TN State Planning Commission Member, DMK Supporters Trivialize Killing Of Indian Army Soldier By DMK Councillor And Gang

A 29-year-old soldier of the Indian Army named Prabhu was beaten to death by 10 men including a DMK Municipal Councillor near Pochampalli in Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu.

The unfortunate incident happened over a petty dispute which resulted in an altercation.

DMK Councillor Chinnasamy (50) belonged to the MGR Nagar, Velampatti near Pochampalli. Prabhu (29) and Prabhakaran (33), both of them are soldiers serving in the Indian Armed Forces living in the same area.

Prabhakaran’s wife was washing clothes near a tank in the Pochampalli area early on February 8 to which the DMK councillor had objected. He had reportedly abused her resulting in a heated exchange between the DMK councillor and Prabhakaran family.

That evening, DMK Councillor Chinnaswamy, along with more than 10 other people, attacked Prabhakaran and Prabhu. Both of them were severely injured.

Prabhu later lodged a complaint with the Nagarasampatti police. Based on the complaint, six of the accused were arrested on February 9, but Chinnasamy and two others were absconding who were nabbed on the evening of February 15.

This incident where an Indian Army soldier was thrashed to death by DMK Councillor and his men had sent shockwaves across the nation. Major national English news channels made it a a matter of prime time debate while the mainstream Tamil news channels looked the way.

With the horrific murder triggering national outrage, many DMK supporters have jumped in to trivialize the matter with a few even trying to defend the perpetrators.

Tamil Nadu State Planning Commission Member Amalorpavanathan Joseph trivialzed and demeaned the incident equating it to an incident where an alleged BJP functionary was caught for holding Marijuana.

When questioned, he went on to say “Do you also fall into this ‘jawan guarding the border’ trap?”

Another Dravidian Stockist DMK supporter K. Karunanidhi (known by his alias SKP Karuna) had also trivialized the army man’s death while making false equivalence to another incident where a Central Industrial Security Force personnel had pointed gun at a Tamil Nadu government bus driver for blocking a sensitive consignment.

“Remember when he threatened the public with a gun! Their superiors would have spoken to the highest level of our police and apologized and ended it without prosecution! Can the common man get away with this case? This generosity is the first enemy of this regime. The state police, who were supposed to be on the side of the people, sided with the army who pointed guns at civilians out of excessive patriotism. In response, the patriots and the national media, who are supposed to stand on the side of truth, stand against the state government. Let’s face it”, he said.

Another anonymous handle with tweets supporting Naam Tamilar Katchi had come out in defence of the perpetrator.

Yamuna City: A Futuristic City For The Future

The Uttar Pradesh government’s Yamuna Authority is working on an ambitious project to develop a modern city, expected to be completed by 2051. The city is being built around the upcoming Noida International Airport (NIA) in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. This will be India’s first Aerotropolis, with commercial and residential spaces surrounding the airport.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the airport in November 2021, which will be spread over 1,300 hectares of land. The airport’s first phase is expected to be completed by 2024, and it will be the country’s first net-zero emissions airport.

The UP government, along with the central government, is working to establish the Aerotropolis near the Noida airport to make it a chance to boost the country’s and state’s economy. An Aerotropolis is a sub-region whose infrastructure, land use, and economy are centered around an airport. Last year, the officials of the Yamuna Authority announced the proposal for YEIDA’s Master Plan 2041, which led to the UP government incorporating around 55 villages into the Yamuna Authority.

The Yamuna City being built by the Yamuna Authority will be twice the size of Delhi, covering an area of 3000 km². Comparatively, it is 15 times bigger than Noida and four times bigger than Gurgaon. Reports suggest that this city will not just be a modern city with commercial buildings, but also include an Olympic Park and Olympic Village.

The city’s development is expected to be completed by 2050, coinciding with the final phase of the Noida International Airport’s completion and operation in full potential. The mega-project, undertaken by the Yogi Adityanath-led UP government, is expected to boost the local business and create property demand in the airport’s vicinity, making it easier to achieve the vision for a $1 trillion economy.

