Former Nakkheeran reporter peddles fake news of elephant dying at Isha Foundation

For long, ‘activists’, ‘journalists’ and certain media house have been constantly reporting about Isha Foundation encroaching forests to build the Aadhi Yogi statue at the Isha Foundation. In another such instance, Siva, a former reporter from Nakkheeran posted on Twitter that a young male elephant died after coming in contact with an electric fence near the Adiyogi Siva statue.

He had posted four photographs of Isha’s volunteers who, he claims, had chased it and then died near the farmland of someone named Durai, tagging the names of some journalists.

A lot of the Twitterati who had replied to the post had confirmed that this was a distorted message. News reports by prominent media houses confirmed that the elephant was found dead near a private paddy field, located several kilometres away from the statue of Adiyogi.

Calling out the fake news peddled by the ‘public journalist’ as he claims to be, Isha Foundation lashed out saying that the ‘Hyena Activists’ are out again to spread fake news and damage Isha Foundation and Sadhguru’s reputation.

It is noteworthy to mention that Siva was expelled from Nakkheeran earlier.

They also said that Isha Foundation was working  with Forest Officials to educate farmers to use low-voltage solar pulse fences to harmlessly deter wild pigs and elephants from ruining the crops.

Instead of focusing on the real issue and seeing how to keep both humans and animals safe, these #HyenaActivists are trying to scavenge a pound of flesh for their vested interests. Trying desperately to somehow involve Isha Foundation.”, Isha Foundation tweeted.
