The New Indian has reported that the Congress lied about its former president and disqualified Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi from being a visiting fellow at the prestigious Cambridge University, citing certain documents obtained by them.
Cambridge University confirmed to The New Indian via email on Friday that Rahul is not a Visiting Fellow at the Cambridge Judge Business School. This will further humiliate Congress and Rahul, who have already been humiliated by Rahul’s disqualification from Parliament as a result of his conviction by the Surat court.
Cambridge University said in its response to New Indian said, “We confirm this letter is authentic. We assume that you will not publish the name of the individual as part of your story, whose role is to answer FOI requests in line with UK legislation, and the letter is in no way a ‘personal’ reply from her.”
Earlier, the congress party claimed that Rahul Gandhi was a visiting fellow at Cambridge in a tweet on February 16 and March 2 – the day when Rahul Gandhi delivered his speech criticizing Indian democracy at the Cambridge Judge Business School. In contrast to what Congress claims, a recent email from Cambridge reveals that he is an Honorary Non-Visiting Fellow at the Cambridge Judge Business School.
The Congress had shown Rahul as a Fellow (Finance) at Cambridge during his February-March visit to the UK. However, according to The New Indian, an anonymous University alumnus has now informed that “Rahul Gandhi is the only Honorary Non-Visiting Fellow in Finance who has absolutely no relevant qualifications or experience in the field of finance.”
According to an alumni source of The New Indian, “Rahul Gandhi in no specific measure has any “significant general contribution” in the field of finance. It is even farcical to attempt to defend him on this count by anyone, least of all, the University of Cambridge. So, the only criteria for his appointment as a fellow of finance is that he teaches a “substantial part” of a finance course. Instead, Rahul Gandhi began and centered most of his lecture around the Bharat Jodo Yatra. It is outrageous, to think that he holds an academic position in finance and ends up discussing his failing political project in India.”
He added,”It was a clear bluff by both Congress and Rahul to hoodwink the Indian masses that he was holding the event at the prestigious institution at their invitation. The truth is neither he is a fellow in Finance, nor Cambridge has ever extended any such invitation to him. This is called the Gandhi privilege that when you don’t attend a University or a college, you can still tom it as a degree and use phony credentials to build a case against own country and attempt to topple an elected government.”
Priyanka Gandhi made similar false claims on March 26 about the academic accomplishments of her brother, claiming that despite being derided by the BJP as “Pappu,” he has degrees from prestigious universities like Harvard and Cambridge.According to Priyanka, her brother holds an M.Phil. in Economics from Cambridge.
Priyanka Gandhi said, “Duniya ke sabse do bade siksha ke sansthan hai, woh waha se padhke aaye hai. Harvard aur Cambridge ki unki degree hai. Cambridge se unhe Economics me Masters Degree … M.phil degree unko mili hai (Rahul Gandhi has studied at two of the most prestigious institutions in the world – Harvard and Cambridge. He has an M.phil in Economics from Cambridge).” Rahul’s election affidavit, however, states that he holds an M.Phil. in Development Studies from Trinity College, Cambridge, not in Economics.
The profiles of other people who have been offered the same position as Rahul Gandhi show that the other people have the necessary qualifications required to be a fellow of Finance at Cambridge.
Rahul’s illustrious academic background, including his completion of a Bachelor’s degree from St. Stephen’s, Post Graduate and doctorate degrees from Harvard and Cambridge respectively, as well as his schooling at the prestigious Doon School, has now come under suspicionfrom a number of independent politicians and academicians in India.
Amit Malviya, the BJP’s national IT cell chief, has questioned Priyanka’s lie about Rahul Gandhi’s educational claim, raising doubts about whether he actually attended these institutions. “None of Rahul Gandhi’s election affidavits mention a degree from Harvard. Priyanka Vadra, just like her disqualified brother, is lying. Is there anything about the family that is not fake?” he said.