The UP government recently hosted a three-day international summit in Lucknow, where it signed MoUs worth more than ₹30 Lakh Crore, aiming to provide jobs to around 95 lakh individuals. This master plan is expected to play a vital role in the growth of the state’s economy by making connectivity easier and creating the state as an industrial hub.

In conclusion, Yamuna City’s development is expected to transform the region’s landscape, which will have a cascading effect on the state’s economy, and contribute to India’s growth story.

DMK Min Masthan Assures Release Of Coimbatore Bomb Blast Convicts To Woo Muslim Voters In Erode East

In an attempt to woo minority voters in the Erode East by-election, DMK Minority Affairs Minister Gingee Masthan promises to take action to free the Coimbatore bomb blast convicts.

On Tuesday (14 February 2023), DMK Minister Gingee Masthan campaigned for elections outside Erode Thirunagar Colony mosque in support of Erode East constituency Congress candidate EVKS Ilangovan.

He said, “MK Stalin, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, has allocated approximately Rs.700 crores to transform the Erode Corporation into a modern corporation, with only Chennai receiving more funds. When people from Tamil Nadu go abroad for work and get into trouble, the chief minister attempts to negotiate with the foreign government on their behalf and takes steps to bring them back.”

He added, “The Waqf Board’s properties worth approximately ₹500 crore have been recovered. This has resulted in income generation for Mosques. The DMK government is taking steps to prevent any encroachment on Waqf land.”

He further said, “A legal advisory committee has been set up to free those Muslim convicts of Coimbatore bomb blast case who have been in jail for 25 years. I am raising this issue in the assembly. We can expect good news soon.”

The Erode East constituency has nearly 40,000 Muslim votes, according to voter data. As a result, DMK Minister Masthan attempted to project that the DMK government is always pro-Muslim, and he went so far as to promise the release of Muslim prisoners convicted in the Coimbatore bomb blast in order to woo Muslim voters.

Coimbatore Blasts 1998

On 14 February 1998, a series of 12 high-intensity explosions rocked Coimbatore leaving 58 dead and more than 250 injured. The target was BJP leader Advani. Investigations revealed that the banned Muslim fundamentalist outfit Al-Umma, headed by SA Basha was found to be responsible for the blasts.

This man and his organization Al Umma was allowed to function openly without any restriction by the DMK Government till the 1998 Coimbatore blasts.

Basha is currently serving life imprisonment but he has been living a lavish life in prison and has got parole more than 160 times in the last 24 years. Nawab Khan, Basha’s brother, was sentenced to one-life term and 27 years of rigorous imprisonment.

Nawab Khan’s son Mohammed Dhalka, was detained for giving a car to the main accused Jamesa Mubin, who died in the 2022 Coimbatore blast.

Owners Of Christian Home Booked For Rape And Torture Of Inmates In Vizhuppuram

The proprietors of Anbu Jothi Ashramam, B Jubin, and J Maria, have been arrested by Tamil Nadu police on several charges, including rape, in a village in the Vizhuppuram district.

After receiving a complaint from Salim Khan, who had not heard from his father-in-law since August 2021, a team of officials raided the Anbu Jothi Ashram, a home in a village near Kedar. Salim’s father-in-law was admitted to the home in December 2021.

On Monday (13 Febuary 2023), police arrested four employees which includes the home’s owners B Jubin and his wife J Maria, on multiple charges, including rape. Warden Muthumaari, a computer operator, Gopinath, an attendant, and driver Biju have also been booked.

Volunteers who assisted in the rescue of 142 residents – 109 men, 33 women, and a boy – reported that some of the women had been raped by employees and that many others had been chained and tortured.

According to a survivor from the Christian home, she came as a teenager from Odisha seeking alms in Vizhuppuram when a rescue group took her to Anbu Jothi Ashram, where she was raped, beaten, and threatened into silence. She added that the employees of the home set on them two ferocious monkeys they were taming, when she tried to resist.

Several women were also reported to have been chained to window grills, drugged with sleeping pills, and raped, with those who resisted being beaten with iron rods and left to be attacked by the monkeys.

