RSS and BJP volunteers operationalize defunct BGML hospital in Kolar

As the number of Wuhan Virus cases rises in Karnataka, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has cleaned the premises of BGML Hospital at Kolara, Karnataka and are very close to operationalizing the hospital as Covid Care Centre that had been closed for the past 20 years.

The BGML hospital is a 140 years old 800 bed hospital that was established by the British and has been left in a dilapidated stage for over 20 years and now it has been refurbished as a Covid care centre.

Leading the initiative was the RSS Swayamsevak supported by the Bhartia Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament from Kolar, Sadappa Muniswamy.

Hundreds of BJP and RSS Swayamsevaks have been working nonstop for the past 15 days to get this defunct hospital ready and have so far removed over 400 tractor load of dirt from the premises.

Many of the volunteers with the background as electricians and mason are working round the clock to get this hospital up to standard and it will be ready in the coming week.
