DMK Scion Udhayanidhi Stalin Who Wants To Eradicate Sanatana Dharma To Be Coronated As TN Deputy CM At Auspicious Hour As Per Hindu Calendar

Udhayanidhi Stalin and MK Stalin

In a significant cabinet reshuffle, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin promoted his son, Udhayanidhi Stalin, to Deputy Chief Minister, continuing the DMK’s dynastic politics. Ironically, Udhayanidhi, who once called for the eradication of Sanatana Dharma, will be sworn in at 3:15 PM on 29 September 2024—an auspicious hour in the Hindu calendar. Despite the DMK’s rationalist stance, this timing reflects a contradiction in their public rejection of “Sanatana Dharma superstition,” exposing the party’s repeated hypocrisy in engaging with Hindu beliefs for political milestones.

Udhayanidhi, who currently serves as the sports minister in his father’s administration, was promoted just days after MK Stalin made a cryptic remark regarding his son’s potential rise when he said, “There will be no disappointment, there will be change”.

However, what is interesting to note is that the DMK scion who had given a clarion call to eradicate Sanatana Dharma (aka Hinduism) will swear in as Deputy Chief Minister at 3:15 PM on 29 September 2024, which is an auspicious hour according to the Hindu calendar.

On 29 September 2024, the inauspicious times are between 04:30 PM and 06:00 PM (Ragukaalam) and 12:00 Noon and 01:30 PM (Yamagandam).

Rahukalam and Yamagandam are specific Vedic astrology periods considered inauspicious for starting new ventures or essential activities. Based on planetary positions, they are observed primarily in South India, especially among Tamil Hindus.

Rahukalam refers to the period of the day ruled by the shadow planet Rahu. In astrology, Rahu is considered a malefic planet, symbolizing obstacles, confusion, and unexpected challenges.

Hindus believe any new or essential activity started during Rahukalam will not yield positive results.

Yamagandam is another period ruled by Yama, the god of death. Like Rahukalam, it is considered inauspicious to begin new endeavours.

Udhayanidhi’s swearing-in is 3:15 PM, which falls under the Kuligai period. During this period, tasks that will yield positive results and have the potential to repeat are performed. In Udhayanidhi Stalin’s case, he could potentially become Deputy CM or Chief Minister again.

This is in complete contrast to how the DMK fashions itself to be a ‘rationalistic’ party that does not believe in ‘superstition’ thus exposing the hypocrisy of Dravidianists.

This is not the first time the DMK has chosen an auspicious time according to the Hindu calendar to elevate the scion.

In December 2022, the crown prince Udhayanidhi Stalin was sworn in as a Minister in his father’s government on on 14 December 2022 at 09:30 AM, a ‘Subha Muhurtham’ day with the auspicious time falling between 09:15 AM and 10:15 AM. It was also the day of Thirumanjana Sevai (sacred bath ceremony) for the Parthasarathy Perumal Temple at Tiruvallikeni. It is noteworthy to mention that Udhyanidhi is the MLA of Chepauk-Tiruvallikeni.

MP CM Mohan Yadav Slams Rahul Over ‘Celebrity Event’ Remarks About Ram Mandir Inauguration Ceremony

MP CM Mohan Yadav Slams Rahul Over 'Celebrity Event' Remarks About Ram Mandir Inauguration Ceremony

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Saturday criticised Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi for his remarks about the January 22 Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony in Ayodhya, which the Congress leader apparently compared to a “celebrity event” as common persons were not present during the programme.

The CM’s reaction came after Rahul Gandhi, while addressing an election rally in Haryana, hit out at the BJP, seeking an explanation on why common people were not invited in the occasion of the Ram Mandir inauguration. Hitting back at the Congress MP, the Madhya Pradesh CM questioned “did Rahul Gandhi ever visit Ram Mandir?” During his speech, Rahul Gandhi criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government for “turning Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony into a celebrity event”. “You know why they (BJP) lost in Ayodhya? They opened a mandir in Ayodhya. You saw many well-known personalities but not a single poor farmer was there. This is the reason why they lost,” Rahul Gandhi said. The Congress leader further remarked: “Did you see any labourers or farmers? No. It was all dance and song, with the media cheering. This is the reality.” Responding to Rahul Gandhi’s remarks, Mohan Yadav said the Congress always stood with those who opened fire at ‘karsevaks’.

