanka Gandhi’s Poll Victory, 3 Members Of Gandhi Family Now In Parliament

With Priyanka Gandhi’s Poll Victory, 3 Members Of Gandhi Family Now In Parliament

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s resounding victory in the Wayanad by-poll is not only her successful electoral debut but a milestone in Indian politics. For the first time, three members of the Nehru-Gandhi family are simultaneously in the Parliament.

While Priyanka Gandhi will enter the Lok Sabha, where her brother Rahul Gandhi – the former Wayanad MP – is present as the MP from family borough Rae Bareli, which he chose to retain after winning both in the Lok Sabha elections this year, their mother Sonia Gandhi is a member of the Rajya Sabha.

The bypoll in Wayanad was necessitated after Rahul Gandhi vacated the seat. The only talking point during the campaign was whether Priyanka Gandhi could surpass her brother’s impressive 2019 victory margin of 4.30 lakh votes.

Although she fell slightly short, she still achieved a remarkable win, securing the seat with a margin of over 4.10 lakh votes. Her dynamic campaign, focused on grassroots issues, underscored her growing influence within the Congress.

This marks a significant step for Priyanka Gandhi, aligning her political journey with her mother Sonia Gandhi and brother Rahul Gandhi, both pivotal figures in the Congress party. Sonia Gandhi’s parliamentary career began in 1999, winning from Amethi (Uttar Pradesh) and Bellary (Karnataka).

She chose to retain Amethi, later shifting her base to Rae Bareli in 2004, a constituency she represented until 2019. Her nearly two-decade tenure saw multiple wins, though she briefly relinquished her membership in 2006 due to an office of profit controversy. In 2024, Sonia Gandhi moved to the Rajya Sabha.

Rahul Gandhi entered politics in 2004, contesting from Amethi, a traditional family stronghold, and went on to retain it in 2009 and 2014. He, however, lost the seat in 2019 to BJP’s Smriti Irani but retained his position in Parliament by winning from Wayanad. Priyanka Gandhi’s parliamentary debut comes at a critical juncture for Congress, as it grapples with the political dominance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Her presence in the Lok Sabha adds a new dimension to the party’s strategy, particularly in the South. Critics may reignite debates over dynastic politics, but her supporters highlight her strong public connect and articulate advocacy of grassroots issues. Her entry signals a renewed hope for Congress in regions where its campaigns have recently shown promise.

For Wayanad, Priyanka Gandhi’s victory is more than a win; it symbolizes a fresh opportunity to bolster Congress’ position in the South, amplifying her political journey on a national stage.

R. Madhavan Recollects Flying Solo, Getting Royal Treatment By Airport, Airline Staff

Actor R. Madhavan, who is known for ‘Alai Payuthey’, ‘Rang De Basanti’, ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Vikram Vedha’ and others, is reminiscing about his days from the Covid-19 pandemic when he could travel solo and get a royal treatment.

On Saturday, the actor took to his Instagram and shared a throwback video where he could be seen strolling around an empty airport. The video shows the actor being the only flyer at the airport, security check and the airport luxury lounge.

The actor funnily remarked that he was sitting in a lavish bhoot bangla. He wrote in the caption, “Incredible yet forgettable days.” Earlier this month, the actor unveiled the highly-anticipated first look from his upcoming film, Adhirshtasaali, which marks his return to Tamil cinema.

He wrote in the caption, “Proudly unveiling the first look of my film #Adhirshtasaali. Directed by @MithranRJawahar, this has been an awesome and unforgettable journey. #AdhirshtasaaliFirstLook”. The poster presents a split screen showcasing two contrasting versions of Madhavan. On one side, he appears as a wealthy businessman with a developed city in the background. Conversely, he looks like a concerned commoner, set against a countryside landscape. ‘Adhirshtasaali’ is directed by Mithran Jawahar, known for helming films like ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’ and ‘Thiruchitrambalam’. Meanwhile, the actor will share the screen with Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Aditya, and Arjun Rampal in a yet-to-be-titled film.