The team discovered that at least 15 of the inmates were missing and had no records, while those who remained in the home had contusions, bruises, and blood clots on their bodies and complained of torture and sexual assault.

Locals add that none of the government agencies appear to have inspected the home, which has been operational since 2005. According to the residents, this unregistered home used to hire a van and pick up destitute people in Vizhuppuram, luring them with three meals a day and a decent job under a safe roof. However, as soon as the destitute arrive at the Christian home, they are drugged and tonsured to make them appear mentally challenged in order to avoid suspicion from government officials and visitors.

Official Handle Of DMK IT Wing Peddles Hate Against Tamil Brahmins

In yet another instance of DMK peddling hatred against the Tamil Brahmin community, the party’s IT wing headed by DMK MLA TRB Rajaa, posted a comic attacking Brahmins with casteist stereotyping and jibes.

The DMK through its social media handles has been posting comic posts titled ‘Dravidathaal Vaazhgirom’ narrating the party’s origins and the so-called ‘Dravidian Movement’.

In one such post that was posted on 14 February 2023, the comic story board attacks the Tamil Brahmin community by stereotyping them and peddling propaganda against them.

The first board shows a group of Brahmin men discussing the formation of Madras Presidency Association saying “A few people gather against the Non-Brahmin Association. A consultative meeting was held at one person’s house.”

The Madras Presidency Association was a faction within the Indian National Congress that was formed to counter the divisive strategy of Justice Party which was acting as a British stooge.

In the second board, one man says “Mr. Pillai.. put some of the Shudras of the Congress party in that (Madras Presidency Association).”

The third board depicts an imaginary conversation between two Brahmins where one of them says “Avaa (Tamil Brahmin slang) Kai viraalalye avaa kannai kuththivittom oi (Tamil Brahmin slang)” which translates to “we poked their eyes with their own fingers”.

In the last board, one of the Tamil Brahmin man is shown saying “Haven’t we been doing this for thousands of years?”

This comic strip was shared by the DMK IT wing with the caption “The mob, sanctifying their birth and living in obscurity, conspired to destroy the unity among non-Brahmins!”

It is to be noted that the above post is a fictional portrayal and not a historical incident.

Many have reported the post saying that the DMK is once again peddling anti-Brahmin propaganda.

It is common knowledge that the DMK resorts to tirade against Tamil Brahmins to coax the wealthy landed castes (Mudaliar, Naidu, Reddy, Pillai and Chettiar) who are the traditional vote bank for the DMK.

Capital outlay pertaining to modernisation and infrastructure development has been increased to ₹1.63 lakh crore.

Minister Rajnath Singh termed the decision as an unprecedented step taken by the Government at the outset of ‘Amrit Kaal’ to further strengthen the defence sector and minimise import dependency. “If you take one step, the government promises to take ten steps forward. You spoke of land to run on the path of development. We are providing you full sky. Earmarking three-fourth of the capital procurement budget for the local industry is a step in that direction,” he said.

The Defence Minister exuded confidence that with this step, the Indian industry will come forward with more enthusiasm and contribute in making the defence sector more powerful and prosperous. He was of the view that a strong & self-reliant defence industry not only strengthens the security system of the country, but also bolsters the economy. The Bandhan ceremony also witnessed the forging of 266 partnerships including 201 MoUs, 53 major announcements, nine product launches and three Transfers of Technology, worth around Rs 80,000 crore.

Minister Rajnath Singh stated that the MoUs and ToTs completed during Bandhan will pave the way for enhanced FDI in defence and take the manufacturing in the sector to greater heights. He defined Bandhan as not just an agreement between two sides limited to economic benefit, but a new resolution to bolster the nation in the defence domain. He also emphasised that the partnerships forged with friendly countries will take their bilateral collaboration with India to the next level.

The Defence Minister stated that Aero India showcased to the world the ‘New Defence Sector’ of ‘New India’, which has not only grown in the last few years, but is now fully ready to walk alongside the defence sectors of leading countries. Indian Army Soldier Beaten To Death By DMK Councilor And Others

A 29-year-old soldier of the Indian Army named Prabhu was beaten to death by 10 men including a DMK Municipal Councillor near Pochampalli in Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu.

