Following the debacle in the recently concluded Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections, Vice President of actor-politician Kamal Haasan’s Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) has quit the party.
According to media reports, most exits from the party are about to happen in the coming days. He had reportedly told that Kamal Haasan has not changed his approach towards the party and its cadres even after the disastrous performance of MNM. He said that he doesn’t see the actor changing his attitude.
Dr. R. Mahendran is a doctor in Pollachi and a successful entrepreneur. He was one of the key figures of the party and had contested the 2019 Parliamentary Elections from Coimbatore coming third with about 1.5 lakh votes.
