TN BJP Youth Wing Functionary Self Immolates Allegedly Due To Police Excess, Annamalai Warns Police Of State Wide Repercussions

In a tragic incident, the Tamil Nadu BJP youth wing vice president of Paramakudi Union has self-immolated allegedly due to police foisting false cases against him and harassing him.

In a strongly worded statement, Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai has condemned the police excess and accused the police force of being a lapdog of the ruling DMK government.

Annamalai said, “I am profoundly disturbed to learn that today, Mr. Tamilchelvan, the Vice President of the Youth Wing in the Paramakudi Union BJP, has resorted to self-immolation at the Parthibanur Police Station. This drastic action is a result of unfounded charges and persistent oppression by the Tamil Nadu Police.”

Annamalai added, “The complete transformation of the Tamil Nadu Police Department into a lapdog of the DMK is a matter of grave concern. Forgetting that everyone is equal before the law, the ruling party’s intimidation and harassment of the BJP will not be tolerated.

He went on to say, “Tamil Nadu BJP Ramanathapuram District President Mr. Tharani Murugesan and Tamil Nadu BJP State President Mr. Ramesh Siva staged a protest in front of the police station against police repression. I urge that if this kind of discrimination by the police continues, they will have to face opposition from the BJP all over Tamil Nadu.

The Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) led by its State President Ramesh Shiva conducted a road bloackade in Ramanathapuram district condemning the police.

DMK Spokie Says People Of UP And Bihar Lack Intelligence Because Of Sanatana Dharma

DMK spokesperson Constantine Ravindran has sparked controversy by what can be construed as a racist statement, asserting that people of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar lack common sense and intelligence because of the domination of Santana Dharma.

This statement from a DMK’s official spokesperson comes even as the dust is yet to settle on Udhayanidhi Stalin likening Sanatana Dharma to Dengue, Malaria, and Corona and calling for its eradication.

Udhayanidhi Stalin made these comments during the Eradicate Sanatanam Conclave” organized by Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers and Artists Association at Chennai, akin to the anti-Hindu Dismantling Global Hindutva conference that was held in 2021.

Following his comments, politicians including the alliance partners of DMK such as Congress and Shiva Sena, and some political commentators have condemned Udhayanidhi Stalin’s speech.

In this situation, as the pressure on DMK was mounting nationwide for the hate speech of Udhayanidhi Stalin. Former judges, government officials, and war veterans have collectively written a letter to the Chief Justice of India, urging him to initiate suo motu proceedings in response to the hate speech delivered by DMK Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin.

And now to make things worse, DMK spokesperson Constantine Ravindran made a racist statement claiming that the people of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are uneducated, and lack common sense and intelligence because of prevalence of Sanatana Dharma.

While responding to a question on whether Udhayanidhi’s remarks on the eradication of Sanatana Dharma will affect the votes of I.N.D.I alliance, Constantine Ravindran said, “Certainly the statement of Udhayanidhi will have no negative impact. Did anyone from Kerala, Karnataka, or Andhra make any statements against Udhayanidhi? Nothing. Even in North India, did everyone accept Sanatana Dharma in places like West Bengal? West Bengal was ruled by Communists. Did Communists accept Sanatana Dharma?

He added, “Only in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, do people follow Sanatanam. No one is educated there because Sanatanam flourished in those states. They do not have intelligence. They do not have rationality in their life. In these two states, there may be a small impact. But those two states will not affect us.

It is worth noting that the state of Bihar is ruled by Nitish Kumar of Janata Dal (United) and Tejasvi Yadav of Rashtriya Janata Dal who are part of I.N.D.I Alliance in which DMK is also a member. The DMK spokesperson’s racially insensitive remark targeting the people of Bihar is bound to further anger coalition partners, JDU and RJD. This internal discord is giving rise to significant skepticism among political analysts regarding the alliance’s viability leading up to the upcoming parliamentary elections next year.

Alarming Rise in Child Abuse Cases Rocks Kerala, Will Pinarayi Vijayan Take Action?

