TNM Executive Editor Says PM Modi’s Supporters Do Not Belong In Civilized Society, Calls For Their “Re-education Program”

In what can be considered as a Nazi-level hatemongering, the Executive Editor of rabid leftist media outlet The News Minute (TNM), made a genocidal comment about people who support Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Modi embarked on a mega road-show in Bengaluru on the weekend. It was initially scheduled to be a single day long rally which was set to cover 17 constituencies out of 28 constituencies in Bengaluru but was divided it into a two-day road show considering in order to lessen public inconvenience.

The road-show saw people participate in huge numbers from across the age spectrum. Thousands of supporters were seen on both sides of the road showering flowers on PM Modi. According to Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya, around a million people showed up for the mega road show on Saturday.

A video showing highlights from the rally was shared by Prime Minister Modi on his social media.

Responding to this video post, Sudipto Mondal, who is the Executive Editor of TNM’s bylines, made an insensitive, derogatory and hate-mongering comment on those supporting PM Modi.

He said that that BJP/PM Modi’s supporters do not belong to a civilized society and need to be put through “re-education programme” after they’ve been “forgiven” by his ilk.

Re-education camps are basically indoctrination camps which Communist countries like China use to punish political dissidents and drill down the Communist ideology into the minds of common people. China has come under flak for use of ‘re-education camps’ on Uighurs Muslims and has been accused of committing human rights abuses.

The erstwhile Soviet Union had commissioned re-education camps knowns as gulag inmates were subjected to long hours of work in dangerous and difficult conditions, with little food or medical care.

And this is not the first time that the Executive Editor of The News Minute has peddled propaganda against the BJP.

He had called members of the BJP, RSS and Bajrang Dal as terrorists on different occasions.