Calling Out BBC’s Holier Than Thou Attitude

The BBC: A dark, sordid history of tainted reporting at the expense of taxpayer money. For a while now, many citizens and several leaders of the United Kingdom (UK) have been questioning the heavily biased and blatantly “motivated” reporting of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). Inspite of a large number of questionable reports over the recent past and the British Parliament’s periodic questioning of possible ulterior motives behind some of its news coverage, the far-Left oriented BBC has been getting away with it, based on its past glory, its pre-world war credentials and its special status as a ‘public service’ for the citizens of the UK.

Where Does BBC Draw Its Power And Money From?

The royal charter is the constitutional basis for the BBC. It sets out the BBC’s mission and public purposes amongst other governance and regulatory arrangements such as the composition of the BBC Board. The BBC’s mission, as outlined in the charter, is “to act in the public interest, serving all audiences through the provision of impartial, high-quality and distinctive output and services which inform, educate and entertain”.

The BBC World Service also receives some funding from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

The BBC is principally funded through a licence fee paid by UK households; the amount is set by the government in a periodic ‘licence fee settlement’. Although the BBC is principally funded through the licence fee paid by UK households, the BBC’s commercial operations, such as BBC Studios, provide supplementary income.

The current royal charter started on 1 January 2017 and ends on 31 December 2027. In January 2022, the government announced a licence fee settlement that would apply from April 2022 until March 2028. It also stated that it was considering how the BBC should be funded after this period.

The Gutter-Level Reputation Of BBC

As recently as 16 December 2022, the House of Lords was scheduled for a debate on a motion from Baroness Stowell of Beeston (Conservative) to take note of the report from the House of Lords Communications and Digital Committee ‘Licence to change: BBC future funding’. A specially commissioned Committee’s numerous findings and recommendations presented to the UK Parliament, included the following observations:

• The BBC should provide a clear definition of its understanding of universality, detailing how this, alongside its strategic purpose, will shape its future decisions on programming and allocation of resource.
• The BBC should provide the government with scenarios and estimates to inform its work on the benefit of the BBC’s international output.
• The BBC should publish a comprehensive long-term vision which it should submit to the government’s independent review. The vision should include costed options for future funding mechanisms and details of what the BBC would stop doing, what it would do differently and what it would start doing. The vision “will require fresh thinking and a more open-minded approach than has been shown in the past”.
• The BBC should continue to work to show more overtly that it “respects, understands and reflects all sectors of UK society”.

The above findings of the special committee’s investigations are proof of the discontent of a large cross section of ordinary citizens and law makers, towards the BBC’s dissafactory reporting on national and international affairs. The BBC in its present avatar has severely misused its freedom in India. It is not welcome to stay in our nation, in its current form.

In July 2022, the House of Lords Communications and Digital Committee published a report examining the future of BBC funding. All of the questioning, past inquiries, possibility of future inquiries, discussions around the nature, intent and scope of this news corporation, criticised by several leaders including former UK prime minister, Mrs Margaret Thatcher, stems from the BBC’s tarnished reputation for its choice of playing partisan politics, lack of fair and impartial reporting and a deep affiliation /nexus with the radical Left or Islamist organizations with deep pockets (those that can lobby/ influence/ pay substantially large amounts discreetly in return for favours).

The India Question

British Conservative party MP, Bob Blackman, on being questioned about the controversy surrounding the BBC’s docuseries on PM Narendra Modi, stated that the documentary ‘India: The Modi Question’ is a “result of poor journalism, is badly researched, and completely unjustified”. He made it clear that the BBC’s prejudiced views do not represent those of the UK government.