A troubling situation has unfolded in Kerala, demanding immediate attention, as the state grapples with a disturbing surge in cases of child abuse. According to a recent report released by the Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Kerala witnessed a staggering 4,582 cases under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act in the last year alone. These disheartening figures underscore the urgent need for intervention to safeguard the state’s children.

Perpetrators

The annual report for 2022-23 by the Commission paints a grim picture, revealing that out of the 5,002 individuals accused in these cases, 4,643 were male, and 115 were female. Even more concerning is that 908 individuals on the list were identifiable as potential threats to children, with 601 of them being neighbors and 170 being teachers. An additional 801 people were identified as potential suitors.

Victims

Most victims in these cases were girls, primarily falling within the age group of 15 to 18 years. The statistics highlight the pervasive nature of child abuse across various settings, with 1,004 incidents taking place in children’s homes, 133 in schools, 102 in vehicles, 99 in hotels, and 96 in friends’ houses. Shockingly, 60 cases occurred within religious institutions, 29 in hospitals, and 12 in childcare facilities. Notably, out of the 4,642 children who became victims of sexual violence, 55 were aged 0-4, and 367 were aged 5-9, underscoring the vulnerability of even the youngest members of society.

The data reveals a deeply troubling trend in Kerala, where the number of POCSO cases has quadrupled in the decade since the enactment of the POCSO Act in 2012. From a mere 1,002 reported cases in 2013, the figure has surged to an alarming 4,582 in 2022.

This surge in child abuse cases has raised serious questions about the safety and well-being of children in the state. Recent incidents, including the tragic case of Chandini, have highlighted the pressing need for decisive action to protect Kerala’s children.

Adding to the concern, the Kerala Police have released figures indicating that 214 children have lost their lives due to criminal cases over the past seven years, during the tenure of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Moreover, the data shows a disturbing total of 31,364 reported incidents of violence against children from 2016 to May 2023, with 9,604 children being victims of sexual assault during this period.

These shocking statistics cast doubt on the effectiveness of leadership in the state and prompt questions about the government’s responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of its youngest citizens. The situation has ignited a call for immediate and comprehensive measures to address this grave concern and protect Kerala’s children from harm.

Former HC Judges, Bureaucrats, Write To CJI To Take Suo Motu Cognizance Of DMK Min Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Hate Speech Against Hinduism

Former judges, government officials, and war veterans have collectively written a letter to the Chief Justice of India, urging him to initiate suo motu proceedings in response to the hate speech delivered by DMK Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin who had equated ‘Sanatan Dharma’ to diseases and mosquitoes and called for its eradication.

The letter addressed to CJI Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud highlights the concern that Udhayanidhi’s comments have the potential to incite communal disharmony and sectarian violence.

Speaking at the ‘Eradicate Sanatana Conclave’ event organized by Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers & Artists Association, Udhayanidhi Stalin said “The title of this conference has been excellently coined. You’ve named it as ‘Abolish Sanatanam Conference’ and not ‘Oppose Sanatanam Conference’, so my best wishes to that.

He further said “Mosquitoes, dengue, flu, malaria, corona – we should not oppose these things. They’ve to be eradicated completely. Same is the case with Santanam (Hinduism). Our first work should be to abolish/eradicate Sanatanam instead of opposing it. So, my appreciations to you all for giving an apt title to the meeting.”

The letter signed by 262 eminent citizens including former High Court judges, Chief Secretaries, Ambassadors, urged the Chief Justice of India to take note of the DMK Minister’s hate speech highlighting he recent order of the Supreme Court in Shaheen Abdulla Vs Union of India case, in which it directed the governments and police authorities to take suo motu action in such cases without waiting for the lodging of formal complaints.

“Not only did he make a hate speech but Udhayanidhi Stalin refused to apologize for his remarks. Rather he justified himself by stating: ‘I will say this continuously’ with reference to his remarks that Sanatana Dharma should be eradicated. He reiterated that he stands by his remarks and offered ambiguities and nuances that did little to address the concerns raised by people.”, the letter stated.

The letter also highlights that the actions of the Tamil Nadu State Government are in direct contradiction to the Supreme Court of India’s rulings in the cases of Shaheen Abdulla v. Union of India and Ors. and Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay v. Union of India. In these cases, State Governments were explicitly directed to take suo motu action against hate speech crimes without requiring a formal complaint.

