Mysterious posters of ‘Jesus bless Tamil Nadu’ come up across state

Images of posters that reads ‘Jesus bless Tamil Nadu’ have been found pasted in many places across Tamil Nadu.

These posters have been stuck on walls of Hindu temples. In one of the unidentified place, the poster has been pasted just below the statue of Nandi, the sacred bull and gatekeeper of Lord Siva.

A netizen on Facebook has said that these posters have been found Coimbatore and Pollachi areas. Another user on Twitter said that he saw these posters in Tirupur area too.

Indu Makkal Katchi (IMK) has taken cognizance of the matter and posted on their Twitter account that they are looking into the matter to find out the culprits. It has been alleged that Christian NGOs are behind these mysterious posters.

The incident comes in the light of the ongoing debate about freeing Tamil Nadu temples from government control.  Many netizens expressed condemnation and have urged the Tamil Nadu government to take quick action against the culprits.