Of late, the BBC has drawn flak from many quarters of British society and a cross section of its elected leaders on account of its apparent far-Left leanings and obvious support of the radical-Left, heavily woke, pro-illegal immigration, pro-Islamist narrative that the partially public/ taxpayer, government-funded news agency has been accused of. Almost a century of operations of this news reporting enterprise has resulted in its rank and file being filled with generations of Left leaning individuals with a God complex. Their pompous, holier-than-thou attitude, opinions on just about everything in the public sphere of life in the UK to citizens, earned the BBC a comical, sarcastic nick name “Auntie” alluding to a nosy, annoying, all-knowing ‘aunty’ who offers unsolicited advice to people on a wide variety of matters, based on the assumption that only the aunty knows what’s best for the country and its middle classes.

British PM had earlier stated that he “doesn’t agree with the characterisation” of PM Modi. US State Department spokesperson Ned Price’s earlier response was that he was not familiar with the BBC documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He further added that he was familiar with the shared values of the the United States and India as two thriving and vibrant democracies.

In light of the highly suspicious documentary on a respected, democratically elected leader of a large country titled “India: The Modi Question”, here’s some factual information on this Left-filled, inherently biased organization, masquerading as a news agency of some repute. Clearly, the so-called ‘documentary’ has been commissioned by ultra-Left, communally and politically motivated individuals and organizations from India and abroad with the obvious intent to interfere in India’s internal affairs by raking up one particular event, in the life of an internationally renowned world leader like Prime Minster Narendra Modi – conveniently, that carefully chosen event happens to be about the 2002 Gujarat riots and the ‘Muslim Question’ in India. The BBC has no right to hurt the sentiments of millions of Indians who consciously elected a highly popular leader like Mr. Modi. The BBC has crossed a line and it is not acceptable to all self respecting Indians.

The BBC had crossed the line several times in the past too, at the behest of Islamists and Pakistan, having always been motivated by a false muslim-victimhood narrative, cleverly spun & sold by the radical Left. In fact, PM Indira Gandhi and the Congress party themselves, took strong exception to the highly prejudiced, anti-India reporting of the BBC in the 60s and 70s and even considered banning the organization, which she eventually did in 1970 for about two years. The BBC has a long history of a vehemently biased, anti-India, anti-Hindu reporting. In fact, in almost every instance of its reporting on the South Asian community’s activities and issues including the recent Leicester Muslim-Hindu riots, Hindus in the UK have accused the BBC of open support to the Islamist narrative

It is not acceptable to India and its citizens to be fed false, motivated, sponsored news by a state sponsored news agency, claiming to be reputable yet being questioned by its own government and citizens on its real motives and the biased nature of its content.

The government of India is absolutely right in investigating the BBC’s long standing presence in India, taking away its special privileges and asking it to follow the country’s Law in every aspect. Nobody but nobody has the right to stomp into a strong, proud 21st century India, expect its citizens to mindlessly consume their biased news, insult its history, religion, culture, hard-fought independence, achievements and progress.. all, while taking this ancient land’s generosity for granted! India has the right to conduct thorough investigations of the BBC’s operations in India and take necessary legal action against it.

Love Jihad Is Okay For Left In Kerala Until It Bites One Of Their Own

love jihad

Recently, cadre of Communist Party of India (Marxist) beat up a Muslim man in a Kerala court, after daughter of a CPM worker said that she was in a consensual relationship with him. The woman, 18, is a Christian. Pursuant to the incident, a group of Muslim youths and some members of the CPM party came face to face creating a situation of unrest among communities. The incident reportedly happened in Kerala’s Muslim majority Malappuram district. The incident has not only sparked a debate on to the issue of ‘Love Jihad’ but also has opened up a tricky area for ruling CPM in the state. In this context we will look in to what has actually transpired on the ground and understand as to why CPM’s violent reaction to the incident has exposed double standard of ruling communist in the state on this issue?