It’s a double whammy for Jagan Reddy and his YSRCP. Trouble’s brewing for him and his party, ahead of next year’s state elections. Recent ‘graduate’ MLC elections as well as ‘MLA quota’ MLC elections have exposed chinks in the hitherto tough armor of the YSRCP.
The opposition TDP party managed to spring electoral surprises with a handful of unexpected wins amongst speculations of an anti-YSRCP wave in the state, infighting among the ranks, a trust deficit among the party’s leaders, and bold cross-voting for the opposition’s candidates in a recent MLC election, followed by Nellore YSRCP rebel Sridhar Reddy and his brother Giridhar Reddy officially joining the TDP party, last week. Lately, rumours of a few possible defections have also been plaguing the party.
SC Rejects Jagan Reddy Government’s Plea For Three Capitals
While the YSRCP was beginning to take stock of ground realities and challenges ahead of next year’s elections, the Supreme Court (SC) has dealt another blow to its collective confidence and morale. The top Court of the country has refused to accept the Jagan Reddy government’s plea for an overhaul of the Andhra Pradesh High Court’s verdict against the government’s grandiose albeit impractical idea of three capitals for the state. The high court had, in March of last year, ruled in favour of the proposed single capital city of “Amaravathi” near the Vijayawada-Guntur region, envisioned by the previous TDP government, the arch-political nemesis of the current government.
The proposed new city of Amaravathi by the previous chief minister and TDP leader, N Chandrababu Naidu had widely received support from the people of the state as they trusted his vision of a new, modern, efficient, smart city built with the help of experts from nations like Singapore. The people of the state trusted his vision for a world-class Indian state capital for Andhra, as Chandrababu Naidu had previously proven himself to be a visionary, a good administrator, and a man capable of bringing business development to the state, in his earlier stints as chief minister of the larger, undivided state of Andhra Pradesh, now divided into Telangana and the residual Andhra. Naidu is widely accepted and credited across both Telugu states for his modern vision of Hyderabad and his proven ability in bringing top businesses to the city and state.
Amaravathi
Naidu’s search for a new capital city for a new state led him to consider ‘Amaravathi’, with its ancient and historic Buddhist and Hindu heritage. However, he needed to acquire land around it to build a modern city on the lines of Singapore and Hong Kong. Apart from small tracts of government/public land in and around Amaravathi, the lands surrounding it were fertile agricultural fields belonging to the farmers of the region, both big and small. Naidu’s ingenious plan of convincing the farmers to sacrifice some of their lands for the development of a state capital… in return for a fair annual “rental” income from the state and a share in the city’s future earnings, made him a leader able to accomplish a unique private-public partnership in the development of a brand new capital city of grand proportions.
The foundation stone for the capital city was laid by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in January 2018. A blueprint was drawn up and development work was well underway along with the expansion of the Vijayawada airport when he unexpectedly lost the 2019 election to Jagan Reddy’s YSRCP. Since taking over in 2019, many have criticised Reddy for what appears to be a personal vendetta to dismantle the work already completed in the newly established capital city of Amaravathi. The High Court complex was completed in record time, several accommodations for government officials were either already built or close to completion, and many roads were already laid out with more infrastructure en route to completion. However, Reddy insisted on discontinuing the ambitious project of the state’s previous chief minister and announced the shifting of an already established capital at a massive cost to the new state’s exchequer.
Court Sides With Farmers And Ordinary Citizens
When he was questioned on it, he came up with an impractical three-capital theory- one each for the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches of the government in three different corners of Andhra Pradesh (Amaravathi, Visakhapatnam, and Kurnool respectively), citing equitable development. Most people questioned his personal and political motives against an impractical proposal. Additionally, ordinary citizens and farmers of the Amaravati region that had already sacrificed their lands for the state’s capital and signed a legally binding agreement with the state government rebelled against a change of plans. Thousands of ordinary people that had lost their lands in good faith to an Indian state, filed several cases against the YSRCP government and appealed strongly against Reddy’s three-capital theory and implementation.
