C-LOP releases catalogue of new concepts, acronyms and jargons used in governance as part of FRAC framework

The Creating Learning Opportunities for Public Officials (C-LOP) has come out with a catalogue of new concepts, acronyms and and language used in governance parlance as part of the Framework of Roles, Activities and Competencies (FRAC).

According to C-LOP’s website, FRAC introduces new concepts and language that needs to be mainstreamed into the vocabulary of all project stakeholders and this catalogue released can be used as a ready reckoner for anyone who is a part of the project.

C-LOP is an organization that focuses on capacity building of government officials to equip them with skills required for governance in today’s context and the future. It has partnered with the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) to collaborate with ministries, departments and organisations within governments on competency based training for all Government Officials.

The organization has also partnered with Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in helping transition of the pre-foundation course for newly recruited civil servants, from an in person classroom based training to a flipped model of learning.

The Narendra Modi government launched Mission Karmayogi – National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (‘NPCSCB’) to address the changing needs and aspiration of the citizen. The Programme has been designed to enhance the civil services under a national Programme, anchored by an apex body headed by the Prime Minister himself.
