Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on 15 August 2025 issued a condolence message mourning the death of social media handle Kalimuthu, known on X as @Mark2Kali_ ,a DMK supporter widely known for his hate-filled posts and abusive campaigns.
In his message, Stalin wrote, “Even though he held no official position in the party, through his black-and-red passion, he was known as one of the faces of the Kazhagam on the internet, and acted as if the Kazhagam itself was his identity—my dear brother @Mark2Kali_. The news of his passing has deeply shocked and pained me. To the family of the vibrant young comrade Mr. Kalimuthu, who we have lost, and to our Kazhagam family, I extend my deepest condolences…”

This was followed by Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin, who called for the eradication of Sanatana Dharma, expressing condolence. He wrote, “I was saddened to hear the news of the passing of our dear brother @Mark2Kali_ , who tirelessly wrote about the principles and achievements of the movement on social media platforms. The ideological work of Kali, a soldier of the movement who fought battles of ideas on the internet, is worthy of praise. Selfless black-and-red volunteers like him have been, and continue to be, the shield of the movement. I express my deep condolences on the passing of our brother. I extend my sympathies to his family, friends, and comrades.”