“The Congress never cherished the Pran Pratishtha ceremony… the party has been hurting the sentiments of Hindus time and again. Did Rahul Gandhi ever visit Ram Mandir ever in his life? No, but he would hurt the sentiments of crore of Hindus through his comments,” Mohan Yadav said. In January this year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated Ram Mandir in the temple city of Ayodhya, which is part of the Faizabad Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh.

However, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) faced a major setback when Samajwadi Party’s Awadhesh Prasad, a nine-time MLA and former minister from the Pasi (Scheduled Caste) community, defeated two-time BJP MP Lallu Singh by over 55,000 votes in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

India Signs Global Ocean Treaty To Protect Marine Biodiversity On High Seas

India Signs Global Ocean Treaty To Protect Marine Biodiversity On High Seas

India has signed Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ) — an international agreement to protect marine biodiversity on the high seas, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar informed. Minister Jaishankar signed the BBNJ agreement at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. “Signed the Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ) Agreement today at the UN HQ,” he informed in a social media post on X.

“India is proud to join the BBNJ Agreement, an important step towards ensuring that our oceans remain healthy and resilient,” he added. The agreement, an international legally binding treaty, comes under the Law of the Seas Treaty. It seeks to ensure that marine life is conserved by countries and is used sustainably on the high seas. High seas are beyond nations’ territorial waters and the exclusive economic zone that could extend up to 370 km from the shores. The agreement, adopted internationally last year, bans destructive fishing and pollution. It was agreed upon in March 2023, and is open for signature for two years, starting September 2023. It enters into force 120 days after the 60th ratification. Currently, about 100 countries have signed it, and eight of them have ratified it.

As per the agreement, nations cannot claim sovereign rights over marine resources on the high seas, and also it ensures equitable sharing of benefits from those resources. The Cabinet approved India’s participation in the treaty in July. Jitendra Singh, the Minister of State for Earth Sciences, affirmed “India’s commitment and proactiveness to the global cause of environmental conservation and sustainable development.” The treaty can help boost India’s strategic presence in areas beyond our Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), and will further strengthen the country’s marine conservation efforts.

Jan Vishwas 2.0 To Further Boost ‘Make in India’ Initiative: Centre

make in india oneplus

The government on Saturday said it is working on nearly 100 rules and laws of various departments to bring ‘Jan Vishwas 2.0’ bill to achieve a greater ease of doing business environment in the country. The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) said in a statement that the work is being done as the priority area under the first 100-day thrust of the present government.

To support the “Make in India” initiative, the government enacted the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023. With the primary objective of decriminalising minor offences across 42 Central Acts, the Act eliminates 183 criminal provisions across 19 Ministries/Departments. “A key objective of the Jan Vishwas Act is to remove outdated provisions that no longer serve the evolving technological and business environment,” said the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. This comprehensive reform not only saves time and costs for both the government and the judiciary but also fosters a more conducive environment for businesses and entrepreneurs by reducing unnecessary legal hurdles.

The Joint Parliamentary Committee, which reviewed the Jan Vishwas Bill, has recommended extending the exercise to further Acts, ensuring the continuous modernization of India’s regulatory framework. According to the government, the Jan Vishwas Act introduces civil penalties and administrative actions for minor technical and procedural lapses, reducing the fear of criminal penalties and enhancing the ease of doing business and living in the country.

This is a major step towards aligning India’s regulatory framework with global business standards, promoting investor confidence, and facilitating smoother business operations. In the Union Budget, the government took a crucial initiative to nurture further the country’s telecom, ISP and allied industry. To enhance the ease of doing business, the government is working on the ‘Jan Vishwas Bill 2.0’.

