IMK’s election manifesto released

The Indhu Makkal Katchi’s leader Arjun Sampath has released their election manifesto ahead of the upcoming elections. The following are the highlights of their manifesto:

1.All the English names of villages, towns and streets in Tamil Nadu will be changed to Tamil

2. Free education will be provided for all the eligible poor Hindu students in the state

3. Free and quality medical care will be provided for poor Hindu families

4. The Ranganathar temple in Srirangam will be renamed as Tamil Nadu’s Thirupathi, and its standard will be made equal to that of Tirupathi.

5. Tiruchi will be made the second capital of TN

6. Medical colleges that provide quality education similar to that of CMC will be set up in TN for the benefit of Hindu students

7. Eco-friendly product manufacturing units will be set up in every village to provide job opportunities for villagers

8. Minibuses for each and every village to provide complete connectivity

9. JalliKattu and Kabaddi will be made popular and equal to national sports and winners will be given 1 lakh

10. The poverty of all Hindu families in Tamil Nadu will be abolished

11. The Tamil Nadu state board will be made to provide stress-free education similar to Finland

12. Open book examination system will be established for college students

13. Skill development centres will be established in all the colleges

14. Efforts will be taken to make Coimbatore an industrial city and Trichy an electronic city

15. Rivers Palar and Cauvery will be linked

16. Salem will be made the country’s number 1 dairy centre

17. Organic agriculture will be promoted throughout the state

18. The Thanjavur medical college’s standard of education will be upgraded similar to JIPMER