Given the refusal of the State Government to take action and its disregard for the Court’s orders, the letter implores the Hon’ble Supreme Court to take suo motu notice of contempt. It called for holding the State Government of Tamil Nadu accountable for its inaction and for undermining the rule of law. The letter seeks decisive measures to prevent the spread of hate speech, preserve public order and peace, and requests the CJI to take immediate appropriate actions in this matter.

India Becomes Bharat: Modi Govt’s Official G20 Invite Calls President Of India As President Of Bharat, Congress Objects

In a significant development on the international stage, the term “President of Bharat” has been introduced officially for the first time in invitations extended to heads of state attending the G20 summit over the weekend. This change replaces the traditional usage of “President of India,” and it carries particular significance as India hosts this major event.

The invitation, sent by President Droupadi Murmu, inviting G20 foreign leaders and Chief Ministers for a dinner on September 9, now reads “President of Bharat” instead of “President of India.” Officials have noted that this marks the first alteration of India’s nomenclature for an official event.

Importantly, the term “Bharat” is enshrined in India’s Constitution, specifically in Article 1, which states, “India, that is Bharat, shall be a Union of States.”

The use of “Bharat” has also found its way into a G20 booklet distributed to foreign delegates, titled “Bharat, The Mother Of Democracy.” This booklet underscores India’s G20 presidency and its rich democratic heritage spanning thousands of years. It opens with the words, “In Bharat that is India, taking the consent of the people in governance has been part of life since earliest recorded history.”

The change was met with approval from various quarters, including Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who lauded it as a step forward for the nation’s civilization.

However, the alteration in the presidential invite has triggered a strong response from the opposition.

Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, and a close aide of Rahul Gandhi objected to the usage of President of Bharat.

“Now, Article 1 in the Constitution can read: “Bharat, that was India, shall be a Union of States.” But now even this “Union of States” is under assault.”, the Congress leader said attacking the Modi government.

This development follows a suggestion made by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the ideological mentor of the ruling party, advocating for the use of “Bharat” instead of “India.” The RSS chief, Mohan Bhagwat, emphasized the need to use “Bharat” consistently, asserting its timeless relevance on the global stage.

The “India versus Bharat” debate has gained momentum, especially after the opposition alliance adopted the acronym INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) in July, further fueling discussions about the country’s nomenclature and identity.

“Can You Eradicate Sanatana Dharma From Your Own Home First?”: BJP Leader SG Suryah Challenges Udhayanidhi Stalin

Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party’s State Secretary, SG Suryah has spoken out against the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party’s stance on Sanatana Dharma in the wake of Udhayanidhi Stalin‘s comments about eradicating Sanatana Dharma.

Sharing a video of his speech on Janam Tamil, Suryah questioned the DMK’s approach, highlighting what he saw as a contradiction within Udhayanidhi’s family itself.

“Udhayanidhi Stalin talks about eradicating Sanatana Dharma, but first he needs to eradicate it from his own home, change his own mother who is a follower of Sanatana Dharma,” Suryah stated, expressing skepticism about the DMK’s intentions. He went on to mention several instances of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s wife and Udhayanidhi Stalin’s mother, Durga Stalin’s active engagement with Hindu rituals and practices, including her recent visit to the Guruvayur temple and generous donations – be it the 32 sovereign crown or the machine to grind sandal paste for prasadam or the Thulabaram offered last year at the Guruvayur temple in Kerala.

Suryah pointed out that when a leader cannot change something within his own family, it is amusing to hear promises of eradicating a faith followed by 100 crore Hindus across India. He suggested that there might be political motivations behind such statements.

The political climate in Tamil Nadu has been charged, with the DMK government facing criticism for failing to fulfill its election promises over the past 28 months since it came to power. Suryah cited unfulfilled commitments, such as the 1000-rupee allotment for women and a 100-rupee subsidy per cylinder, as sources of discontent among the public.