‘Siddaramaiah Appointed Lokayukta Can’t Probe Against Him Fairly’, Says Pralhad Joshi

'Siddaramaiah Appointed Lokayukta Can't Probe Against Him Fairly', Says Pralhad Joshi

Union Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Minister Pralhad Joshi said on Saturday that Lokayukta, appointed by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, cannot conduct a fair probe against him in the MUDA case. Speaking to media persons in Hubballi, he demanded that Siddaramaiah should either resign and face an investigation or recommend a CBI probe into the case.

The union minister urged, “If Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has any moral integrity, he should resign and face an investigation.” “Since Siddaramaiah himself is the prime accused in the MUDA scam, officials here will not investigate him properly. As a result, the truth will not come out,” he stated. “Recently, CM Siddaramaiah appointed his preferred individuals to the Lokayukta. With this in place, expecting a transparent investigation by the Lokayukta or the Karnataka Police against the CM is unrealistic. Hence, the CM should either resign from his position and face the probe or recommend a CBI investigation,” Joshi insisted.

He noted that the arrest of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is a matter of law. However, given that he heads the government, the case might drag on for a long time. The union minister further criticised the grand old party, stating, “The Congress party and its government have lost all moral credibility. They are operating shamelessly.” He charged that Congress high command, including Sonia Gandhi, was “deeply involved” in numerous corruption scams, such as the Vadra land scam.

On Siddaramaiah ruling out resignation, saying that after the Godhra incident in 2002, then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi did not quit, the Union Minister asked the Karnataka Chief Minister why he was raking up the issue now. “The Congress tried to implicate both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, but truth won,” the union minister added.

Hezbollah Confirms Death Of Nasrallah In Beirut Strike

Hezbollah Confirms Death Of Nasrallah In Beirut Strike

The Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah on Saturday announced that its chief, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah was “martyred in a criminal attack” on the southern suburbs of Beirut, late Friday evening.

“Our leadership is committed to continuing the jihad against the enemy and supporting Gaza and defending Lebanon and its steadfast nation,” the organisation said in a statement.

According to Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health, the successive Israeli raids on Haret Hreik in the southern suburbs of Beirut led, according to an unofficial toll, to the death of six people and the injury of 91, including 14 who required hospitalization.

Earlier in the day, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah has been eliminated following a deadly strike on the headquarters of the Lebanese militant group in the southern suburbs of Beirut late Friday. The IDF stated that Nasrallah will no longer be able to “terrorise the world”.

Nasrallah has been associated with Hezbollah since the terror group’s inception in 1982 following the Israeli invasion of Lebanon. In 1992, he took over as the leader of the organisation with an aim to make it a hybrid political-military entity.

“During the 32 years of the terrorist Hassan Nasrallah’s tenure as the leader of Hezbollah, he was responsible for the murder of many Israeli civilians and soldiers, and for the planning and execution of thousands of terrorist acts against the State of Israel and around the world. Nasrallah was the main decision-maker and the sole approver of strategic-systemic decisions, and sometimes also tactical decisions in the organisation,” Israeli Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, said on Saturday.

The IDF said that, along with Nasrallah, several other commanders of the terrorist organisation – including Ali Karchi, the commander of Hezbollah’s southern front – have been eliminated in the strikes by the fighter jets of the Israeli Air Force “under the precise intelligence guidance of the intelligence wing and the defence system”, at the underground central headquarters of Hezbollah, located under a residential building, in the Daha area of Beirut. Israel also vowed to continue its operation “New Order” to eliminate leaders of the terror organisations.

“This is not the end of the toolbox, it should be very clear. There are more tools to go forward. The message is a simple message: whoever threatens the citizens of the State of Israel – we will know how to reach them. In the north, in the south, even in more distant places,” said Halevi. Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has reportedly been moved to a safe and secure location, has said that Friday’s strikes will not be able to inflict any significant damage on the “solid structure” of Lebanon’s Hezbollah. “All the Resistance forces in the region stand with and support Hezbollah.

