Duo who ran Islamic Dawah Center in Delhi wanted to use differently abled converts to Islam as suicide bombers for global Jihad

After the Uttar Pradesh anti-terrorist squad (ATS) arrested two Islamic clerics who ran the ‘Islamic Dawah Center’ in Delhi who has been of mass religious conversion racket a new development has emerged that has national security implications.

The accused Mufti Qazi Jahangir Qasmi and Mohammad Umar Gautamware had devised a sinister plan to first convert the hearing and speech impaired children into Islam and then use them as human suicide bombers in the name of Islamic Jihad, reports Dainik Jagran.

Also, there are reports that Qasmi and Umar Gautam received funding from Pakistan’s spy agency the Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI), and other global sources. Both lived in Delhi’s Jamia Nagar and using coercive tactics converted around 1000 people to Islam and especially targeting deaf and mute individuals along with women and children for the same.

A senior official said, both Islamists wanted to brainwash these children into accepting Islam and later use them as human bombs in India and around the world in the name of Islam and Jihad.

The conversion gang is said to have targeted people in Noida, Varanasi, Mathura, and Kanpur. Earlier, the UP ATS had arrested the said individuals following the registration of an FIR in the case at Lucknow’s ATS police station.

Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar had stated that Gautam, who is himself a convert to Islam from Hinduism, boasted to the police of having converted at least 1,000 people to Islam, luring them with marriage, money, and jobs.

“I converted at least 1,000 non-Muslims to Islam, marrying them all to Muslims,” Kumar quoted Gautam as saying.

According to the ADG, the ATS had been working on the intelligence inputs that some people were getting funds from the ISI and other foreign agencies for converting poor people to Islam and spreading communal enmity in the society.

As of now, both Jihadists have been booked under the Gangster Act and National Security Act (NSA).

Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Aandolan Samiti offers bigger land for Mosque if disputed site is given back to Hindus

The Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Aandolan Samiti had filed an application at the court of Mathura on Tuesday (22 June), wherein the Samiti has offered a larger piece of land to the mosque management committee of the 17th century Shahi Masjid that stands on the birthplace of Lord Krishna reports The Indian Express.

The Hindu outfit wants the mosque’s management committee to agree to demolish the Mughal era structure voluntarily in return for land larger than the present.

“Intazamia Committee (management committee) would be offered a piece of land larger than the one on which Shahi Masjid Idgah stands,” said advocate Mahendra Pratap Singh, the president of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Aandolan Samiti, said.

Sri Krishna Janmasthan Temple, also known as Katra Keshav Dev temple, was destroyed multiple times throughout history and most recently by Aurangzeb in 1670, who erected a mosque in its place. It must be noted that Aurangzeb also demolished the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and built the Gyanvapi mosque

In the latter half of the 20th century, a group of industrialists sponsored the construction of the present temple beside the original temple site in Mathura and as of now, many suits are pending with Mathura courts on the issue of removing the mosque from its current location.

Just as Aydhoya is considered as the birthplace of Lord Ram, Mathura is also known as the birthplace of Lord Krishna which Hindu outfits want to be restored to Hindus.

In September 2020, the Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP), the apex body of saints and seers, decided to launch a campaign to free the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi and the Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura.

“TN govt responsible for Salem Murugesan murder”, Dr Krishnasamy slams DMK govt for opening TASMAC

Dr. Krishnasamy, founder and president of Puthiya Tamilagam Katchi, has blamed the Tamil Nadu government for the opening of TASMAC shops, which resulted in the murder of Salem Murugesan.

In a press statement released on Wednesday, Dr. Krishnasamy said, “I strongly condemn the police brutality that resulted in Murugesan’s death at Aththur in the Salem district.  This incident is a gross violation of human rights. This killing is similar to an incident that occurred in the United States over a year ago, where a white police officer strangled George Floyd with his knee.”

Dr. Krishnasamy highlighted how the advice of opposition parties, including Puthiya Tamilagam, to not open TASMAC during the COVID period was ignored by the DMK government, which was only concerned with the profits of DMK members’ related breweries companies and not with the welfare of the general public.

