TN Govt to reward ₹5000 to those who speak in pure Tamil

Tamil Nadu Goverment has announced a scheme for awarding those who speak in pure Tamil.

The Director of Senthamizh Sorpirapiyal Agaramuthali Thitta Iyakkam has announced that 3 winners who can speak Tamil without the mixing words from other language like English that we use on a day-to-day words colloquial/English words would be given a cash prize of ₹5000.

Those interested can download the application form at www.sorkuvai.com and submit it to the department by August 15th.

The Tamil Nadu Government in order to compile and publish etymology in Tamil for the benefit of all, including scholars, public, researchers, students, started the Senthamizh Sorpirapiyal Agaramuthali Thitta Iyakkam.

The initiative comes under Minister Tamil Official Language, Tamil Culture and Archaeology Ma Foi K. Pandiarajan.