Since their first case in the courts, ordinary citizens have been winning their appeals in the A.P High Court, considering the sensitive humanitarian issues involved and Legal Implications of the cases involving the fundamental rights of citizens and the disqualification or dishonouring of legally binding documents signed by both the citizens and the state government.
A Personal Embarrassment
As Jagan Reddy and his YSRCP try to get their house in order before next year’s state elections, the Supreme Court’s refusal in considering their three-capital appeal is yet another significant setback. The top court has postponed the case to July and has made it clear that they would like to hear the government’s case in the context of the farmers’ cases opposing it. This is somewhat of a personal embarrassment to Jagan Reddy who had recently announced that the capital would be moved soon and that he would start working from Visakhapatnam, the proposed capital for the state’s executive branch, from July onwards.
While the TDP won the new bifurcated AP state elections in 2014, it lost the 2019 elections to the YSRCP, which rode to power on a large wave of welfare scheme promises and consolidation of the minority vote. Jagan Reddy is famous for his 2019 electoral one-liner “give me one just chance”. The people gave him his first chance but his relative lack of experience in a state’s administration, financial management, and budget balancing, has resulted in much criticism and discontent across the state. Jagan Reddy’s 2019 battle cry “give me one chance” is now something of a satirical expression with opposition leaders in A.P and Telangana using the same tagline in their election rallies, in an appeal to defeat the incumbent governments in both states.

Vijayawada: A recent resolution passed in the Andhra Pradesh state assembly, proposing to extend Scheduled Caste (SC) reservation quotas to converted Dalit Christians, has prompted the state’s BJP unit to demand an annulment of the resolution and a clarification from the state government that no such resolution can be passed into Law until further clarity on the matter by the Supreme Court.
Assembly Passes Motion On SC Status For Converted Christians
The Andhra Pradesh assembly passed a Christian appeasement motion on March 24th, requesting the Centre to amend the Constitution (Scheduled Castes) Order, 1950, in extending SC status benefits to converted Christians within SC communities.
Andhra’s BJP leaders led by the state unit’s president, Somu Veerraju, called on the governor Mr. S. Abdul Nazeer, to seek his intervention with an irresponsible resolution passed by the chief minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, and his YSRCP, in light of the fact that there is no clarity yet on similar motions filed previously with the Supreme Court of India. There has been a strong case for extending a special status for benefits and reservations only to Hindu members of SC communities, as stated in the Constitution and this has been acknowledged by the Supreme Court in the past.
Hindu petitioners and parties like the BJP have argued that including converted Christians in the SC category and allowing them to benefit from special status, would go against the very intent of special benefits granted to lower caste Hindus, as envisioned by the writers of the Constitution. They worry that it would be heavily misused by Christian missionary organisations, already engaged in aggressive conversion activities at the cost of native religions, customs, and traditions. They also argue that the benefits would be grabbed up by the converted Christians with the help of church organisations and that it would result in a huge loss of assistance and upliftment of the Hindu SC communities that it was originally meant for.
The BJP has demanded that the Jagan Reddy government issue a public clarification to help people understand that this resolution would not be implemented until the issue is addressed by a constitutional bench of the Supreme Court, in the larger national context.
The Debate Over Extending Scheduled Caste Status Benefits To Converted Christians: A History Rooted In The Indian Constitution And Missionary Activities.
Over the years, there have been petitions filed in the Supreme Court for guidance and clarity around the possibility of extending constitutionally granted Scheduled Caste (SC) reservations and special status to members of the community, intended for followers of Hinduism and the other Indic/ native religions of Sikhism, Buddhism, and Jainism. The writers of the Constitution proposed to grant special status to Hindu/ Indic-faith SC citizens in an attempt to assuage the historic denial of opportunities and social discrimination within the Hindu society, which had followed a social class system determined by the caste that a person was born into. Non-Indic, non-native faiths did not follow this uniquely Indian form of class division, hence the writers of the Constitution envisioned extending special benefits exclusively to SC Hindu citizens for a few decades, in an attempt to set right, historic wrongs.
