Piyush Manush, a rabid hate-spewing DMK supporter from Salem who masquerades as an ‘activist’, who has a long history of making abusive, anti-Hindu remarks, has once again made casteist attacks targeting Brahmins.
In an Instagram video, Manush targeted TVK MLA Ramesh over the sensitive Palani temple land issue. He deployed derogatory Tamil slang such as “AAVA; AAVA BUDDHI AH KAMICHUTA; NOOLU” – a casteist jab mocking sacred thread worn by not just Brahmins but also other communities like Chettiyars, Vanniyars, etc.
“Ramesh-u… So you’ve finally started showing your true Brahmin colours, huh? I’ve been watching all this for a while now. Don’t act all innocent like ‘it was just a small mistake’. A massive fraud has gone down here. Your Brahmin agenda is leaking out everywhere. That sacred thread you’re trying so hard to hide? It’s popping out already. It’s only been a few days and you’ve already gone this far?This land has been disputed from the very beginning — piles of correspondence sitting in the registrar’s office. Then suddenly one guy shows up and changes everything in a single day? Ramesh Anna… Honourable Brahmin sir… you’ve shown your true Brahmin brain. That’s exactly why temple control should never be in Brahmin hands. Doesn’t matter if it’s a minister’s post or anything else — it’s dangerous. Extremely dangerous.“, the rabid DMK-suporting Dravidian Stock said.
This is not the first that Piyush Manush has made hate speech against Brahmins.

Vitriolic Attack on Podu Dikshitar Brahmins (September 2024): Manush launched a vicious tirade against the Podu Dikshitar Brahmin community of Chidambaram, claiming “Dikshitars stole everything” and equating them with “people who want to marry 8-year-old girls.”
Casteist Slur Against Auroville Secretary & IIT Madras Director (July 2026): While targeting Auroville, Manush used the derogatory Dravidianist term “ava” (a slur for Brahmins) to falsely accuse individuals from Brahmin backgrounds of land scams.
Abuse of Justice GR Swaminathan (December 2025): Manush directly abused Justice GR Swaminathan, targeting him on caste lines as part of his pattern of attacking Brahmin public figures.
Facebook Post Calling Out “This Brahmin Bugger” (January 2026): Manush referred to a Kizhakku News founder Badri Seshadri derogatorily as “This brahmin bugger” who “could not digest that education could be for the common masses.” He accused Brahmins of inherent hatred towards common people and openly defended anti-Brahmin ridicule.
While the TVK government rushed to arrest a woman who merely questioned the minister on social media, no action has been taken so far against Piyush Manush despite his repeated, open hate speeches and casteist abuse targeting Brahmins including its own minister.