Likewise, Suryah raised concerns about internal issues within the DMK party and instances of rowdy behaviour by its members. He highlighted a recent incident where a DMK member refused to vacate a property for 13 years, only to comply after repeated court orders following prolonged legal proceedings.

Suryah argued that, in light of these issues, the DMK might be diverting attention towards Hinduism and making negative statements about it in an attempt to sway public opinion in its favour.

He emphasised that all religions may have their positive and negative aspects, and it is unfair to single out Hinduism for continuous criticism, especially by the DMK. Suryah suggested that such rhetoric resembled the positions of Christian missionaries or Muslim organisations, prompting speculation about the DMK’s motives, particularly regarding electoral gains.

Suryah challenged the DMK to focus on governance and delivering on its promises rather than making divisive statements. He urged the party to work towards positive measures that benefit the people of Tamil Nadu and the nation as a whole.

“Is NTK DMK’s B-Team?” TN BJP Head Annamalai Asks As Seeman Calls DMK To Be A ‘Partner’, Says Seeman Is Scared Of DMK

K Annamalai, Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party President, voiced his concerns and disappointment regarding Seeman, the leader of Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK). Annamalai’s comments came after a recent complaint was filed against Seeman, which seemed to have a profound impact on the latter’s statements and political stance.

Annamalai acknowledged Seeman’s reputation for speaking his mind and admired his courage in addressing critical issues. However, he expressed disappointment, stating that Seeman’s response to the complaint had drastically altered his perception of the leader.

“After a lady filed a complaint, only now I realize how scared Seeman became,” Annamalai remarked, suggesting that the complaint made by actress Vijayalakshmi had seemingly forced Seeman to change his tone and stance. “The Seeman we are seeing today (after the complaint was filed) is Seeman 2.0,” he added.

The crux of Annamalai’s criticism lay in Seeman’s statement regarding his party’s relationship with Dravidian parties. Seeman appeared to have backtracked, referring to the parties as “relatives/partners (pangaali)”. Annamalai questioned Seeman’s motives, suggesting that he could have simply joined the DMK if he intended to support them openly.

Annamalai also said, “He also says that if DMK doesn’t contest the election in Ramanathapuram, he will. If the DMK contests, he will take back his candidature, he says. Instead of this he could have just said that he is the B-team of DMK, why this running around in circles? See how one complaint changes a man. I was totally surprised, I never expected he will say something like this. That he will say DMK is their relative. Instead he can just join DMK and contest the election under their symbol. Why is he so scared? Is there any secret deal or understanding with the DMK?” Annamalai pondered, raising questions about Seeman’s intentions.

What Is The Complaint Against Seeman?

Vijayalakshmi, an actor in the Kollywood film industry and know for her role in the movie Friends, has resurfaced with allegations against Seeman, claiming that her earlier complaint against him went unanswered for years. She expressed trust in the DMK government and the police. In 2020, Vijayalakshmi had attempted suicide, attributing her actions to harassment orchestrated by Seeman through party coordinator Hari Nadar. In a video, she detailed her ordeal and mentioned being slut-shamed. Her sister corroborated the harassment claims and revealed past complaints against Seeman, leading to their relocation to Bangalore. Her sister Usha made the following statement. She had shared, “She (Vijayalakshmi) was in a relationship with Seeman for two years. Seeman said he will marry Vijayalaksmi, but after he launched his political party, everything changed. Seeman and his partymen had been harassing her for the past couple of years. After her allegations, Hari Nadar was extradited from jail to face charges.”

“I Respect Sanatana Dharma, People’s Sentiments Shouldn’t Be Hurt”: Mamata On Udhayanidhi’s “Sanatana Dharma Should Be Eradicated Like Mosquitoes, Dengue, Corona” Remark

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee weighed in on the recent controversy sparked by DMK Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin’s comments on ‘Sanatana Dharma.’ She said that she respects Sanatana Dharma and emphasized that people’s sentiments should not be hurt.

Banerjee expressed her respect for Sanatan Dharma and its contributions to Indian culture, citing the origins of Rig Veda and Atharva Veda. She also highlighted that her government supports priests who conduct religious ceremonies.