Ranveer described the film as a “big motion picture adventure.” Aditya Dhar, known for Uri: The Surgical Strike, will helm the film. Earlier, a video of the actor from Diwali celebrations went viral. The video, which showed a clean-shaven actor, grabbed eyeballs as netizens commented about him suddenly going 20 years back in time just by doing a simple, clean shave.

Roads Blocked With Containers, Army Called In As Pakistan Seals Capital Islamabad Ahead Of PTI Protest

Roads Blocked With Containers, Army Called In As Pakistan Seals Capital Islamabad Ahead Of PTI Protest

Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, has been turned into a fortress yet again ahead of a major anti-government protest rally announced by Imran Khan, the country’s former premier and founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, on Sunday.

Anticipating chaos and violence, the ruling government has blocked all roads leading to the capital with shipping containers, deployed additional paramilitary forces and imposed Section 144 for at least two months, prohibiting any public gathering in Islamabad.

As per the latest updates, at least 37 different points and routes towards Islamabad have been blocked, six motorways completely shut down for any traffic movement and the Pakistan Army called in to secure the Red Zone of the capital that includes diplomatic enclave, parliament, president’s house, Supreme Court of Pakistan, foreign office and other government buildings.

Internet and mobile services have also been suspended in Islamabad and its twin city Rawalpindi besides suspension of public transport services. The government led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has made it clear that no one would be allowed to spread unrest in the capital and strict action would be taken against miscreants.

The PTI protest has been called at a time when a 60-member advanced delegation from Belarus is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on Sunday ahead of Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko’s Pakistan visit, beginning November 25. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who has been in jail for over one year, has called on his party members and supporters to take to the streets in huge numbers and storm the capital demanding his release.

The party claims that Khan has been put behind the bars in concocted and fabricated cases. Besides his release, the PTI is also demanding return of the mandate stolen on February 8 and nullifying of the 26th Constitutional Amendment which paves way for extension in office for the sitting Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir and others.

While the federal government has imposed strict security measures in the capital, the Punjab government has also imposed Section 144 in the province, and has warned PTI supporters and leaders of serious consequences if they try to spread violence. Azma Bukhari, spokesperson for the Punjab government, slammed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for using government machinery for political motives and anti-state agendas. “CM KP Gandapur does not even care about the security situation in his province. He is least bothered about the situation in Kurram where so many people have died. In fact, he is using his office to spread only one political agenda which is the release of Imran Khan,” said Bukhari.

“Imran Khan, his so called non-political wife and their loudspeaker CM KP Gandapur want to see innocent lives lost in violent clashes in these protests. They want to see people die for their own vested political agendas. Imran Khan’s sons and illegitimate daughter are living comfortably in the UK, his wife Bushra Bibi’s sons and daughters are living comfortably in their homes, and they are calling on sons and daughters of innocent locals to spread violence. It shows that all they want is bloodshed,” she added.

PTI maintains that it would go ahead with Sunday’s protest even though there seems to be a clear division within the party with several members voicing concerns about possible arrests, crackdown and violence, which has forced them to stay in hiding.

Bihar Bypolls: NDA Bags All Four Seats, Mahagathbandhan Suffers Big Defeat

Bihar Bypolls: NDA Bags All Four Seats, Mahagathbandhan Suffers Big Defeat

In the high-stakes battle for Bihar by-polls, the Mahagathbandhan of Congress and RJD suffered defeat in all four assembly constituencies.

After the counting concluded, the poll officials declared the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) victorious in all four constituencies – Ramgarh, Tarari, Imamganj, and Belaganj. In Belaganj, JD(U)’s Manorama Devi secured a decisive win over RJD’s Vishwanath Kumar Singh by a margin of 21,391 votes, breaking RJD’s three-decade-long grip on the seat.

This victory came as significant blow to the RJD, which had held the seat since the 1990s. Meanwhile, in Tarari, the BJP celebrated a historic win, marking its first-ever victory in this constituency. Vishal Prashant, son of powerful leader Sunil Pandey, triumphed over CPI(ML)’s Raju Yadav by 10,612 votes.

