Nimisha Verma, a Congress and Cockroach supporter, Umar Khalid fangirl, who claims to be an influencer – a personal mentor who allegedly promotes trauma and emotional healing, has called on followers to compile a dossier of right-wing influencers, including their photographs, social media handles and family details. In an Instagram Story, she declared that they would be dealt with “individually now one by one”, adding that it was only a matter of months.
Verma, who has around 115,000 followers on Instagram, made the remarks amid her repeated social media posts about Umar Khalid, the jailed former JNU student accused in the 2020 Delhi riots conspiracy case.
Her statements are an open call to target nationalist influencers and their families.

“Poore Khaandaan Ki Details”: Nimisha Verma Wants Lists of Right-Wing Influencers and Their Families
In an Instagram Story, Verma wrote, “Har ek Right wing influencer ka chehra ache se yaad karlo. Infact. PDF banake share karo please? with their names, pictures and handles etc. poore khaandaan ki details. We are going to handle them individually now one by one. Bas kuchi mahino ki baat hai.”
She urged people to remember the faces of every right-wing influencer and prepare a PDF containing their names, photographs, social media handles and details of their entire families.
She added that they would be dealt with individually, one by one, and that it was only a matter of a few months.
The call to compile family details alongside a declaration of future retaliation is targeting and intimidation of people for their political views.

“My Motive Is Just One”: Verma Vows to Take Revenge
In another video, Verma spoke at length about her plans for the day when the government falls and what she described as the reclamation of mainstream media.
She said, “The day is not far when the government will fall and we will reclaim the mainstream media.”
She then described her intention to take revenge against right-wing influencers and journalists whom she accused of spreading propaganda and ‘destroying’ the lives of people such as Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam.
Verma singled out Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami and other right-wing influencers, saying she wanted them to be publicly humiliated.
“I have decided that that day, my motive is just one and I will take revenge.”
Invoking Mahatma Gandhi’s statement that an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, Verma added, “I know that Mahatma Gandhi said an eye for an eye makes the whole world go blind, but I will learn Braille.”
She also said she wanted journalists and influencers to be publicly confronted and made to apologise for what she described as false reporting and propaganda.
Verma went on to say that she was willing to contest elections or become a reporter to pursue this objective. She even described an electoral campaign centred on her intention to publicly slipper Arnab Goswami on Republic TV.
“I will come with only one agenda that I want Arnab Goswami slippered in public on Republic TV.”
She concluded by calling on followers to collect profile links, screenshots and videos of allegedly problematic statements made by right-wing influencers and journalists, and preserve them in a document for future use.
“Note down all the profile links of right wing influencers and the videos of all the problematic statements they made; take screenshots of everything, put it in a document and share it among yourselves.”
While Verma framed the proposed campaign as retaliation for alleged media wrongdoing, her call to compile dossiers containing family details, coupled with her stated intention to take revenge, is purely targeted intimidation.

From Crying Over Umar Khalid’s Prison Letter to Promising Revenge
Verma has also repeatedly posted emotional videos about Umar Khalid, who has remained in custody in connection with the 2020 Delhi riots conspiracy case.
In one video, she broke down while discussing a letter from Khalid describing his conditions in prison. She said she had just arrived home and begun reading the letter, before becoming visibly emotional.
In the passage she discussed, Khalid reportedly wrote that he had been in prison for more than 2,100 days and had suffered severe stomach problems for two days. He described having to clean the washroom himself and wanting medicine.

For the last two days, I’ve barely slept because I’ve had severe stomach issues. I’ve had loose motions for two days and I’ve spent most of my time going in and out of the washroom. I have to clean the washroom by myself. I want medicine.”

Verma cried while reacting to his account, saying, “This man is alive, he has done nothing wrong and he has to go through this.”
She also said she needed to speak to her therapist after reading the letter.

Social media posts have also circulated claims about Nimisha Verma’s relationships and marriages, naming Samar Mehdi and Tanvir Arijaz. One post alleges that she entered into nikah more than once after falling in love, and frames these relationships as part of a supposed effort to take revenge on Hindus. These claims require independent verification and should not be presented as established facts without supporting records or reliable reporting.

Ex-Partner Samar Mehdi Accuses Nimisha Verma of Manipulation and False Claims
In a separate development, Verma’s former partner, Samar Mehdi, has publicly disputed her earlier account of their relationship and accused her of making false claims that exposed him to threats.
In a statement shared online, Mehdi said their relationship had been founded partly on a shared interest in spirituality and that he had not practised his religion during their time together. He alleged that Verma subsequently framed their relationship in the context of love jihad during a period of Hindu-Muslim riots, potentially exposing him to targeted attacks.
Mehdi disputed her claim that he had ghosted her and abandoned her alone in a new city. According to him, they had mutually agreed to separate two months before her posts appeared, and he had left their shared home during the lockdown only after being assured that her friends would arrive to stay with her.
He further alleged that they remained in contact until shortly before her posts were published, despite his attempts to maintain boundaries after their breakup.
Recounting a conversation after he received death threats, Mehdi quoted himself as asking Verma: “Do you know that I am getting death threats right now?”
According to his account, Verma responded that she had acted out of anger because he had stopped letting her into his life. He also alleged that she told him she would protect him and “break their face” if anyone tried to harm him.
Mehdi said that, shortly after their conversation, Verma posted an Instagram Story claiming that he had contacted her but that she was not ready to forgive him.
He described the experience as confusing and alleged that her online campaign continued afterwards.