The Indian Constitution’s writers and advisors were already aware in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s, of the attempts of Christian missionary organisations in using the caste narrative to convert gullible, vulnerable people to Christianity, especially members of the SC communities across India.
Both Dr. Ambedkar and Gandhi as well as several other leaders of the time did not approve of the missionary tactics of Christian evangelist groups whose charitable activities served as a façade for an ulterior motive of converting economically and emotionally vulnerable people to Christianity, often citing Hinduism’s caste system.
Followers and admirers of both leaders have recorded their views on Christian missionary activities in India. Both leaders disapproved of Christian conversion tactics of maligning misinterpreted aspects of the native Hindu faith while simultaneously utilising financial incentives/ charitable activities to lure SC citizens. Ambedkar encouraged his fellow Dalits to consider an Indic religion like Buddhism instead of non-Indic faiths, carrying strong strains of religious fanaticism. Instead of promoting Christianity or Islam with his Dalit brethren looking for a change of faith, Ambedkar favoured an indigenous faith like Buddhism. Gandhi exhorted people to study their own religions deeply and follow their own religion’s principles in good faith without maligning other religions.
Jagan Reddy’s Push To Include Converted Christians In Scheduled Caste Benefits And Expand ST List
Incidentally, Jagan Reddy and his family are converted Christians including his father, Y.S Rajashekara Reddy, a former chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh. His father had stirred a similar controversy during his tenure when he had talked of including Christian converts as beneficiaries to reservations and welfare schemes earmarked for members of the ST and Hindu SC communities. Andhra and Telangana Hindus have repeatedly said that Christian conversion activities in the Telugu states had increased substantially during Rajasekhara Reddy’s stint as chief minister. Both Jagan Reddy and his father enjoyed significant electoral (and many claim, financial support) of the Christians and Christian organisations in the state.
Jagan Reddy won his first election in Andhra’s 2019 state elections, riding on a strong, united minority electorate and a divided Hindu vote bank that he managed to split across caste lines. Andhra’s principal opposition party, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), and its likely ally, the Jana Sena Party (JSP) along with the state’s BJP are hoping to keep the Hindu vote bank united across caste lines, in the 2024 state elections.
In addition to the controversial SC resolution, the Andhra Pradesh assembly also passed a ‘copycat’ resolution mimicking a recent Telangana government proposal, to include the Boya/Valmiki community in the state’s list of Scheduled Tribes (ST). The YSRCP is now trying to assure the currently listed ST and SC communities that their special quotas would not be impacted or diminished by adding new groups to the already bloated list of castes and tribes specified in the state’s current official listing.

On Thursday (November 24), the former Commanding officer of the Technical Support Division (TSD) of the Indian Army revealed how Lt. Colonel Shrikant Prasad Purohit was implicated in the Malegaon Blast Case.
Colonel Hunny Bakshi made the revelations during a podcast with ANI News Director, Smita Prakash. On being asked about Lt. Colonel Purohit, he remarked, “Let me start by talking about Colonel Purohit as a person. He worked indirectly under me in South Kashmir between 2004-2005.”
“He is a 3rd generation army officer and that too a proud one. Very nationalist. The army did two inquiries, the first inquiry was one-sided so the court said that give him a chance,” Colonel Bakshi emphasised.
The Colonel further said, “And when he was given the chance, the army did not find anything against him. That’s a fact.” Colonel Hunny Bakshi then recounted the inquiries conducted against Lt. Colonel Purohit.
“Among all documents, he pulled out the one featuring his detailed plan about how he will go about the operation,” he said. He added that during the inquiry, a senior officer had accused Lt. Colonel Purohit of not following the mandate.