He went on to say, “It is the responsibility of the police and the government during the COVID period to ensure that the alcohol drinkers return home safely, as it is the government who opened the TASMAC to fill its pockets. However, Murugesan can be seen in the video being violently assaulted by three policemen. What major blunder did he make that resulted in his death on the road?”

He stated that the issue is far from over, despite the arrest of the policemen responsible for Murugesan’s murder, and that the numbers of conflicts in houses, streets, and roads have increased ever since the TASMAC shops were opened.

He further said that, while police officers are being blamed for Salem Murugasen’s murder, the real reason is the DMK government’s decision to open TASMAC shops.

He concluded his statement urging the DMK government to take full responsibility for the murder of Salem Murugesan and to realize the need to close down TASMAC shops permanently.

“There will be no India if 30 states opt to leave the Union”, DMK spokesman makes ludicrous argument in TV debate

Senior DMK leader and spokesperson Constantine Raveendran in an interview claimed that if all 30 Indian states decide to leave the ‘Union,’ there will be no India.

It all began after Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin said in the Tamil Nadu Assembly on Wednesday that referring to the Centre as Union Government is not a “social crime” as being portrayed by a few and the DMK government will continue to use the term ‘Union’ to refer central government.

Later in the evening, the issue of referring to the central government as the union government took up prime time debate slots in all mainstream news outlets. Constantine Raveendran, the DMK spokesperson, stated during a debate in News7 Tamil, “India does not exist if there is no state government. Where was India before 1947? There was no India before the British declared independence in 1947. There was no such entity called India prior to the adoption of our constitution on January 26, 1950.”

He went on to say, “Indian government does not have sovereignty on its own and its sovereignty is only transferred from people of the state.  If all thirty states decide to leave the ‘Union,’ there will be no India.”

Political Analyst Shriram Sheshadri, one of the panelists in the debate, was quick to interrupt and point out that there is no provision in the constitution that provides states the right to secede. He said India is an indestructible union of destructible states.

This ludicrous statement of DMK spokesperson has drawn flaks from various sections.

Tamil Nadu BJP spokesperson SG Suryah slammed DMK for its secessionist agenda in using the term ‘Union’ to refer to India.

No ‘Thandhiram’ in Jagame Thandhiram

The question has to be asked – “Why does Suruli have to wear a veshti to a gun fight during a snowy London winter? And, how is he not freezing to death yet?” When heroism comes at the cost of unwanted infusions of culture references, it seems to be taking the audience for granted. Throughout the movie, it was very obvious that the primary focus was to show Suruli (Dhanush) in a gangster arena as soon as possible, but what did not work at all was that neither Suruli was shown notorious enough to be at the top of the ladder of a London mafia nor does he exhibit his street smartness before his London expedition. Just managing a Parotta shop with the technique to produce naatu vedi within seconds, and stopping a train to kill a North Indian jewelry shop owner just because he does not belong here does not make him street smart, it actually makes him casteist. This seems to be purposefully included in the character sketch of Suruli just to show the transition of how Suruli hated outsiders when in Madurai, and how he later strives for the freedom of immigrants in London, but all that did not materialize properly on screen.

When is Tamil Cinema going to stop making movies for their heroes and actually start making movies for what the story in hand demands their heroes to do? This has been one pressing question that keeps arising every now and then. It was utterly disappointing to see someone like Karthik Subburaj create such an underwhelmingly constructed film. For instance here, why is Suruli everywhere in the movie? He is a pawn in the bigger conflict between Sivadoss (Joju George) and Peter Sprott (James Cosmo). Why make the movie only about Suruli and his journey when you have something stronger and bigger in hand, which could have been made to hit Suruli personally, thus causing the effect of Suruli’s purpose more effectively?

And what’s with the innumerous references that do not even make an iota of a difference to the scene and the story. How does it even matter if an Ilayaraja song or an Oruvan Oruvan Mudhali plays when there are only English men standing around, it’s going to be Greek and Latin to them anyway. Why is there a need to constantly establish the “Tamizhan na gethu da!” tag? The references need to be organic and fitting to the context, ultimately elevating the scene, not some random thing to just evoke nostalgia. This was not a Petta to evoke Rajinism.