“Every religion has separate sentiments. India is about ‘Unity in Diversity’ which is our origin. We should not be involved in any matter which might hurt a section of people”, the Bengal chief minister said.

Rather than condemning Udhayanidhi’s statement outright, Mamata Banerjee urged everyone to refrain from making comments that might offend any section of the population.

“Maybe he’s a junior, so he may not be knowing that (not to hurt any religion). I feel that they have to respect every religion.”, she said.

This statement from the Trinamool Congress chief followed her party spokesperson Kunal Ghosh’s condemnation of Udhayanidhi’s remarks, emphasizing that the comments were unrelated to the INDIA alliance and asserting that the TMC strongly disapproved of them.

Udhayanidhi’s call for the eradication of Sanatana Dharma has ignited a political controversy, with the Bharatiya Janata Party accusing the newly formed opposition alliance, INDIA, of disrespecting Hinduism. Udhayanidhi had stated that certain aspects should be eradicated rather than opposed, drawing parallels with diseases like dengue and COVID-19.

As the BJP intensified its criticism of INDIA, the Congress party emphasized its respect for all religions while defending political parties’ freedom to express their viewpoints.

“Agenda To Convert Hindus To Minority Religions”: BJP MLA Vanathi Srinivasan Slams Udhayanidhi For His Remarks To Eradicate Sanatana Dharma While Claiming To Be A Christian

BJP Mahila Morcha National President and Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan has slammed Udhayanidhi Stalin for his remarks on eradicating Sanatana Dharma (Hindu Religion) while being a Christian. Vanathi Srinivasan said that such remarks go against the principles of his sworn office.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s son Udhayanidhi Stalin stoked a controversy claiming that Sanatana Dharma like Dengue, Malaria, and Corona has to be eradicated and not just opposed.

The incident happened during the Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers and Artists Association organized “Eradicate Sanatanam Conclave” at Kamarajar Chennai on 2 September 2023, akin to the anti-Hindu Dismantling Global Hindutva conference that was held in 2021. This conference, which openly discusses the destruction of Hindu Dharma, has raised serious questions about the political climate in the state.

Following his comments, politicians including the alliance partners of DMK such as Congress and Shiva Sena, and some political commentators have condemned Udhayanidhi Stalin’s speech.

BJP Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan chastised Udhayanidhi saying, “Udhayanidhi speaking like this is against the religion of a particular people (Hindus). Secondly, it is against the beliefs of the people belonging to that community. Thirdly, Udayanidhi Stalin’s speech was part of an agenda to woo minority votes and to convert Hindus to minority religions.”

Vanathi Srinivasan added, “He has clearly said that his wife is a Christian and that he believes in Christianity. Therefore, while being a Christian, how can he justify not breaching his oath of office when he advocates for the elimination of Hindu religious beliefs?”

Udhayanidhi Stalin spilled the beans that he and his wife are Christians while speaking at a Christmas celebration event organized on 22 December 2022 at Chennai.

I’m proud to call myself a Christian. Today, all Sanghis (a colloquial reference denoting devout Hindus and supporters of RSS-BJP) will be burning. Because Sekarbabu (Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Minister) is saying ‘Hallelujah’, Udhayanidhi is saying ‘I’m a Christian’. Yes, I will say that I’m a Muslim too.”, DMK Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin had said.

DMK’s Anti-Hindu Politics That Every Indian Should Know About

A few months ago, DMK Chief and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, who was at the launch of the celebrations to commemorate the 200th birth anniversary of Ramalinga Adigal or Vallalar, a prominent Tamil saint, said, “There is an organised campaign running online to portray the Dravidian model of governance as one against spirituality and belief and that Dravidian model is not against spirituality or belief.

But there is no need for any organized campaign. The words uttered and the behaviour of DMK leaders show the party’s inherent anti-Hindu mindset.

Recently while speaking at the “Eradicate Sanatana Conclave” organized by Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers & Artists Association, MK Stalin’s son and DMK Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin’s gave a clarion call to eradicate Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism) and equated the religion to mosquitoes, dengue, malaria, and corona.

While this has managed to set off a huge political storm across the country, this isn’t the only instance when DMK leaders have made vitriolic speeches against Hinduism and followers of Sanatana Dharma.

