Cockroach Party ‘Founder’ Abhijeet Dipke’s Social Media Posts Reveal The Holes In His Boston University Timeline

Cockroach party ‘founder’ Abhijeet Dipke’s American university credentials are increasingly under the scanner, thanks to netizens.

An examination of social media posts and academic records has revealed discrepancies in the timeline of Abhijeet Dipke, who claims to be a Boston University graduate student and was vocal about Indian political affairs while pursuing his Master of Science in Public Relations at the university’s College of Communication.

According to Dipke’s admission letter dated 31 May 2024, he was accepted into the three-semester program with a Dean’s Scholarship of $12,500 per semester.

The academic schedule for the program shows the first semester running from 3 September to 20 December 2024, the second semester from 21 January to 9 May 2025, and the final semester from 2 September to 19 December 2025.

Timeline Inconsistencies

On 24 August 2024, Dipke posted on social media thanking Manish Sisodia and stating he was “Leaving for Boston” with guidance from the AAP leader. This aligned with the expected start of his first semester.

However, on 27 September 2024, Dipke was in Mohali, Punjab, according to a complaint he posted about a failed food delivery order from LaPino’s Pizza in Phase 10, Mohali. This location is approximately 11,000 kilometers from Boston, suggesting he had returned to India shortly after arriving in the United States.

By 18 November 2024, Dipke’s social media activity indicated he was back in the United States, where he commented on working hours in America.

Second Semester Discrepancy

The second semester commenced on 21 January 2025. However, on 3 February 2025, Dipke posted about the AAP election campaign in Delhi, stating, “As the campaign comes to an end today, I am really proud of how AAP has fought this election.” A reply to his post mentioned that he “came all the way from US just to assist the party & campaign.”

Third Semester and Beyond

During the final semester (2 September 2 to 19 December 2025), Dipke’s posts confirmed his presence in Boston, including a 4 November 2025, post about Boston and a 20 September 2025, inquiry about Real Madrid Club de Fútbol meetups in the city.

According to the academic timeline, Dipke’s course concluded on 19 December 2025.

However, he did not return to India until June 2026, raising questions about his activities during the six-month period following his program’s completion.

Academic Context

The Boston University College of Communication is located on Commonwealth Avenue, approximately two kilometers from the Albert Einstein Institution, which has been associated with teaching CANVAS courses on ‘nonviolent resistance and civil resistance strategies’. Is this a coincidence?

Additionally, Joan Donovan, a researcher known for work on media manipulation and author of “Meme Wars,” has been affiliated with Boston University.

Dipke’s course curriculum reportedly included subjects such as political campaigns, social media strategy, and public relations in nonprofit settings.

Political Affiliation Questions

Despite claims of having left the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in 2023, Dipke’s posts from August 2024, February 2025, and his continued association with AAP figures suggest ongoing involvement with the party. His February 2025 post explicitly stated, “The never-say-die attitude is what truly defines the AAP,” and he responded to a supporter saying, “The least I could’ve done. Victory shall be ours.”