The kind of character sketch that Sivadoss was shown to be, in whatever time he was on screen, our hearts go out for the man. It was so disappointing to see that Sivadoss was not the one driving the movie but unfortunately, Suruli was. It’s like saying Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won the match but Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won our hearts. It was brilliant to see Joju George slaying it on screen as Sivadoss with an attitude and temperament to handle a London mafia, and at the same time, do what he has been striving to do – to give an identity to the people who have suffered a disastrous past during the Eelam war. The problem with not giving Sivadoss his due is that when he dies, even we as an audience do not feel a thing, as we never know his struggles then. It feels like he was just another gangster who died in a gang war. It was supposed to be a shock for both Suruli and the audience during the reveal, but it was too late for resurrecting Sivadoss.

And, one word to describe James Cosmo as Peter Sprott is BADASS. The English dialogues for Peter looked as if it were taken out from a Hollywood gangster movie villain’s dialogue script. The cold blooded heart that Cosmo exhibits in Peter was so satisfying to watch. Particularly, the dialogues – “I am sorry to say that your “dishwasher” has snuffed it.“, “All you had to f’ing do is what you were meant to do.“, and another one on the lord Ganesha, looked so well written even for a Tamil movie. How I wish there was a bigger conflict shown on screen between Peter and Sivadoss!

The whole sequence of the movie was completely out of order just to make Suruli the protagonist. To somehow bring Suruli into the picture, the way in which he comes into the whole scheme of things was horribly written. One of the worst writing for Suruli was that he is shown as someone who has the brains to understand and uncover the Sivadoss smuggling network (how he did all that as just a Madurai gangster is beyond me), but then later is shown as someone who is not aware of the reason why Sivadoss was striving so hard to get an identity to the people who are in dire need of it. Poorly written.

The movie should have started with establishing who Sivadoss was and why he was doing what he was doing, his struggles and his purpose. Then, comes in Peter who wants wipe out the entire immigrant community out of London. There is your conflict. In the meantime, exhibit some sort of streetsmartness of Suruli while he is Madurai. Now, bring in Suruli as a planned scapegoat for Peter, but show how Suruli manages to use his “notorious” intelligence to wade through mafia waters. Then comes the redemption part where he takes revenge on Peter. This would have been perfect, had it properly established the characters and its standpoints at the start of the movie itself.

This was a great opportunity to become an epic gangster saga from Karthik Subburaj, but was missed due to the kind of compromises the directors make for actors. I am not really sure what was the need to show Dhanush in such a heroic manner, he can actually be your anything when you want him to be. Vada Chennai worked big time even with Dhanush being just a pawn in the whole scheme of things, that’s how Suruli should have been written. With Santosh Narayanan churning out top quality background score and with Shreyaas Krishna supporting it with some exceptional frames and angles, we sometimes feel that Karthik Subburaj was underwhelming with his writing.

Jagame Thandhiram is a big misfire that feels like a shotgun bullet fired using a Cannon, making us feel that the movie had what it takes to go the distance, but misses the mark with an effect that is diluted amidst the heroism of Suruli.

Canada: Two churches built on lands of indigenous people burnt down

After the discovery of the remains of 215 children buried underneath on the site of a former residential school for indigenous children run by the Roman Catholic Church in British Columbia, Canada, two Roman Catholic churches built on indigenous land were burnt down in southern Okanagan in the Canadian province, Vancouver Sun reported.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are treating the fires emerging out of the Sacred Heart Church on Penticton Indian Band land on National Indigenous People’s Day, as ‘suspicious’.

Less than two hours later after the burning of the Sacred Heart Church on Penticton Indian Band land at 3:10 a.m. Oliver RCMP and the Oliver Fire Department were informed of a fire in the St. Gregory’s Church on Osoyoos Indian Band land is also ablaze.

