‘Stalin has kneeled before Pinarayi’: BJP TN holds massive protest against DMK Govt for giving up state’s water rights over Mullaiperiyar Dam

BJP Tamil Nadu President K. Annamalai came down heavy on the DMK government for giving up the state’s water rights over Mullaiperiyar dam.

Speaking at a massive protest held in Theni, Annamalai lashed out at the Tamil Nadu government for not even bothering to register its protest when the Kerala government released the water from Mullaiperiyar dam before it touched 142 feet as given in the Supreme Court order.

He said that the CM Stalin must apologize to the farmers of the 5 riparian districts in Tamil Nadu for giving up the state’s water rights.

He added that CM Stalin has kneeled before Pinarayi Vijayan government prioritizing political alliance over livelihood of farmers

Annamalai also took a jibe at CM Stalin saying that he should speak like a Chief Minister and not like a comedy actor.

The BJP Tamil Nadu chief also lashed out at the Communist parties in Tamil Nadu for maintaining stoic silence on the matter and not fighting for the rights of Tamil Nadu farmers. He pointed out that the Communists in Tamil Nadu had stood with China during the Galwan Valley clash insulting the sacrifice of our soldiers and that one cannot expect the Communists to think of Tamil farmers’ welfare.

The CPI-M Government in Kerala had released the water from Mullaiperiyar Dam before the water level touched 142 feet. The dam was opened when the water level reached 136 feet without the presence of a state Minister and Theni District Collector.

Kerala Narco Jihad: Police arrest 3 persons possessing 100 kg ganja

After Police in Assam in the last few days arrested several people for peddling drugs, now a narco terror network in Kerala was busted by the police when they arrested, Faisal, Anas, and Varsha were arrested with 100 kg cannabis from Kochi.

According to the details released by the police, the suspects would purchase cannabis for Rs 200-300 from Andhra Pradesh and sell the same in Kerala for Rs 20,000-30,000. The police also confiscated two cars in which were being used to smuggle and transport cannabis.

In yet another in Kerala, 190 Kg of Cannabis and 300g Hashish oil worth Rs 65 Lakh were seized from Palakkad district and again two drug peddlers belonging to a minority community Abdul Salim and Shibu were arrested by the police in connection with this.

In Calicut, police seized a large quantity of Cannabis and police have arrested Ahmad Nihal, Shamzad and Aneesha in this case as Kerala is now witnessing a sudden surge in drug-related cases in recent times.

It is a known modus operandi that Islamic jihadists use the proceeds from the sale of drugs and use the money for planning and executing acts of terrorism.

Recently, a powerful bishop of the Syro Malabar Church asked his people to be careful about ‘Narcotic Jihad’, which according to him is a systematic plan to ruin the lives of non-Muslims.

The drug trade is highly lucrative and now drug peddlers have also started taking in non-Muslims as their drug carriers to evade the Muslim angle to the narcotic trade.

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma keeps poll promise, takes stern action against illegal encroachment

Keeping the promise made during the Assam state assembly election, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has again taken stern action against illegal encroachment.

Sarma said, that he will continue with the ongoing eviction in the Lumding reserve forest as all encroachment in Assam is done for business purposes.

As per reports, a man named Nazrul bought around 1500 migrant Muslim families to the Lumding reserve forest from different places of Assam like Nagaon, Barpeta, and Dhubri, and in a nexus with government and forest officials he managed to destroy almost half of the reserve forest and settled hundreds of families there during 2007 to 2015.

Sarma also said that even Dhalpur-Girukhuti encroachment was done for business purposes with the support of a few land mafias who grab huge areas of land and later they sell it to encroaching families and do large scale cultivation.

According to the Hojai district administration, the eviction drive started on Monday morning and will clear 500 hectares of land which is being done as per the Guwahati High Court order. The High Court responding to a PIL filed by ex MLA of Hojai Siladitya Dev, directed the government to clear the encroachment in Lumding reserve forest by February 2022.