“If it was not in Army mandate, why didn’t you ask questions at the time of receiving inputs?” asked Colonel Hunny Bakshi. Two officers of the same unit had however pointed out that they were being briefed about the protocol followed by Lt. Colonel Purohit.
The retired army officer pointed out how conspiracy theories about ‘missing RDX’ were being flouted to build a foundation for the arrest of Lt. Colonel Purohit. He shared how a Mumbai ATS officer was seen rubbing an alleged explosive material on the floor of a ‘suspected’ house to frame Lt. Colonel Purohit
“The recovery itself becomes suspect on the ground that ATS Mumbai may have planted the RDX traces to implicate him and the accused persons in the case,” Colonel Hunny Bakshi read out the NIA charge sheet (page number 47-48).
Colonel Bakshi added, “This is all documented evidence… He is being implicated…When an agency briefs the army about such incidents, the latter becomes duty-bound to support the investigation”. He also pointed out that when a narrative is created in people’s minds, it takes time to dismantle it.
The 2008 Malegaon blast case
On September 29, 2008, bomb blasts took place in the Malegaon region of the Nashik district of Maharashtra which resulted in 6 deaths and 100 injuries.
Soon, Sadhvi Pragya Thakur and Lt Col Purohit were arrested in connection with the blast, and as a result terms like ‘Hindu terror’ or ‘Saffron terror’ were popularized by some politicians and Leftist media after their arrests.
They continued languishing in jails till April and August 2017, following which they were granted bail. As many as 235 witnesses have been deposed in the trial so far.
Many reports and statements by former bureaucrats had pointed out that Lt Col Purohit was maliciously framed, with planted ‘evidence’ by the former UPA government to fan the imaginary ‘saffron terror’ narrative and distract the public from the scams of the Congress-led government.
It is important to note that one of the blast accused named Sudhakar Chaturvedi in the year 2017 had told the NIA court that the Mumbai ATS had tried to frame the then BJP MP Yogi Adityanath and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on the behest of the Congress-NCP government.
Also, in the year 2021, one of the witnesses made similar statements against the Maharashtra ATS. The witness told the Special NIA court that he was threatened, tortured, and kept in illegal custody by the Mumbai ATS and forced to take the names of five Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) members including Yogi Adityanath, Indresh Kumar, Deodhar, and Kakaji.

It has now become highly predictable on every Hindu festival for commercial business houses to join ranks with the communist-Islamist-Christianist cabal to issue homilies to Hindus on how barbaric or environmentally polluting Hindu festivals are celebrated. It is a norm now for business houses to come up with advertisements on Deepavali sermonising Hindus to not burst firecrackers and newspaper columns filled with how pollution levels increase due to Deepavali. The same concern for air pollution vanishes when firecrackers are burst in huge quantities in Christian-dominated areas on Christmas or on New Year’s Eve. During Holi, Hindus are sermonized about not wasting water by the Bollywood mafia who have swimming pools in their homes in Mumbai, while many areas of the city starve for clean potable drinking water in summer. Thousands of trees are cut for Christmas and many more thousand plastic Christmas trees are used and dumped on streets with no preaching on environmental degradation and pollution by commercial business ads or PETA or the Bollywood mafia as it is not a Hindu festival. Likewise, millions of cattle and goats are slaughtered to appease Allah with the blood of the hapless animals oozing onto the ground or dumped in rivers which are again regarded as very humane, peaceful and environmentally friendly practices not meriting any sermons from the usual suspects!
Bharat Matrimony, a matrimonial website, went one step ahead and made an advertisement for Holi literally calling it a festival of sexual harassment, under the garb of giving out a message on International Women’s Day which coincided with Holi this year on March 7th.
The ad begins with a woman with her face covered with colours of Holi. She then proceeds to wash away the colors with water. Then her face is shown with a black eye and bruises on her face. This is followed by a written message stating, “Some colours don’t wash away easily. Harassment during Holi leads to immense trauma. Today, a third of these women who have faced this trauma have stopped playing Holi.”