Vancouver Sun quoted Penticton South Okanagan RCMP spokesman Sgt. Jason Bayda who said, “Both churches burned to the ground and police are treating the fires as suspicious,”.

Once the news of the discovery of mass graves of children at the Kamloops Indian Residential School came to light, anger seethed over Canada and the Catholic Church’s treatment of indigenous people was palpable.

The 215 children found dead were as young as three years old who would have suffered abuse and beatings at the hands of Catholic priests and nuns.

These Catholic reformatory schools were started with the support from the Vatican from the 19th century until the 1970s. More than 150,000 indigenous children who the Church considered as heathens were required to attend state-funded Christian schools as part of a program to ‘assimilate them into Canadian society’.

These helpless children were taken away from their parents and were forced to convert to Christianity and not allowed to speak their native languages so any connection to their culture and heritage was forgotten and this has been called a “cultural genocide,” that a six-year investigation had found in 2015.

Many children suffered all kinds of abuse from beatings to being sexually abused at the hands of priests and nuns and up to 6,000 are said to have died under these circumstances.

The Kamloops Indian Residential School was shut in 1978 and the sole purpose for establishing this boarding school is to obliterate First Nation culture.

This school was under the direct control of the Catholic Church from 1890 to 1969 and was notorious for the brutality it unleashed on the children where they lived under the mercy of sadistic priests and nuns after being forcibly from their families.d

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission in Canada concluded that the residential schools were a system of “cultural genocide” and at least 4,100 students died while attending the schools, many of them due to abuse, negligence, disease, or accident.

The report highlighted in great detail the horrific physical abuse, rape, malnutrition, and other atrocities suffered by many of the 150,000 children who attended the schools, typically run by Christian churches on behalf of Ottawa from the 1840s to the 1990s.

“The news that remains were found at the former Kamloops residential school breaks my heart – it is a painful reminder of that dark and shameful chapter of our country’s history. I am thinking about everyone affected by this distressing news. We are here for you,” Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted Friday.

The Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS) urged the federal government and the Roman Catholic Church to take action and in a media release.

IRSSS co-chair Rick Alec, a member of the Ts’kw’aylaxw First Nation said, “My Creator is asking their God why disciples would do this to us,” he said. “The Pope needs to answer this question. There is no more denying it. Now there is physical evidence from these unmarked graves.”

Dalit women accuses Muslim youth of rape, intimidation, and forced conversion

A Dalit woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly has alleged that a Muslim youth raped her after befriending her through social media, and also accused his family of forcible conversion for marriage, police said on Monday.

According to police, a case was filed against the Muslim youth and his family members based on the allegation of the woman, who also claimed that the guy forced her to have an abortion and that his family members demanded Rs 7 lakh from her parents before kicking her out of their home on April 10. She has also accused him of hurling casteist remarks at her, Police said.

On Monday, Senior Superintendent of Police Rohit Singh Sajwan stated,” the youth, a resident of Pilibhit district, had befriended the woman through the Facebook account of his sister almost five years ago. He started chatting with the woman and later introduced himself, but they continued their interaction. He then called her to a mall in Bareilly from where he took her to Pilibhit on the pretext of making her meet his family, where his parents and sister allegedly locked her in a room, she has alleged.”

According to Sajwan, the girl said she was raped, filmed, and threatened to release the video if she refused to marry after being forcibly converted. He said her ‘Nikaah’ was finally done in September 2020 after changing her religion, but she was allegedly kept in a guest house for three months.

The SSP further stated that the girl claimed she was pregnant and was compelled to get an abortion.

The SSP added that the matter is being investigated.

The nefarious ecosystem of N-A-M troika

In the past one-decade, western donor agencies have propped up a huge squadron of NGOs and think tanks to work on human rights of LGBTI+ people and other issues. These NGOs have also branched off into following areas:

They claim to work simultaneously on the full range of human rights issues which is solely aimed at creating political and social fault lines in the country. From defining the school and university curricula to influencing law-making on critical issues, they dominate the entire academic, media and political discourse. Their principal agenda is to create a regressive stereotype of Indian society and project India (Hindus) to be ‘anti-human rights’.