The Resistance forces will determine the fate of this region with the honorable Hezbollah leading the way,” a statement issued by Khamenei’s account on X said Saturday afternoon which was his first reaction to Israel’s overnight attack on Lebanon. “The Lebanese haven’t forgotten there was a time when the soldiers of the occupying regime were advancing toward Beirut, & Hezbollah stopped them & made Lebanon proud. Today too, by the grace & power of God, Lebanon will make the transgressing, malicious enemy regret its actions,” he added.

2016 Surgical Strikes Showed India Can Strike Within Enemy Territory, Says PM Modi In J&K

2016 Surgical Strikes Showed India Can Strike Within Enemy Territory, Says PM Modi In J&K

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said the 2016 surgical strikes showed the world a new India that can strike within enemy territory. PM Modi said the surgical strikes have taught the biggest lessons to the “mentors of terrorism” as they have understood if they do any mischief again, they will be hit inside their own country.

Addressing a large BJP campaign rally in M.A.Stadium here, PM Modi recalled the surgical strikes carried out by the country’s defence forces deep inside Pakistan on September 28, 2016. These surgical strikes were carried out in retaliation to the Uri terror attack of September 18, 2016, in which 19 soldiers were killed by terrorists sponsored and guided from across the Line of Control (LoC).

“The enemy (Pakistan) knows that if they do anything serious in our country, then Modi will hit them deep inside their country,” he reiterated.

PM Modi said people can never pardon Congress for seeking proof of surgical strikes from the country’s defence forces. “Congress had no money for our defence forces, but we never think of financial constraints when it comes to our defence forces. We implemented the one-rank-one pension scheme and this benefits every family of our defence forces. Congress is in the hands of urban Naxalites. Whenever Infiltration and intrusion of terrorists occurs, Congress feels happy. They see their vote bank in terrorists,” said PM Modi.

He said, “I am filled with great patriotism when I visit Jammu. This land has produced Maharaja Hari Singh, Mehr Chand Mahajan and Pandit Premnarh Dogra. Today is the birth anniversary of Martyr Bhagat Singh, I salute his martyrdom.” “Today is my last campaign rally in J&K for the Assembly elections. People of J&K are tired of three families of NC, PDP and Congress. People here don’t want their rule anymore where corruption is rampant. The people of J&K want peace and a better future for their children and that is the reason the people of J&K want a BJP government here. Large participation in the last two phases proves that in both these phases, people have voted for BJP and now the first majority government of BJP is going to be formed in J&K and that is a certainty,” the PM said.

“People of Jammu never had this opportunity before. For the first time, a government of the people’s choice of Jammu is going to be formed. This is the city of temples and do not let go of this opportunity. Jammu has suffered gross discrimination and BJP will remove that discrimination. On October 8 results with come. And, on October 12, is the Vijayadashami and this will be the Vijayadashami of our success. The slogan all around is ‘Jammu Ki Yahi Pukar, Aye Rahi Hai Bajpa Sarkar,” PM Modi said. “Congress, NC and PDP are the worst enemies of Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s Constitution. Many communities were deprived of democratic rights by these families. BJP has given voting rights to PoK refugees, Valmiki and Gorkha Samaj. These people have made great contributions to the development of J&K and the enemies of the Constitution deprived them of their rights. These enemies of the Constitution had not allowed Panchayat, BDC and DDC elections. They did not give reservations to the weaker communities of J&K. Reservations to these communities were given by us. These reservations have given political representation to these communities. And these communities are now wholeheartedly voting for the BJP,” the PM said.