From MK Stalin vulgarly describing Hindu rituals in marriage at an Islamic event, to failing to take action against his MPs who insult Hindu sentiments and rituals, from remaining silent about those who offend the Hindu faith, to rewarding them with government appointments, and forging relationships with Christian pastors who offend the Hindu faith, the DMK time and again has demonstrated that the party is inherently anti-Hindu.

It is well known fact that the Dravidian Stockists control the mainstream media and Tamil cinema. As a result, these anti-Hindu activities are either glorified or overlooked by the torchbearers in these mediums. Which is why MK Stalin mentions “ONLINE” when referring to people spreading “misinformation” about the DMK while they’re just exposing the anti-Hinduness that is inherent.

DMK’s visceral hatred for Hindus stems from its parent organisation, the Dravidar Kazhagam (DK), established by rabid anti-Hindu EV Ramasamy Naicker.

Words won’t suffice to fully expose the anti-Hindu venom spewed by DK, DMK and fellow Dravidian Stockists on a daily basis. In this article, an effort has been made to educate readers about the recent anti-Hindu words and deeds so that it stands as evidence for CM Stalin to introspect his statement.

The following is a list of anti-Hindu activities carried out by the DMK and its supporters.

DMK MP A. Raja’s Continuous Anti-Hindu Tirade

On September 7, 2022, while addressing an event organized by Dravida Kazhagam, DMK MP A. Raja abused Hindus and the Hindu faith saying all Shudras are children of prostitutes and they will remain so until they remain in Hinduism.

https://twitter.com/Fallssuruli1/status/1568999925408739328

Defending the foul-mouthed DMK MP, former Rajya Sabha MP and a senior leader of the DMK TKS Elangovan said that the “entry of Hinduism” has spoilt Tamil Nadu.

This is not the first time DMK MP A Raja who is also the Deputy General Secretary of the party has made comments disrespecting Hindu identities and the Hindu faith. There have been multiple instances where he has abused Hindus and Hindu Gods.

Earlier, the former Union Minister of the Congress-led UPA government had stirred a controversy saying, “I threw away all holy ashes (Vibuthi) and I also placed a elephant cracker below Ganesha’s statue, and it exploded,”.

DMK Govt Banned Dharmapuram Aadheenam’s Patttinapravesam

Pandering to the rabid anti-Hindu outfits like Dravida Kazhagam, the MK Stalin-led DMK Government in Tamil Nadu banned the age-old Pattina Pravesam ceremony of the Dharmapuram Adheenam.

Pattina Pravesam ceremony is a tradition where Hindu devotees carry the seer of the Dharmapuram Adheenam in a palanquin.

After opposition from Hindu organizations and the BJP, the DMK had to reverse the ban.

Demolition Of Temples In The Name Of Clearing Encroachments

Several temples have been razed down under the garb of ‘clearing encroachments’ pinnning it on the High Court.

In January 2022, an Anjaneya temple in Varadharajapuram, Mudichur, in the Kancheepuram district, was ordered to be demolished  despite heavy opposition from local residents and devotees.

The Vasudevar Temple in Sulur, Coimbatore, has been demolished.

Seven temples have been demolished in Kumarasamy Nagar, Coimbatore. One of the temples is said to be over one hundred years old.

A Sivan Temple in Sriperumbudur was demolished because it was built on government land.

On the other hand, the DMK government has turned a blind eye to encroachments made by other religious places. A church built by encroaching a water canal in Kilkattalai, Chennai has not been brought down despite the structure being marked in 2017.

Back in October 2021, the Madras High Court had directed the HR&CE Department to evict the Queensland amusement park from 21 acres of land in Poonamallee belonging to Kasi Viswanathaswami temple and Venugopalaswami temple.

The amusement park owner late ‘Oorvasi’ Selvaraj who also founded the King’s Engineering College, was a former Congress MLA and his wife Nalini Selvaraj is today a prominent Christian evangelist.

Despite the Court’s order, no action has been taken to evict the encroachers from the temple land.