The creation of this stereotype is undertaken in a coordinated fashion by a carefully designed ecosystem of NGOs, academics, media. The funding of each element of this ecosystem can be traced to some or the other western donor. Post 2014, the FCRA law has been amended to restrict their funding. Still, they have invented alternative routes to secure funding and continue their work.

Some of the key individuals/organizations working in a coordinating manner are:

How The NAM Troika Works

On the outside, these organizations, activists and media seem like they stand for justice. But all of them come from a certain political and ideological position. They scratch each other’s back to help them promote themselves at the cost of lives and livelihood. Together, they form an ecosystem. Together, they form what is called the NAM troika – the NGO-Activist-Media troika.

This ecosystem of foreign funded organizations, academia, media and other outfits peddle a certain narrative that glorifies certain values and exaggerates half-truths. They are hell belt on shoving their opinions down the throat of people. They must be an even angrier lot now, considering that the government has stopped the money flow through problematic organizations into India by cancelling many of the FCRA licenses.

The NAM troika not just influences policy making and decisions by nurturing opinion makers and thought leaders to stand against development projects, but also spread anarchy knowingly or unknowingly.

They target select Ministries like the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, etc and Statutory bodies like National Human Rights Commission, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, etc to lobby and achieve their vested interests.

Here are some examples on how they infiltrate the system and emerge as trouble makers

1) Training on gender and sexuality issues in Schools/Universities: Organizations like Nazariya, Nirantar etc and individuals like Harish Iyer actively conduct sessions in schools across the country claiming to promote awareness on gender and sexuality. Recently, Oxfam India had come up with the idea of ‘Equality Clubs’ in schools where children in middle and high school are put through modules on ‘gender equality’, ‘diversity and inclusion’, etc. Basically, catching them young and indoctrinating to development them into individuals who will subscribe to their point of view in future. Such initiatives are directly or indirectly funded by the dreaded and nefarious philanthropist George Soros.

2) Lobbying with government/statutory bodies: These NGOs and academic are also part of key consultations organized by ministries, NITI Aayog as well as statutory bodies like Law Commission, UGC, NCERT, NHRC, NCW, NCPCR etc. Rituporna Borah from Nazariya has been part of curriculum making process in NCERT. Many of the state and national level textbook development committees have such people in the board.

3) Engineering social unrest: Such NGOs, activists and academics foment social unrest through campaigns and protests. The anti-CAA protests at Shaheenbagh, the Thoothukudi Sterlite protests are case in point. The media is the vehicle on which all these people ride to engineer social unrest. Through left-liberal and Islamist portals like The Wire, Alt News, The News Minute, Quint, etc, these NGOs and individuals get portrayed as as an enlightened intellectual and activist. Together they manufacture opinions and build narratives that further leads to social tensions.

What Needs To Be Done

1) Create stronger legal regulations to stop foreign funding of NGOs: Reforms are required in the FCRA and other laws which regulate foreign funding. Most of these NGOs are still getting foreign funds through alternative routes through fiscal sponsors and getting pocket funds which are within the prescribed limits. It is good to see the present government taking steps in this direction.

2) Insulating policy-making process from anti-India/ anti-Hindu groups: India is a mature democracy with firm constitutional safeguards in place for all minorities and groups. The formal policy consultation and formulation process are being dominated by groups who are openly hateful towards India/Hindus. Therefore, it is critically important that the policymaking process is insulating from the influence of such groups. Instead, the government should ensure that honest activists and scholars are given space and are duly consulted whenever policies related to human rights issues are being discussed.

3) Influencing international law and policy making process: Like domestic policy making process, the international law-making on human rights issues is also determined by groups who are not aligned with our values. Most of the UN bodies who are responsible for creating human right mechanism are based in Geneva and New York. The government should support individuals who are experts in this domain and are also aligned with Bhartiya values to participate in international forums and conferences.

