‘Man becomes great with his deeds and not by his caste’: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, while speaking in Lucknow on Monday (Sept 14), said that great people have taken birth in all castes and all castes have equal rights on temples, water bodies and cremation grounds.

In his speech to RSS office-bearers on the second day of his stay in Lucknow, Bhagwat spoke about the importance of social harmony and the RSS chief said that a man becomes great because of his deeds.

Bhagwat asked RSS volunteers to take part in any work which brings benefit to the society and country. The RSS Sarsanghchalak also put emphasis on the need to protect cows and resort to natural farming and called upon volunteers to spread awareness in the society.

RSS publicity co-in charge, Diwakar Awasthi said, “Bhagwat Ji also talked about the family concept to the RSS workers,”.

Awasthi also added that “Here family doesn’t mean the immediate one comprising husband, wife and child, but the extended one which includes, grandparents, uncles, nephews, nieces,”.
