Tamil Nadu Minister for Municipal Administration, Urban & Water Supply K.N. Nehru while addressing a press meet called the Communist MP from Madurai Su. Venkatesan in singular leading to bitter moments between the two.
When a reporter asked the Minister about no progress being made on AIIMS Madurai and the expansion of the Madurai airport, Nehru asked the reporter to ask the question to the relevant people and went on to address CPI-M MP Su. Venkatesan in singular.

After the video went viral on social media, Minister Nehru put out a tweet clarifying his stance. In his tweet, Minister Nehru said “Please forbear if I had hurt the Member of Parliament by addressing him in singular. I will see to it that it doesn’t happen again”.
