List Of Terrorists Killed By ‘Unknown Gunmen’ Recently

For the past year or so, strange things have been taking place in Pakistan one after another in a series of killings of its non-state actors. Just recently, Dawood Malik who was a prominent individual involved in Islamic terror activities against India and had close ties to the wanted terrorist Maulana Masood Azhar was killed by unknown gunmen in the restive North Waziristan.

Dawood Malik was killed in an area where Islamic terrorists can walk and operate with impunity by unidentified gunmen who have targeted known terrorists. This marks the second such event in October, after Shahid Latif, the mastermind behind the 2016 terror attack on the Indian Air Force Base in Pathankot, also being assassinated earlier this month in Sialkot, Pakistan. Malik was the founder of Lashkar-e-Jabbar and his assassination was captured on CCTV footage which is now in the custody of Pakistani security forces.

According to many people in Pakistan, these mysterious assassinations/killings of individuals who have a history of terrorism, carried out by unknown individuals are being carried out by India’s external intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW). As per reports, Pakistani security agencies are on high alert as they have lost quite a few of their terror assets from their proxy inventory.

Many Islamic terror operators are now living in constant fear of being killed by unknown assailants who later just disappear. Also, many terror leaders are now in hiding or living under the protection of the Pakistani Army.