The contest in Imamganj saw Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi’s daughter-in-law, Deepa Manjhi, continuing the family’s political legacy by defeating RJD’s Roshan Manjhi by 5,945 votes. Jan Suraj’s candidate, Jitendra Paswan, finished third, securing 37,103 votes. Ramgarh witnessed a nail-biting race, where BJP’s Ashok Singh edged out BSP’s Satish alias Pintu Yadav by just 1,362 votes.

The contest was particularly tense as RJD’s Ajit Singh, son of state president Jagdanand Singh and brother of MP Sudhakar Singh, came third, leaving the counting hall midway in disappointment. These by-elections, which took place on November 13, are seen as a semi-final ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.

With 38 candidates’ reputations at stake, the results have dealt a blow to the opposition INDIA alliance, led by the RJD. The biggest blow for the INDIA bloc came in Belaganj, where they lost a seat that had been a bastion of their power for over 30 years, signalling a shift in the political landscape of Bihar. In the recently held Assembly by-polls, the average voter turnout stood at 52.84 per cent with no incidents of disturbance or violence.

After MVA’s Demolition, The 15th Maharashtra Assembly May Not Have LoP

After MVA's Demolition, The 15th Maharashtra Assembly May Not Have LoP

The newly elected 15th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly may function without the Leader of Opposition (LoP). As per the legislative rules, a party with 10 per cent of the 288 seats or 29 seats can claim the post.

Accordingly, either Shiv Sena(UBT) or Congress need to get 29 seats to be eligible for the post. However, the present trends show that the MVA parties may fall short.

As per the latest trends, Shiv Sena(UBT) was leading in 20 seats, Congress in 19 and NCP(SP) in 12 seats. This means neither Shiv Sena(UBT) nor Congress will be in a position to stake claim over the LoP post. The Leader of Opposition’s post cannot be bagged based on the combined strength of opposition parties, as per the rules.

This is probably the first time since the first Assembly came into existence in the state in 1960 that there will be no LoP. It will be a major embarrassment for the Maha Vikas Aghadi as none of its constituents will be able to get the post. This means that the seat next to the deputy speaker in the front row on the opposition benches will lay vacant in the newly elected state Assembly.

During the 14th Assembly, Ajit Pawar was appointed as the LoP after the Shiv Sena-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government collapsed. However, after Ajit Pawar joined the MahaYuti, the Congress legislator Vijay Wadettiwar became the LoP. It will be similar to the 16th Lok Sabha which did not have a Leader of Opposition. According to Parliament rules, the biggest Opposition party in the House has to have at least 10 per cent of the total strength of the Lok Sabha, or 55 seats, to be eligible for the post of Leader of Opposition.

No party had that number in the 16th Lok Sabha (June 2014 to February 2019). The Congress, with 44 MPs, emerged as the largest Opposition party, closely followed by J. Jayalalithaa’s AIADMK, at 37. There was no LoP in the Lok Sabha during the Prime Ministerships of Jawaharlal Nehru and Rajiv Gandhi, when the Congress enjoyed a brute majority in the Lok Sabha, and the Opposition space had shrunk considerably.

Pakistan Braces For More Sectarian Bloodshed After Killing Of 43 Shias

Pakistan Braces For More Sectarian Bloodshed After Killing Of 43 Shias

The situation in the Kurram district of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province remains extremely tense, with a major surge in sectarian violence and bloodshed expected in the entire region as the proscribed Shia organisation Zainebiyoun Brigade has vowed to avenge Thursday’s killing of 43 Shia Muslims by unidentified gunmen.

Several incidents of violence have been reported from across the country since Friday, with angry protesters targeting passenger vehicles, ambulances and police mobiles after the massacre of Shia Muslims who were ambushed and killed while travelling from Parachinar – a Shia-dominated area – to Peshawar.

Condemning the killings, angry protestors have set trucks on fire, stoned police vehicles and blocked army convoy routes. They are also blaming the government for its failure to ensure the restoration of law and order and the maintenance of peace.

Locals fear that the killings have angered Iran-backed Shia militant group Zainebiyoun, which could now set those villages on fire from where the gunmen had attacked the convoys of victims.

