Ng*tha, Ng*mma, P*tta, Ng*kkala O*i: This Is How Expelled DMK Man Shivaji Krishnamoorthy Abused Guv Ravi, Annamalai, Khushbu

In what was supposed to be an event to commemorate the 100th birthday of the late Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader, Karunanidhi, expelled DMK stage speaker Sivaji Krishnamoorthy took to the stage and delivered a highly controversial and vitriol-filled speech that left everyone astounded and aghast. Krishnamoorthy, known for his crass remarks, spared no one as he directed derogatory verbal attacks toward several political figures.

Addressing the audience, Krishnamurthy began by expressing his disdain for Ms. Khusbhu Sundar, a former DMK member (and present BJP member) who had defected to another party. He admonished those aspiring to be actors, cautioning them against following in Khusbhu’s footsteps. “If one wants to pursue acting, they must not emulate Khusbhu. She is my old sister-in-law (pazheya Anni), now she is akin to an old vessel that has been refurbished for reuse,” Krishnamoorthy proclaimed.

He then shifted his focus to recent events, specifically the arrest of Liquor Minister, Senthil Balaji. Taking aim at key individuals from rival parties, Krishnamoorthy openly addressed EPS, CV Shanmugam, and D. Jayakumar of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK). Jayakumar, in particular, became the target of Krishnamurthy’s vitriol.

Sivaji repeatedly refers to D Jayakumar of the ADMK as “Sindhu vootukaaran” (husband of Sindhu). He even proclaims that he knows Jayakumar as the husband of Sindhu and has trouble recollecting his name. He says, “the same man made a young girl who came looking for work pregnant”, and referred to him as “Poramboku Potta, how dare he speak on TV about Senthil Balaji’s arrest”, and goes on to spew further vitriol that Jayakumar was born to someone who sold movie tickets in black.

Unafraid of consequences, Krishnamoorthy continued with his vulgar speech. “I don’t care, and I am not afraid to speak my mind!” he proclaimed. “Even if the police arrest me, I would gladly sleep on a bench or in Puzhal prison. After all, Puzhal prison belongs to my grandpa, Dr. Kalaignar. It was his vision and effort that brought it into existence. So, it is, in essence, ours. Even though my house has a cement floor, I can sleep peacefully in Puzhal prison.”

Further intensifying the controversy, Krishnamoorthy made bold remarks about dietary preferences, vowing to cause chaos if denied his desired quantity of meat during his potential incarceration. “If it’s a Friday, mark my words, I will raise hell and ensure I get my 100 grams of meat. And not just me, I won’t let anyone around me enjoy their meals either,” he declared.

Sivaji Krishnamoorthy continued his obnoxious speech by reflecting on the DMK’s legacy and highlighting the party’s commitment to what he calls as “inclusivity”. “Unlike the AIADMK, which thrives on removals, the DMK believes in acceptance and unity. We embrace everyone. While VSB may have committed an act that can be undone, Jayakumar’s transgressions cannot be so easily remedied. Remember, the DMK is like the sacred Ganga. A dip in its waters purifies even the most tainted soul and makes them Uttaman.”

Next, he latches on to abuse the Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi. Krishnamoorthy criticized the Governor’s response to a petition submitted by the DMK demanding the reallocation of VSB’s portfolios. He pointed out the Governor’s apparent change in position, stating, “You said it was wrong, you said you won’t accept. If you were born to your mother, you should have been strong about your stand, ngotha, you changed it.”

He continues saying, “This is DMK. We won’t commit to anything, but if we do, we will give our lives to get it done.” This is not the first time Sivaji Krishnamoorthy has abused the Governor. He recently threatened to kill the Governor and was suspended from the party for his remarks. Within a few months, he was inducted into the party saying that he has apologized for his speech.

Krishnamoorthy further continues the speech by saying, “People would have built parties with money and everything, but it is only the DMK that was built with our tongues and mouth and the Murasoli paper that enabled us to capture power,” he exclaimed.

Krishnamurthy’s focus then shifted toward the recent controversy surrounding VSB, a prominent political figure. He compared Senthil Balaji’s actions, allegedly promising a job in return for a bribe, to those of D Jayakumar, who he claimed impregnated a young girl seeking employment. He then provocatively questioned the ability to undo Jayakumar’s actions while insinuating that Senthil Balaji’s transgressions were at least rectifiable.

“Those who cannot undo something are men, but VSB has done something that can be undone, and that too he did it in the ADMK regime when your mother (Aatha) was in power, poramboke Pazhanisami. What was your mother (Ngomma) doing, what were you all doing?”

He then shifted focus to Tamil Nadu BJP President K Annamalai. Krishnamurthy mocked Annamalai’s appearance, stating, “If you look at him from one side, he looks like a male, and from another side, he looks like a female. If you look straight, he looks like a ‘rendugattan’ (neither this nor that).”

Krishnamurthy’s speech took a dig at Annamalai’s claim of owning a ₹ 3.5 lakh watch. He said the watch cost ₹ 3.5L, so we asked Annamalai to show us the bill. but instead, he shows the receipt like how mechanics give a receipt/memo when you get your vehicle repaired. Someone in the audience corrects him saying, it is not a receipt, it is an estimate.

“An Okkala Oli (cuss word in Tamil) who doesn’t know the difference between an estimate and a bill, is made a leader and he claims to be a Tamil Nadu leader”, he said.

He then takes another dig at Annamalai having chosen to quit being an IPS officer. He states, “Studying and becoming an IAS might at be your expense, but did you know how many crores of rupees are spent in making you an officer? You can finish studying by yourself, but these selected candidates are shaped into officers with good food and exercise, all this is government expense. But he left the job in just 9 years and we shouldn’t question him?”

Then he brings in the Rafale watch again and he says, “What did he say about wearing the Rafale watch – patriotism? Hey ngothala oli, (expletive), how can something made in France instill patriotism in you? Ladies, are you having a slipper with you? Old ladies here, take your skippers to Kamalalayam. How can a watch made in France instill patriotism?”

The said DMK functionary Sivaji Krishnamurthy has been arrested and dismissed from the party following this speech and subsequent outrage from all sections of the public.