Bharat Matrimony’s obnoxious Hinduphobic Holi ad is unmistakably aimed at demonizing Hindu festivals rather than speaking against physical assault or sexual harassment of women. Bharat Matrimony uses Hindu money to run anti-Hindu campaigns on Hindu festivals while eulogizing Bakra Eid as a peaceful festival.

Bharat Matrimony has nothing to say to stop institutionalized rape and prostitution in the form of Halala, Mutah and Misyar “marriages”.
Does it ask Muslim men to stop giving unilateral arbitrary non-judicial Islamic divorce in all forms of Talak and instant Triple Talak throwing out their wives from their lives and leaving her stranded with just 3 months of maintenance lesser than even compensation given by small dingy private companies firing its employees without any reason?
Does Bharat Matrimony advise Muslims not to “contract” more than one marriage with an already subsisting marriage? Does Bharat Matrimony promote polygamy by helping Muslim men contract multiple marriages?
How many customers of Bharat Matrimony are looking for Halala, Mutah and Misyar brides? Can Bharat Matrimony vouch that it does not do business with Arabic Shiekhs hunting for paid Mutah, Misyar “marriages” or travel prostitution?
Surprisingly, this obnoxious ad of Bharat Matrimony was deleted and tweeted again showing their brazen Hinduphobic agenda.
By the way, much of the sexual harassment happens on Valentine’s Day which is a commercial festival foisted on Indian society to destroy the fabric of Hindu Kutumba based on the foundation of committed deep love and understanding between couples cemented with Vivaaha.
Since Bharat Matrimony has Tamil website origins founded by its owner Murugavel Janakiraman, the Hinduphobic Holi ad does make one wonder whether it reflects the clichéd Dravidianist mindset.
Although Bharat Matrimony’s owner Murugavel Janakiraman doesn’t come across as a classical Dravidianist when one peruses his LinkedIn profile. As there are posts of his visiting Kapalishwarar Temple in Chennai on his birthdays and Bharat Matrimony sponsoring some Samuhik Vivaah in Vedic traditions.
Nevertheless, an article shared by him states that Janakiraman personally goes through every advertisement made for their matrimonial company as ads send important messages. So, he does come across as someone entertaining woke ideas or at least accepting the clichéd sermons given to Hindus during Hindu festivals – especially festivals followed by Hindus in the North. It is particularly pertinent to mention here that the advertisement was first deleted after outrage by Hindus and tweeted again which shows that Bharat Matrimony is very consciously putting out the Hinduphobic Holi ad.
Wonder how much of it is related to Janakiraman’s inclusion by the MK Stalin govt as a Member of the Govt of Tamilnadu’s Technology Advisory Council from October 2021.
Notably, the content creator for Bharat Matrimony’s advertisements is Wonrlab. While the ad made by Wondrlab for Holi displayed on its Twitter account has nothing objectionable in it, though it is quite secular in nature. The ad made for Bharat Matrimony by Wondrlab on the occasion of Holi and International Women’s Day is very preachy and demonizes Holi as a festival of sexual harassment. The content head of Wondrlab is some Hyderali Amir, so there are no guesses here on the origin of a very reverential ad for Bakra Eid and the Hinduphobic Holi ad of Bharat Matrimony. But since Janakiraman takes his company ads very seriously it is quite obvious, he approved this woke Hinduphobic ad. They have of late started a mate-finding platform for LGBTQ+ too. Janakiraman also put out a video on his LinkedIn account on the celebration of Pongal at Bharat Matrimony devoid of any Hindu religious symbols treating it more like a mere harvest festival.