The Incident

The 18-year-old girl in this incident is a native of Thodupuzha Cheruthoni in the Idukki district. She is a degree student at Santhigiri College in Vazhithala near Thodupuzha. The relation between the two happened over social media. Earlier this month, as soon as she turned an adult, she left for Malappuram to join with her lover. A young Muslim man from Malappuram was in contact with the young women when she was still a minor. He is employed by the Kerala government-owned Kerala State Financial Enterprises Limited (KSFE). Reportedly, the Muslim man decided to convert her to Islam and took her to a conversion centre in Malappuram, which is the controversial Maunthul Islam Sabha. It has been reported that many women converted in this centre has ended up in Syria, Iraq etc as ISIS brides. On investigation, police checked her phone location and found the girl in Malappuram. This was when they allegedly understood that she was at the Islamic conversion centre. Police reached there and the girl was taken in to custody. The young girl was later produced in the District Court at Muttom Thodupuzha. As lady was an adult, the court asked her opinion, and the student decided to go with the male friend of her own free will. Her relatives, several local CPM workers, and leaders were also present when this happened. Once the court was adjourned, and the couple came out of court, a pitched battle erupted between the two groups. What triggered the violence is said to be the fact that the grooming jihadi tried to convert the young girl from Christianity to Islam.

For CPM Love Jihad Is ‘Sacred’ If It Happens To Hindus Or In BJP-Ruled States

In the name of religious rights and for the purpose of minority appeasement CPM has long cultivated its patronage to instances of Love Jihad, this attitude of the party, whose main base are the Hindu and Christian voters has resulted in a situation of unrest within the party. Now the CPM is reacting as the ‘octopus grip’ of Love Jihad started to extend targeting daughter and sisters of party workers. The concept of Love Jihad in Kerala, which is a controversial term, refers to the practice of Muslim men wooing and marrying Hindu women with the intention of converting them to Islam.

Love Jihad is a term given by Christian groups in Kerala more than a decade ago for the pattern of men from the Muslim community trapping Christian women in relationships for their religious conversion through marriage. Over the years, the term has come to be used by Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and tribal groups too, while protesting against Islamic conversion of their women. Workers of the CPM in Kerala have raised the issue of “love jihad” time and again, but are suppressed by the senior leadership.

For example, in April 2022, another young Christian lady named Joisna Mary Joseph went missing in the Kozhikode district. Her family, local Christian ‘communist’ MLAs, and her church blamed Love Jihad. CPM leadership punished their Christian MLA, Linto joseph, who raised the alarm. DYFI came out in favor of Shejin and extended full backing for the marriage. The current DYFI national president, A A Rahim, and the former president PA Mohammad Riyas (son-in-law of incumbent Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan) supported Shejin openly. They threatened that nobody would be allowed to interfere in this marriage. These leaders remained silent when the Thodupuzha violence unfolded. George M Thomas, a two-time local legislator of the CPI (M) who also liaised between the Church and the Marxist party, assured the girl’s family that she would be brought back safely. He appeared on live TV alleging ‘Love Jihad’ and validated Joisna’s family’s charges. For his Love Jihad reference, the CPM censured former MLA Comrade Thomas.

CPM has often stated that ‘Love Jihad’ is non-existent and CPM, including its acting secretary has often stated that ‘Love Jihad’ is nothing but an imagination of BJP for political purposes. But as chickens are coming home to roost, with more and more CPM leaders and their families being affected by Love Jihad the party is being forced to accept the reality. In September 2021, the party circulated an in-house note to its cadre asking them to watch out for “educated young women in the professional colleges to the path of communalism and terrorism.” The note followed cases where Hindu and Christian women were found to have married Muslim men after their religious conversion to Islam and fled to ISIS-controlled zones to live an “Islamic way of life”.  The CPM is changing its stance relating to Love Jihad albeit slowly. To cite another example, prominent Catholic Bishop in Kerala claimed that young men and women, belonging to the Christian community and other non-Muslim faiths, were being lured and targeted through means such as ‘love jihad’ and ‘narcotic jihad’ in the state. It is interesting to note that the Bishop represents the main voter base of Kerala Congress (M) which is an ally of ruling CPM.

As the anger mounts and facts relating to Love Jihad come to the forefront CPM will be forced to take a stand against the issue. The Left should accept the reality and counter the issue of Love Jihad prudently by considering basic facts and reactions of people of Kerala otherwise Kerala will be forced to walk through a path of religious extremism in face of extremist elements unleashing their fury in light of inaction by the ruling communists.