4) Educate and train a network of activists, scholars, journalists: Training modules on human rights issues attuned to Indian traditions need to be prepared. This should be taken up on priority basis. HRD Ministry should urgently take up this issue and ensure that groups like Nazariya and Oxfam do not get access to our schools and universities.

Activism on issues related to gender and sexuality in India is going in a direction which is deeply problematic. Most of the activists who claim to work on these issues are being patronised by NGOs and donor groups based outside India. The space for constructive activism is shrinking because people who do not agree to their point of view or cancelled, denied platforms and deprived of institutional support. Currently, several Islamic and Christian organisations have begun to take advantage of the vulnerable situation of people belonging to gender variant communities and have started conversion activities at a large scale. Therefore, it is extremely important to take urgent steps towards countering such efforts by ‘Breaking India’ forces. Our nation is already facing a huge demographic challenge as a result of conversion activities of the church and Islamic organisations. It would be a great civilizational tragedy if we do not act in time. Many of these NGOs who claim to work for human rights of LGBTI+ people are deeply connected with extremist political organizations and also foreign organisations who only have a divisive agenda.

Indian Veterinary Association slams MP Maneka Gandhi for using unparliamentary words against Veterinary Doctors

The Indian Veterinary Association (IVA) has called on all veterinarians in the country to observe June 23rd as ‘Black Day’ to condemn MP Maneka Gandhi’s unruly behaviour against a veterinary doctor.

In the audio that surfaced on social media on June 21, MP and animal rights activist Maneka Gandhi is purportedly heard telling a police officer to register a case and slap a veterinarian, whom she accused of breaking a dog’s leg but was denied by IVA. In the leaked audio, she reportedly used unparliamentary language toward the arrested veterinary doctor and ordered the police to recover the cost of treatment from that veterinary doctor.

The Indian Veterinary Association issued a press statement condemning MP Maneka Gandhi’s unruly behaviour. It reads: “Indian Veterinary Association (IVA) feels aggrieved and registers its strongest condemnation in the strongest terms for Smt.Maneka Gandhi’s high-handed act for using abusive and filthy language against a Veterinarian who has performed surgery on a dog and demanding money as compensation, subverting all the laws of the land in a manner not less than an act of vandalism.”

The association also called for a nationwide protest, requesting that all veterinarians in the country observe a Black Day by wearing a Black Batch/ Band while performing their duties on June 23, 2021, as a mark of protest for the highhanded act and malicious mischief of using abusive language while dealing with the veterinarian under the guise of animal welfare.

According to IVA, they have already raised the unruly behaviour of MP Maneka Gandhi with the Prime Minister and Speaker of the Lok Sabha. “IVA has submitted her unparliamentary behavior to Honorable Prime Minister and Speaker of Lok Sabha, breaking the moral code of conduct of a Parliamentarian, and her disparaging statements on Veterinarians have already generated a profound grief within the professional cadre,” it states.

IVA threatened to intensify the agitations, if MP Maneka Gandhi doesn’t reverse her attitude and refrain from obnoxious comments on Veterinarians of the country.

Fake news peddler Rana Ayyub asks Harvard students to speak ‘truth to power’

‘Journalist’ Rana Ayyub, who was has been accused for peddling fake news on Ghaziabad Muslim man beard chopping incident tweeted that she had spoken to students of Harvard about ‘speaking truth to power’.

“Spoke to students of Harvard political review on the challenges before journalism and ‘speaking truth to power’ in the new world order. Nothing gives me more joy than speaking to these young minds whose commitment and enthusiasm gives me hope for the future,” Rana Ayyub tweeted while sharing a screenshot of her zoom meeting with students of Harvard University.

It is to be noted that Harvard is notoriously for its close ties with the Communist Party of China. This conveys a clear display of hostile sentiments that the former has towards India, since China has been competing with India image as a leader in the South-east Asian domain.

Notably, the Communist Party of China under the leadership of Xi Jinping has pumped a lot of money money into Harvard ever since his daughter joined the university as a student. Another Ivy-league University Yale also began to receiving grants and gifts from China. Many top Chinese leaders have enrolled their children into Yale University.
