A video of two Taliban terrorists purportedly speaking to each other in Malayalam has gone viral on social media.

This eight second video, uploaded on to microblogging platform Twitter by a journalist, comprises a scene where one Talibani speaks to his fellow Talibani in what is purported to be Malayalam, and says, “samsarikkette? (Can I talk?)”.

There have numerous reports that members of the minority community from Kerala had moved to the Middle East and Afghanistan to join ISIS and other terrorist organizations. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has investigated these allegations and has even started criminal proceedings against some returnees. The Kerala government too has confirmed the same.

This latest Malayalam conversation between Taliban militants has further given impetus to the notion that Islamic terrorists are very much active in Kerala.

The video was also retweeted by Shashi Tharoor.

Afghan-Russia relationship comes full circle: Former foes are now allies as Moscow calls Taliban a “positive” influence

taliban kabul afghanistan russia

On Monday (16 August), the Afghan-Russia relations came full circle when the Russian Ambassador to Afghanistan, Dmitry Zhirnov, praised the Taliban and said that the outfit, still designated a terrorist outfit in Russia, had made Kabul safer in the first 24 hours.

Ambassador Zhirnov then took a direct dig at ousted President Ashraf Ghani and said that Afghanistan is safer now than it was under the previous regime, reports Livemint.

It must be noted that the erstwhile Soviet Union had, in 1989, also left Afghanistan after a decade of occupation. Russia is now praising the same Mujahedeen that it had fought against.

Ambassador Dmitry Zhirnov said that he had been impressed by the Taliban’s conduct so far, describing their approach as “good, positive and business-like.”

Ambassador Zhirnov added, “The situation is peaceful and good and everything has calmed down in the city. The situation in Kabul now under the Taliban is better than it was under Ashraf Ghani.”

Ambassador Zhirnov also said, “Yesterday the regime fell like a house of cards. There was a feeling of disorder, a power vacuum, and looters came out on the streets.”

According to Zhirnov, schools in Kabul – including those for girls – had started functioning again, which was not the case when the Taliban took over in 1996.

Zamir Kabulov, President Vladimir Putin’s special representative in Afghanistan, said Moscow has been working on building a relationship with the Taliban for a long time and it is now paying off. He said, “It’s not for nothing that we’ve been establishing contacts with the Taliban movement for the last seven years.”

Kabulov added, “We saw that this force would in the end, if not completely come to power, would play a leading role in the future of Afghanistan in any case.”

Talibanis line up for spoils of war in the form of girls

There are pictures of the Taliban fighters having fun and on the other hand, the Islamic jihadists are reportedly going door-to-door in the Afghan capital looking for interpreters and Western allies who are most likely to be killed at a later date if they are evacuated.

Also, there are reports of Taliban fighters pillaging other cities where they are looking for girls as young as 12 so they can make them their sex slaves.

What is even more disturbing is that the Taliban is refusing those with Afghan passports to leave the country. As of now, Kabul is relatively peaceful but it is being seen as the lull before the storm because there are still thousands of foreign nationals stuck and any attack on them would lead to reprisal.

Many people in Afghanistan are saying that the Taliban took just twenty days to change twenty years of work as the Jihadist commanders are reportedly ordering imams in areas they have captured to bring the lists of unmarried women aged from 12 to 45 for their mujahideen to marry because they view them as ‘qhanimat’ or ‘spoils of war’.

There are also reports that the Taliban fighters are killing husbands of young women so they can marry them as a widow as widow remarriage is encouraged in Islam.

Uttar Pradesh: Samajwadi Party MP Shafiqur Rahman Barq supports Taliban takeover of Afghanistan

As the Taliban took back Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, it has found a strong voice of support from Samajwadi Party leader and Member of Parliament Shafiqur Rahman Barq who said the Taliban defeated two great powers, Russia and America which according to him is a victory for Islam.

However, reports are now emerging that the Taliban is now going door to door collecting names of people who supported the US and NATO, and India so they can be killed at a later date and then proceed to take the female members of the family as sex slaves.

Shafiqur Rahman Barq is known for making statements that are contrary to our culture and constitution as he reaped praises of Taliban, and the return of Gulam e Mustafa, which means the Taliban can govern Afghanistan on the lines of Sharia law and said it is an internal matter.

Another prominent leader of the Samajwadi Party (SP), Mohmmad Rehan Khan said the victory of the Taliban is a victory against a great power like America that has ended  “oppression” and the former UP minister also added that there is no reason to distrust the Taliban over their intention to bring peace to the country.