The Shia-dominated Parachinar area, which has seen bloody confrontational clashes with the surrounding areas of the Sunni majority in the past, is witnessing a complete shutdown of markets and educational institutions with violent protests being taken out by the locals.

Till now, at least two security checkpoints have been set ablaze while roads have been blocked by stones and burning tyres. “This region has suffered severely due to sectarian violence.

After the killings, threats are being issued that the killings would be avenged by setting on fire all those villages in the surrounding mountains from where the gunmen had opened fire on the vehicles. They want to kill everyone residing in these villages,” said a local Parachinar resident.

The protesters in Parachinar are also demanding to open the border with Afghanistan immediately amid fast worsening situation, shortage of food, medicines, fuel and oxygen.

A Shia organisation and political party Majis Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM) has put forward demands to the government, including activating the Parachinar airport due to unsafe roads and the starting of free shuttle service between Parachinar and Peshawar via PIA or air force planes. MWM has also called for replacement of federal forces by local Kurram militia.

The protestors have warned if their demands are ignored by the provincial and federal government then they would be forced to seek international help by human rights organisations and even the United Nations.

Mahayuti’s Ladki Bahin Brahmastra Demolishes MVA In Maharashtra

Mahayuti's Ladki Bahin Brahmastra Demolishes MVA In Maharashtra

The Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana has proved to be a game changer for the MahaYuti alliance of BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP in the Maharashtra Assembly elections.

Despite the opposition terming it a ‘bribe’ to the women, the MahaYuti made special efforts to promote the scheme by organising functions across the state. Each of the over 2.36 crore eligible women beneficiaries received Rs 7,500 (Rs 1,500 each for five months from July to November) and they overwhelmingly supported the MahaYuti.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in his reaction admitted that the Ladki Bahin Yojana had done wonders for MahaYuti resulting in resounding performance. Incidentally, the women and child development department headed by NCP Minister Aditi Tatkare and her team strived to make the scheme a great success as it was implemented smoothly without major errors. Of the total 9.70 crore voters, 6.40 crore voters cast their votes in November.

Of the 6.40 crore voters, 3.06 crore were women and 3.34 crore men. The MahaYuti’s pro-women campaign worked as they came in a large number to vote. The women voters responded positively to MahaYuti’s assurance to increase the monthly aid to Rs 2,100.

The Chief Minister during a series of rallies announced that the MahaYuti government after being voted to power will increase the monthly aid in phases to Rs 3,000.

On the other hand, Maha Vikas Aghadi’s promise of monthly aid of Rs 4,000 under the Mahalakshmi Yojana did not enthuse the women voters much. Women voters showed by voting in large numbers that they were happy with the MahaYuti’s fulfilment of its promise and its resolve to continue to the Ladki Bahin Yojana after coming to power again.

They were not prepared to wait for Maha Vikas Aghadi’s aid of Rs 4,000. The MahaYuti leaders, including Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Dy CMs Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, strongly projected that Maha Vikas Aghadi would close down all welfare and development schemes launched by the MahaYuti government.

CM Shinde and his two deputies also rubbished the opposition’s claim that the Ladki Bahin Yojana would be wound up as it was an election ‘jumla’. The Chief Minister and two Dy CMs reiterated that the welfare and development schemes have been launched considering the state’s financial condition by making adequate allocation.

The government has earmarked Rs 46,000 crore for Ladki Bahin Yojana during 2004-25. On the other hand, Maha Vikas Aghadi failed to create magic with its promise of Rs 4,000 aid.

MahaVikas Aghadi went on to criticise the state government over the rising fiscal deficit which was reported at Rs 2.30 lakh crore and public debt of over Rs 7.82 lakh crore cautioning that the state is heading for a major financial crisis.

However, it did not work in its favour as the women voters and the beneficiaries of other welfare and development schemes seem to have been convinced that the state government is in a position to mobilise necessary resources internally and also with the strong backing of the Centre.