IMK announces cash prize for anyone who kicks actor Vijay Sethupathi for insulting Muthuramalinga Thevar

The Indu Makkal Katchi in Tamil Nadu has announced that it would provide cash prize for anyone who kicks film actor Vijay Sethupathi who had allegedly insulted freedom fighter and nationalist icon Muthuramalinga Thevar.

The tweet posted by Indu Makkal Katchi said that the party would provide ₹1001/- per kick to anyone who kicked Vijay Sethupathi until he apologized for insulting Muthuramalinga Thevar.

This tweet comes in the light of a video of a man attacking film actor Vijay Sethupathi at the Bengaluru airport which went viral. Many had attributed different reasons but the man who had attacked the actor, revealed himself in a YouTube channel and said that the actor had sarcastically commented on India being a nation and Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar.

The man named Maha Gandhi was apparently a co-passenger of Vijay Sethupathi in the flight and had congratulated the actor on winning the National Award.

But Vijay Sethupathi had allegedly replied in a sarcastic manner saying “Is this is a nation?”. He had also asked if the actor had paid a visit to Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar’s samadhi/statue on the occassion of Guru Pooja (the birth-cum-death anniversary of Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar). For this, Vijay Sethupathi had apparently asked who is Guru?

It is not clear if Vijaysethupathi said this but Maha Gandhi tells that the actor apparently told him that the one he is referring is a ‘Jewish carpenter’ (Jesus) and not Muthuramalinga Thevar.

Maha Gandhi also says that this resulted in a heated argument and was attacked later by two of Vijay Sethupathi’s men when he was collecting the luggage. He said that he attacked only in return which was caught in camera of a by-stander.

He added that he is waiting for the CCTV footage so that people can know what the truth is.

Controversial actor Vijay Sethupathi has of late been resorting to virtue signalling to grab limelight after back-to-back flops.

His latest film ‘Laabam’, a Communist cringe-fest which was released immediately after the reopening of theatres bombed at the box office.

India wants more countries to accept Covaxin after WHO approval, US to allow Indians vaccinated by Covaxin from Nov 8

After the World Health Organisation gave approval for Covaxin for emergency use, India has initiated a diplomatic blitz to increase the list of countries that would mutually recognise vaccine certificates that would allow smoother travel for Indians.

The Indian diplomatic crops are on an overdrive to get more countries to recognise Covaxin as the number of countries accepting Indians vaccinated with the Bharat Biotech-developed vaccine could rise after WHO’s decision.

So far, Australia, Sri Lanka, Greece, Nepal, Mauritius, Estonia, Zimbabwe, and the Philippines amongst others have approved Covaxin. More importantly, Indians who have taken both doses of Covaxin will be permitted to enter the US from 8 November.

Additionally, seven countries comprising Palestine, Mauritius, Mangolia, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary, Serbia, and Estonia have opted to mutually recognise vaccine certificates with India.

As of now over 20 countries have already permitted vaccinated Indians entry without being quarantined and vice versa.

During the recently held G20 meeting in Rome, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had proposed mutual recognition of Covid vaccination certificates. Subsequently, the G20 leaders decided to work towards reopening international travel by acknowledging mutual recognition of vaccine certificates.

“Fact of the matter is that the point the PM tried to make (on vaccine certification) has been received. Most countries are quite happy with the idea of facilitating smoother international travel…and feel that we need to collectively work on it,” Indian foreign secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla had said post the summit, as reported by the Economic Times.

Actor Vijay Sethupathi was attacked for allegedly insulting India and Muthuramalinga Thevar

Recently, a video of a man attacking film actor Vijay Sethupathi at the Bengaluru airport went viral with many attributing different reasons. The identity of the person who had pounced at Vijay Sethupathi’s escort team was not clear initially. Some went on to say that the man who attacked was a Kannadiga and hater of Vijay Sethupathi.