The HR&CE department itself has been functioning inimical to the interests of temples and Hindu society. It has given permission for the construction of a fish market near the Kandasamy and Aadimottaiyamman temples in Chennai.

It has also proceeded with melting temple jewellery and convert them into gold biscuits for mortgaging them and raise funds for secular purposes.  The HR&CE department has also formed a committee to build 10 colleges using Hindu temple funds. The committee members include DMK MP Kanimozhi, an avowed atheist and Geetha Jeevan, Minister for Social Welfare and Women Empowerment, who is a Christian.

DMK’s Mouthpiece Threatening Madurai Adheenam Pontiff

Attacking the Madurai Adheenam, the DMK in its mouthpiece ‘Murasoli‘ had issued threats to the Saivite Mutt pontiff Sri La Sri Harihara Sri Gnanasambanda Desika Swamigal and also called him a ‘lunatic’ in light of his comments against the ruling DMK regime.

“What happened to Chinnavaal (taking a sly dig at Brahmins), Jayendrar during Jayalalithaa regime? We hope that today’s Madurai Adheenam remembers the incident when the ‘Mahaguru’ was made to count the jail bars. He was not just arrested and sent to jail. The many incidents that followed where his reputation was damaged, we hope the Madurai Adheenam realizes that. The Madurai Adheenam should not think that these incidents are being cited to threaten him”. the DMK mouthpiece had written.

DMK MLA TRB Raja’s Anti-Hindu Remarks

The son of DMK Lok Sabha MP T.R. Baalu, head of the DMK IT wing, and an MLA TRB Rajaa, posted a tweet with an image of freedom fighter Veer Savarkar on a black bird hitting the Hindu god Vishnu while riding a Garuda, painting Lord Vishnu and Veer Savarkar in a bad light.

He later deleted the tweet.

Platforming And Promoting Anti-Hindu Dravidian Stockists

Kannabiran Ravishankar who goes by the handle @kryes on Twitter, is the Editor-in-Chief of Dravida Pozhil, which according to its website is “a quarterly, bi-lingual, academic research journal with focus on Dravidian studies”. He is a high decibel foul-mouthed Dravidian Stockist promoted and platformed by the DK-DMK ecosystem. He recently made social media news for falsifying his degree from UC Berkeley. Kannabiran is known for distorting Hindu scriptures and fomenting hatred against Tamil Brahmin community with vile casteist abuses. He has made several derogatroy and vulgar remarks against Hindu Gods. Many of his tweets have foul language objectifying Tamil Brahmin women. He had even used private photos of Tamil brahmin families including that of children to spew the Dravidian ‘anti-Brahmin’ vitriol.

He was seen giving CM MK Stalin a book, appearing frequently in the Dravidian Professionals Forum, an organisation founded and headed by DMK  finance minister PTR Palanivel Thiagarajan, being close friends with DMK MP Senthil Kumar, and receiving a doctorate of letters from the Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science and Technology in front of Dravida Kazhagam (DK) President K. Veeramani.

Appointment Of Anti-Hindu Elements To Government Posts

Suba Vee, who is best known for his anti-Hindu speeches that specifically target the Brahmin community and who has been a resolute supporter of “Metoo Vairamuthu,” has been appointed to a government post despite being accused of being a sexist by lyricist Thamarai, who has worked with filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon and music director Harris Jayaraj.

Suba Veerapandian was appointed to the Advisory committee to Tamil Nadu Textbook and Educational Services Corporation and Chairperson of ‘Social Justice Monitoring Committee’.

Left: Suba Veerapandian, Centre: MK Stalin, Right: Abdul Hameed

Another rabid Hindu-hater who has been appointed to the committee is S. Abdul Hameed who identifies himself as Manushyaputhiran. He is allegedly a poet and participates in television debates in supportive of the DMK. He too is known for making anti-Hindu statements.

Giving Tickets To Abusers Of Hindu Gods

Ezhil Naganathan, who said that Naradha (the Hindu god) simply wanted to have sex with several women and that Lord Vishnu had acted like a “pimp,” was given the MLA ticket by the DMK for the Thousand Lights constituency in 2021, and he is currently the MLA.