With State Elections Over, Indian Stock Market Heads For Stability

Indian Firms Raise Over ₹3 Lakh Crore From Stock Market In 2024

Most of the state elections are now over, and the market may find stability as government spending will improve in the coming months to meet the FY25 capex target, market experts said on Saturday.

The Indian benchmark indices recouped the current week’s losses on Friday with a strong bounce back as investors used the bargain opportunity to accumulate beaten-down stocks.

Sensex closed at 79,117.11 this week after gaining 1,961.32 points, or 2.54 per cent, and Nifty closed at 23,907.25 with a gain of 557.35 points, or 2.39 per cent. The rally in financial stocks and strong US labour market data were among the factors that drove the Sensex and Nifty up more than 2 per cent.

A rally in blue-chip bank stocks also helped the benchmark indices jump in Friday’s trade. “Many of the blue chips are available at below-average valuations, while meaningful corrections in mid- and small-cap indices provide an opportunity for broad-based momentum,” said experts.

Sectors like realty, FMCG, auto, consumption, banks, and IT gained more than 2 per cent According to Krishna Appala from Capitalmind Research, opportunities exist in specific sectors and broader themes that hold long-term potential, particularly in areas that have experienced significant price adjustments but remain fundamentally strong.

“Investors are cautiously adding to positions in areas that offer greater clarity on earnings visibility, especially where the longer-term structural story remains intact. While patience is essential, the sector’s adjusted valuations make it an area worth monitoring closely,” Appala maintained.

In the broader market, corrections are creating opportunities to accumulate quality stocks with strong fundamentals and resilience to macroeconomic pressures.

Despite global challenges, India’s long-term growth story remains compelling. “Investors should focus on sectors aligned with structural themes such as urbanisation, infrastructure, and consumption growth. Strategic portfolio adjustments, disciplined investing, and a long-term perspective are critical to navigating the current environment,” said experts.

On Friday, all sectoral indices ended in the green with Nifty IT surging over 3 per cent. Buying emerged at lower levels in blue-chip stocks causing several index heavy-weights to gain significantly.

“On Monday, the market will react to the outcome of state assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand along with other global triggers including developments in the Russia-Ukraine war,” said Siddhartha Khemka, Head – Research, Wealth Management, Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd.

People Voted For Ideology, Rejected Dynasty: BJP Leader Sudhanshu Trivedi On ‘Maha’ Victory

After MVA's Demolition, The 15th Maharashtra Assembly May Not Have LoP

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi welcomed MahaYuti’s resounding mandate in the Maharashtra Assembly polls and said that this was a mandate for ideology and principles that the party constantly endeavours to bring into political discourse.

Trivedi told IANS about the Maharashtra results: ” The People of Maharashtra have clearly chosen ideology over dynastic politics.”

He further stated, “The results we are witnessing so far in Maharashtra are spectacularly in favour of the BJP and the Mahayuti. The BJP is headed for its best-ever performance in the state. The primary reasons for this success are the remarkable developmental work undertaken by the government, the relentless efforts and dedication of the government, the excellent leadership at the state level, and most importantly, the credibility of Prime Minister Narendra Modi amongst the people.”

The BJP leader further emphasised that this election was a decisive battle between “Vichar ki Virasat” (legacy of ideals) and “Parivar ki Virasat” (legacy of family).

“We often use the term ‘Vichar Parivar’ (family and ideals). This election was about deciding whether the mandate would go to the legacy of ideals or the legacy of a family. The people of Maharashtra have made it crystal clear—they have blessed the legacy of ideals while rejecting those who, abandoning principles and centering everything around family,” he remarked.

Hours ago, Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena President Eknath Shinde also expressed gratitude to the people of Maharashtra for the landslide mandate and offered special thanks to ‘Ladke Bahin (beloved sisters)’ and ‘Ladka Bhau (beloved Bhau)’ for the overwhelming support. “What we worked on for the last two and half years, we will now do in the next five years,” he said in his first reaction.

“This is a huge mandate, landslide and historical victory,” he claimed. Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra also took to X and wrote, “Ek hain to safe hain! Modi hai to mumkin hai!”
