Suresh Sambandam, the CEO of a company named ‘Kissflow’ and someone who is popularly known for being DMK’s unofficial brand ambassador, shared a video of a “Kovai doctor” named Dr M Pradeep Kumar advising people who not to vote for in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
In the video, Pradeep Kumar says, “Hello, I am Dr Pradeep Kumar from Coimbatore. Have you decided whom to vote for in this election? I have decided. I am a doctor. My job is to treat patients. I do not need to know what religion or caste the patients belong to. My job is to treat them and cure them. This rule applies to the MP, MLA, CM, PM that you elect too. They have to do good for the people without knowing what caste or religion they belong to. They are showing an illusion of development and sowing seeds of hatred and dividing the nation – I do not want to carry the burden of voting for someone who kills my brother, my friend, my sister, or a baby. Ensure that your hands are not stained by that blood.”

It is noteworthy that the same Dr Pradeep Kumar who positioned himself as a doctor happened to be the son-in-law of a former DMK minister. Interestingly, this doctor was not even from Coimbatore. A netizen shared the truth about Pradeep Kumar and debunked the fake news that DMK supporters were spreading. The netizen wrote, “He is not from Kovai. He is my neighbour – next door. We have played street cricket together for many years. He is son-in-law of a former DMK minister, FYI sir.”

He further stated that Pradeep Kumar was the son-in-law of former DMK Minister of Forests, N Selvaraj.
