Vanathi Srinivasan, the BJP MLA from Coimbatore South has announced a helpline for people in her constituency to register complaints of bribery by government officials, people’s representatives (panchayat leaders, councillors, chairman, etc) or their men.
“When constructing a house or borewell in Coimbatore Corporation, if at all any official, contract worker or people’s representatives or their henchmen ask for bribe, you can register a complaint through our helpline number.”, BJP MLA Vanathi Srinivasan said in her video message announcing the initiative.
The helpline number is 9543458359.
She said that people can give the names and details of instances of officials and local body representatives demanding bribes, post which it will be taken up with the appropriate authorities.
Vanathi Srinivasan assured that the BJP will help and give protection to those who file complaints against corrupt officials.
I am announcing a helpline number for my constituency so any complaints regarding any person demanding bribes can be resolved and necessary action can be taken.