Janakiraman keeps repeating that Bharat Matrimony is for happy marriages for a better Bharat. His idea of Bharat, as promoted through Bharat Matrimony’s ads seems to be a public display of reverence to Islamic and Christian faiths while portraying religious Hindu men from the North as depraved sexual predators and de-Hinduising festivals like Pongal, Onam, etc. It surely depicts a politically right “secular” subtle Hinduphobic attitude for gaining accolades from anti-Hindu secularists.
Lastly, while making money from Hindus Bharat Matrimony does come off as mischievously running the Dravianist church mafia, commie Islamists combine backed campaign of dividing North Indian Hindus from their Southern counterparts by portraying Holi as a festival of sexual harassment. Not to forget this coincides with MK Stalin’s son, Udayanidhi Stalin’s hatred for Hindi-speaking North Indian migrants in Tamil Nadu with his “Hindi Theriyadu” campaign and the general climate of fear for Hindi-speaking North Indians in Tamil Nadu due to confirmed incidents of assault in train 10 days back and hate speeches against them by DMK ministers.
There is something very fishy and deep with vested interests than what meets the eye with these innocent-looking ostensible concerned women-centric ads of Bharat Matrimony.
Meanwhile, Hindumisic usual suspects on social media reposted 2-3-year-old videos of isolated incidents to create an impression of how unsafe Holi is for women. Jas Oberoi, a Khalistani sympathizer and a columnist for Newslaundry whose hatred for anything and everything concerned with Hindus and Hinduism is quite evident from his derogatory tweets, posted a video of a middle-aged man forcibly kissing his young sister-in-law while compelling her to play Holi with him.
“An underage girl forcefully kissed & groped by her ‘Jija’ – husband of an elder sister – under the garb of playing Holi. Kya mast tyohaar hai!” Oberoi tweeted along with the video.
Similarly, known Islamophilic leftist Vinod Kapri with a visceral hatred for Hindu traditions and culture demonized Holi by tweeting a 2-year-old video of a foreigner complaining about some hooligans harassing her during Holi in UP interiors.

It is pertinent to note here that while the Hindumisic Islamophilic elements tried to portray one-off old incidents to vilify Holi, these harassments could very well be perpetrated by jihadist non-Hindus taking advantage of the festival to get near and molest Kafir women.
Notably, Swiggy too had come up with Hinduphobic Holi advertisement hoardings which were withdrawn after an uproar and BoycottSwiggy trending in social media. Featuring eggs, the billboard read, “Omelette; Sunny side-up; Kisi ke sarr par. #BuraMatKhelo. Get Holi essentials on Instamart”, sermonising Hindus how Holi should be celebrated.

To tackle commercial Hinduphobia, it is time Hindu society stops such agenda-driven commercial entities using their own money to pour venom against Hindu religious traditions, festivals, and culture with economic and social ostracization. If Hindus do not punish with backlash against commercial Hinduphobia, Hindu society alone is to be blamed for aiding and abetting the Hindumisic agenda. All self-respecting Hindus need to stand up for their religious rights or be ready to perish.
So, until Bharat Matrimony and other Hinduphobic entities reform their ways Hindu society can use the Boycott Astra to shun any commercial dealings with them and do business with unapologetic Hindu commercial entities promoting Dharmic values identified with some Saatvic certificates.

On Wednesday, police arrested two siblings in Vizhuppuram, charged with murdering a shop employee and assaulting three others. The accused were identified as G. Rajasekar (33) and his younger brother, G. Vallarasu (24) of Periyacolony, Vizhuppuram.
The two brothers under the influence of the drugs attacked Sankar (40), the manager of a private marriage venue near Vizhuppuram’s Old Bus Stand, with a knife.They then started yelling slurs in the street.When Manikandan, the owner of an oil shop, condemned their behavior, the duo attacked him. Deepak, one of the staff members who had attempted to safeguard Manikandan, was stabbed by one of the brothers before fleeing.