However, the man who had attacked the actor, revealed himself in a YouTube channel spelling out the reason for the attack.

The man named Maha Gandhi was apparently a co-passenger of Vijay Sethupathi in the flight and had congratulated the actor on winning the National Award.

Muslim govt official in Tirunelveli makes Hindu staffs to work on Deepavali

A Muslim official named Jehangir Badsha who is Assistant Commissioner of the Palayamkottai zone of Tirunelveli Corporation in Tamil Nadu forced his predominately Hindu staff to attend office on Diwali day has upset the Hindus in that area.

Badsha is known as a Muslim fanatic with a Taliban mindset and on the day of Diwali, he deliberately forced the employees to report for duty knowing it was a public holiday so it will stop Hindus from celebrating Diwali with their families.

Already there are many cases in Tamil Nadu wherein areas of Muslim majority are enforcing Shariat rule and are denying permission to celebrate temple festivals, Hindu religious processions and restrictions on Hindu festivals have become quite common in Tamil Nadu.

Under the DMK rule, such behaviour is now actively supported with the blessings of the state government. In fact, on November 4, as Hindus across the world celebrated Deepavali marking the triumph of good over evil, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin did not wish Hindus to prove his anti-Hindu credential and that of his party, the DMK

Things are now so bad that there are many places in Tamil Nadu that are called mini Pakistan.

As per a report published in the Organiser, Tirunelveli district Hindu Munnani general secretary Brahmanayagam rushed to the Palayamkottai Zone, where they saw employees of the Hindu community, who were forced to attend office on Diwali day.

After a complaint was raised to the police, who came to the zonal office and asked the staff to go home to celebrate Diwali.

The number of cases of bigotry against Hindus in the state is now on the rise. Recently, two parents were forced to take off their wards from a Christian run school in Kancheepuram after the Anderson school teacher Joyson objected to their wearing a Rudraksha mala ( Holy beads, a sacred seed) around their neck.

The kids were scolded by the teachers in the open classroom for wearing Rudraksha and said only rowdy elements wear it and the students were also allegedly beaten up by the teacher when they came the next day wearing the mala.

However, the parents stood firm and the video of the parents seeking a Transfer certificate from the school went viral which the school tried to downplay by claiming they did not do the homework and class works.

China angry over Sri Lanka cancelling organic fertilizer order, uses punitive punishment

China Development Bank

The small island nation of Sri Lanka is under tremendous pressure from China after Colombo rejected an order of organic fertilizer from a Chinese company after it was discovered it was contaminated.

Sri Lanka had decided to import 99,000 metric tonnes of organic fertilizer at a cost of 63 million US dollars from the Chinese company,  but after an analysis, the consignment was rejected as it was found to be “tainted” which infuriated China.

This decision was based on scientific research after the Policy Research Group said in two samples, the fertilizer supplied by China did not meet the Sri Lanka Standard Institutions. Also, National Plant Quarantine Service and Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board found micro-organisms, pathogens, and diseases harmful to the soil, plants, and humans in the fertilizer supplied by China.

Also, there was a lot of pressure from Sri Lankan scientists who warned that China’s organic fertilizer would be an agricultural disaster as the samples were found to be infected with Erwinia, a notorious plant pathogen that causes severe post-harvest losses in crops, the think tank said.

After the order was canceled, China put pressure on Sri Lankan leadership but that did not work and that led to China’s punitive blacklisting of state-owned People’s Bank of Sri Lanka, citing a “vicious” Letter of Credit “default”. China said that the Sri Lankan bank’s decision caused huge losses, but the bank clarified that it was only following court orders prohibiting it from making payments.

The Chinese government even went to the extent that it is not willing to accept that Sri Lanka has disallowed a consignment of organic fertilizer exported by a Chinese company.

It must be noted that India recently air-lifted nearly 110 tonnes of organic fertilizer to Sri Lanka after the Rajapaksa government asked for help.