“Congress, NC and PDP have injured many people and irrespective of their caste and religion, we are applying balm on these injuries now. For Kashmiri Pandits, we have given the Shaheed Tika Lal Taploo Scheme. They (Congress, NC &PDP) say once they return to form the government, they will bring back the old dispensation, which has been highly unjust to the Jammu people. Watch their speeches. How they attack the Dogra heritage. How they insult Maharaja Hari Singh. The country’s most corrupt Congress is blaming the Dogra rule for corruption,” the Prime Minister mentioned. “We are committed to removing the historical discrimination against the people of Jammu region. In the last 20 years, you have AIIMS, ITI, IIM and roads in the farthest areas of Kathua and Samba. Work is going on the Jammu ring road and this will reduce the load on your roads. Congress considered border villages as the last villages while we call them first villages. Electric buses are plying here now. The airport and railway station are being refurbished. A ropeway is being laid from the Bahu Fort to the Mahamaya temple. For tourism, work is going on in Gharana wetland, Surinsar Lake and the city BSF Chungi post. Tawi River Front will become a major entertainment attraction for Jammu. You have a major orthopaedic hospital here. Many nursing colleges and medical colleges have already been started here,” the PM said.

Assuring the business community, PM Modi said, “I want to assure the local businessmen that the coming days are going to bring prosperity to them as well. New industries will come up here so that local youth get locally employed. We have brought in transparency in recruitment. In previous governments, only favourites of Congress, NC and PDP would get employment. We have to ensure that such a system never returns to power in J&K. For women empowerment, we are giving help to self-help groups, we are making Lakhpati Didis, and we are imparting drone training to our sisters and daughters.” “Bills on healthcare will be zero, electric power tariff will be zero. Golden Card has opened new vistas of healthcare. I have heard an old man on social media in which he said he was operated thrice under the golden card scheme and his son was also treated once under this scheme. You will also earn by selling electric power. We will give you Rs 80,000 for solar panels on your rooftops. Your power bill will be zero and every family will have Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 saving every year. In previous regimes, there have only been potholes in every field of life and Modi is working overtime to fill those potholes,” said the PM.

The Prime Minister reiterated his commitment to restoring the statehood status of the UT. He said, “The BJP will make J&K a full-fledged state.” All the 24 BJP candidates fighting the election in Jammu, Samba, Kathua and Udhampur districts, where voting is scheduled on October 1, were present on the stage. PM Modi raised their hands in victory anticipation before the rally and made a fervent appeal to voters to elect BJP candidates for the J&K legislative Assembly. Jammu district has 11, Kathua 6, Samba 3 and Udhampur 4 seats. These constituencies will go to vote in the third phase and final phase is on October 1 and counting is scheduled on October 8.

J&K has 90 Assembly seats after fresh delimitation. There are 47 seats in the Kashmir division and 43 seats in the Jammu division. Of these 9 are ST seats and 7 are SC seats. Five members belonging to the migrant Kashmiri Pandit community and West Pakistan refugees will be nominated to the J&K Assembly and all of them will have voting rights during government formation.

Police Seize 150-Year-Old Stolen Panchaloha Idols; Three Arrested

Police Seize 150-Year-Old Stolen Panchaloha Idols; Three Arrested

During a vehicle check, police stopped a bike and discovered three panchaloha idols, arresting three individuals. Acting on a tip-off, TP Chatram police intercepted the bike near Madina Mosque on September 24. When questioned, the rider gave inconsistent responses and could not provide the registration certificate, driving license, or other necessary documents. Growing suspicious, the officers found three panchaloha idols in his possession. The rider was identified as Irshad Mohammed from Parthipattu village. The idols, depicting Lord Murugan and his consorts Valli and Deivanai, were reported stolen from various temples across the state. The statues are believed to be around 150 years old, and police have sent pictures to the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) for verification.

Based on Irshad’s information, police arrested two more suspects: Akash Ebenezer, a history-sheeter from TP Chatram, and L Raja from KK Nagar. The trio was planning to sell the idols, claiming they were valuable antiquities.

In related news, during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the United States, the U.S. government facilitated the return of 297 antiquities stolen or trafficked from India. These items will soon be repatriated. In a symbolic ceremony, a select few artefacts were displayed to Prime Minister Modi and President Biden during their bilateral meeting in Wilmington, Delaware. Prime Minister Modi expressed his gratitude to President Biden, emphasizing that these artefacts represent not only India’s material history but also its civilizational and cultural essence.