Following that, the brothers went to a grocery store on MG Road and started arguing with an elderly man outside. When A Ibrahim (45), a shop assistant from North Street, intervened, the siblings stabbed him. Ibrahim was taken to Vizhuppuram Government Hospital with serious abdominal injuries. Later, he was declared dead by doctors. His body was taken to the Government Vizhuppuram Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
Police from the Vizhuppuram West Police Station arrived at the scene and arrested the duo. The brothers had been creating a commotion on major roads for nearly two hours on Wednesday evening when the incident occurred. Those injured in the incident were taken to the Vizhuppuram government hospital.
The murder was not motivated by personal motives. The boys attempted to attack their father, whom they suspected of having an extramarital affair, and chastised their mother. They attacked anyone who criticised them.
It is worth noting that one of the assailants was sporting a DMK T-shirt with CM MK Stalin’s image on it, which sparked debate on social media. While being photographed by the police in the police station, T-shirt of one of the accused with MK Stalin’s image was removed and given an ordinary shirt, while the other accused was wearing the same shirt (can be see in cover pic).

The opposition parties raised this incident in the Tamil Nadu assembly, criticizing Stalin’s government for the failure of law and order in the state. Replying to the opposition’s question, MK Stalin said in the assembly, “The murder does not have any criminal motive. The brothers attempted to assault their father, whom they suspected of having an extramarital affair, and scolded their mother. During the incident, they assaulted anyone who got in their way. Hence it is a family feud and has nothing to do with state’s law and order.”
Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai slammed Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin for attempting to portray the recent incident in which two brothers, one of whom was wearing a DMK T-shirt with MK Stalin’s image, killed a shop employee and assaulted three others as a family feud in the Tamil Nadu assembly.
Reacting to MK Stalin’s remarks about the gruesome murder, Tamil Nadu BJP president Annamalai said, “DMK goons wearing T-shirts with MK Stalin’s image stabbed Ibrahim Raja in a supermarket in open daylight and assaulted a few others in another shop.”
He added that MK Stalin, on the other hand, tried to portray this incident as a family feud, as he usually does when criminal incidents go unpunished.
He urged MK Stalin to control the DMK party members who are engaging in uncontrolled anarchy and to pay attention to law and order, which is currently in a chaotic situation with no security for the public.

Sumanth Raman, a political commentator known for his “neutrality,” posted fake news about the NPCI charging a fee for UPI transactions. He even conducted a poll on the topic in his Twitter handle without even confirming the veracity of the news.
The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) announced on Wednesday that it has allowed PPI (Prepaid Payment Instruments) wallets to be part of the interoperable UPI ecosystem and has imposed a maximum of 1.1% fee on Unified Payment Interface (UPI) transactions exceeding ₹2,000 when using PPI.
The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) stated in its latest circular that it will begin charging “Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPI)” fees on merchant transactions on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) on April 1.
The NCPI had stated in its circular that the interchange charges are only applicable for Prepaid Payment Instruments merchant transactions. There are no charges levied on users for UPI or wallet (PayTm, Phone Pe, etc) transactions.
Within hours of the circular, miscreants started spreading rumours that UPI app users were being charged by NPCI for making online payments.
In one such attempt, ‘neutral’ political commentator Sumanth who has a considerable following on social media, stated that a 1.1% charge would be levied on all UPI transactions exceeding ₹2000, and he conducted a poll on his Twitter handle to gauge the level of effect the alleged charge would have on future UPI transactions.
As the fake news was circulated rapidly, with some verified handles like Sumanth Raman spreading it, NPCI and PAYTM issued a clarification, stating that the news of charging all UPI transactions is a rumour.

Linking the bank account in any UPI-enabled app for making payments has traditionally been the most preferred way of UPI transactions, accounting for approximately 99.9% of total UPI transactions. Customers and merchants continue to benefit from free bank account-to-account transfers.
According to NPCI, over eight billion transactions are handled for free for customers and merchants each month. By providing a free, fast, secure, and seamless experience, UPI has emerged as a preferred method of digital payment.