Coaxing Christian Pastor Who Had Called To Punch Hindus In The Face And Make Them Bleed

Rabid Christian evangelist pastor Bishop Ezra Sargunam, during the protest against Farm law in Decemeber 2020, spoke derogatory about the personal life of PM Modi while having MK Stalin on stage. Earlier in 2018, he had asked SDPI (a fanatic Islamic organization) to go all out against Hindus who are questioning them in the light of the murder of PMK functionary Ramalingam who had opposed Islamic conversions. He had promised support to Vaiko, Thirumavalavan and M.K.Stalin if they undertook this endeavour. He had also said that there was nothing called the Hindu religion and instigated Christians to punch Hindus in the face and make them bleed if they did not recognize the truth.

Insulting Hindu Rituals

MK Stalin himself while speaking at a Muslim wedding function had said that if one were to look at the meaning of the mantras chanted during Hindu wedding ceremonies, it would turn out to be ‘disgusting’.

In another instance in September 2022, Dharmapuri DMK MP Senthil Kumar at a Bhoomi Pooja ceremony organized in his constituency, had reportedly kicked the sacred bricks and abused his own party cadres for conducting Bhoomi Pooja as per Hindu traditions.

Earlier in July 2022, the DMK MP who had gone to attend a Bhumi Pooja function of a lake restoration project in his constituency blurted out at government officials and forcefully stopped the traditional Hindu prayers from happening in an attempt to ‘secularize’ the event.

Giving A Free Pass To Abusers Of Hindus And Hindu Gods

In yet another instance of spewing venom against Hindus and Hindu Gods, rabid anti-Hindu fringe outfits like Dravidar Viduthalai Kazhagam (DVK), Thol Thirumavalavan’s Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), Popular Front of India, Communists, and other “Periyar”-ist organizations had organized a ‘mega-rally’ under the name of “Periyariya Unarvalargal Kottamaippu” in Madurai on May 29, 2022.

The rally’s slogans include, “That Maari (Goddess Amman) who begs for goat and pig sacrifice is a God? Is Lord Krishna, who sexually assaulted a woman, a god? When a guy and man have intercourse, will a child be born? Is it logical to refer to Ayyappan as God?” As usual, the Stalin government remains to be a silent spectator when Hindu religion was insulted.

Surendar Natarajan alias ‘Naathigan’ of Karuppar Koottam YouTube channel who was arrested for putting abusive and vulgar videos of Hindu Gods has been released from jail following the DMK’s rise to power. Another YouTube channel called U2 Brutus, which is well-known for being a vociferous supporter of the DMK, released a video titled “Pornography in Vedas” in which the host, who goes by “Minor,” and an alleged Saivite scholar by the name of Prakash defame the Vedas, the revered Hindu scripture.

YouTuber Minor Vijay also made disparaging remarks against Lord Nataraja and Thillai Kaliamman. However no action was taken against him despite political parties, general public, thousands of devotees and Sivanadiyars staged a protest in Chidambaram. In fact, he was felicitated and given an idol of E.V. Ramaswamy Naicker (knonwn as Periyar by his followers) by Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma. Subramanian at an event held in April 2022.

These kind of rabid, anti-Hindu hate speeches has not invited any action.

On the other hand the DMK government had registered First Information Reports (FIR) on around 75 people who assembled in Kapaleeswarar Temple to discuss ways and means to engage in Temple activities in September 2022.

This slapping of FIR even for a normal congregation at Mylapore temple is not an isolated occurrence. This DMK government is known for slapping FIR on those who speak for Hindu cause. Arresting stunt master Kanal Kannan for a speech demanding removal of EVR statue in front of Srirangam temple, arresting YouTubers of their dislike – Karthik Gopinath and Maridhas – on fabricated accusations, slapping goondas act on BJP leader Kalyanaraman, other arrests of BJP supporters, and Hindutva groups for tweets and posts are just a few examples.

The people of Tamil Nadu have had enough. There is a rising Hindu consciousness among the people which is what has pushed Stalin on the defensive which has made him say that his party DMK is not anti-religion.

But the facts lay bare – the DMK and its leaders continue to be anti-Hindu.