It must be noted that the state of Uttar Pradesh is poll-bound in 2022.

Temple priest appointed by DMK Govt violates Agama rules at Chennai Sivan Temple

The temple priest identified as Giridharan at the Karaneeswarar Temple in Saidapet, Chennai who was newly appointed under the DMK government’s ‘All Castes Can Become Priests’ scheme, performed pooja in violation of the Agama rules.

On August 14, after the completion of the Arthajama pujas at the Sivasubramaniyar shrine in the temple, the newly appointed temple priest by the DMK government performed deeparathana (aarti) at the behest of the HR&CE department officials of the temple.

The Sivachariyars have now risen in protest against the DMK government’s anti-Hindu move to disturb temple customs in order to peddle their political ideology.

Saminathan, Chennai district coordinator of the Tamil Nadu Sivacharyas Social Welfare Association, was quoted saying in a report by Tamil daily that the Sivachariyars undergo rigorous training from a young age at patashalas  away from their home families. “We’ve been studying Veda mantras and Agamas for years to get a livelihood. But the government’s actions has robbed us of our livelihood. We don’t even get a job or seat in government institution even if we get 90%”

He said that the government is trying to decimate the Sivachariyar community by bringing in people from other communities as priests in age old traditional temples.

Many Sivachariyars who are a miniscule minority in Tamil Nadu have alleged that the DMK government’s move would serve as a death blow to Hindu faith.

The temple authorities had reportedly responded to the allegations of Agama rule violation saying that the Sivachariyars are levelling false allegations as they did not like the new priest.

Pakistan’s Human Rights Minister mocks US, equates evacuation of US citizens to Saigon

Feature Image Courtesy: Dawn

After the Taliban captured the Afghan capital of Kabul, Pakistan’s Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari took to Twitter and mocked the United States by saying that the US is getting out of Kabul just as it did from Saigon on 29 April 1975.

In her tweet, the so-called human rights activist who has done nothing when Hindu, Sikh, and Christain girls are raped and converted to Islam said, “Saigon, Vietnam and Kabul, Afghanistan,”.

Responding to her tweet Author and a leading expert on expert on military affairs in South Asia, and the politics of Islam Ayesha Siddiqa said, “While celebrating American defeat have you thought about women in Afghanistan? Taliban stopped girls from going to college in Mazar-e-Sharif. Taliban have entered Kabul but no one is celebrating except you. Haven’t you educated your daughter or would you like to move to Kabul?”

The Mazari took a potshot at President Ashraf Ghani and Vice President Amrullah Saleh and accused them of abandoning the Afghan people.

Mazari said, “Truly tragic to see the long-suffering Afghan people abandoned by President Ghani & others like Amrullah Saleh – both scuttle into hiding. Doesn’t really matter where they have disappeared or bolted to – what’s important is ldrshp abandoned their ppl in midst of crisis. Shameful!,”.

However, she conveniently forgot the role of the Pakistan Army who ran the operations and logistics for the Taliban and there are reports of Pakistani officers leading from the front to guide the Mujahideen.

Exactly four months after US announced its withdrawal from Afghanistan, Taliban enters Kabul

taliban kabul afghanistan

As India celebrated its 75th Independence day on Sunday (August 15), the dreaded Islamic terror group, the Taliban entered Kabul without any resistance after President Ashraf Ghani resigned and left the country to avoid bloodshed.

Ghani said, “If left unchecked, countless patriots would be martyred and the city of Kabul would be devastated, resulting in a major humanitarian catastrophe in the six-million-strong city.”

Taking to Facebook, Ghani asserted that he faced a “hard choice” between the “armed Taliban” or “leaving the dear country”. He also said, “The Taliban have won with the judgement of their swords and guns, and are now responsible for the honour, property and self-preservation of their countrymen.”

Though there are still many provinces of the war-torn country that are not under the control of the Taliban, however, by getting control of Kabul, the dream of converting Afghanistan into an Islamic emirate has now been realised two decades after the invasion by the United States.

The militant group now sits comfortably in the presidential palace, and has said it plans to soon declare a new “Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.”

No one expected Kabul to fall this quickly because a US intelligence assessment had said that it would take ninety days for the Taliban to get to Kabul. Now this victory has shocked NATO allies and it is clear that US President Joe Biden’s administration was blindsided by the Taliban’s advance.

Analysts also compared the withdrawal of US troops in Afghanistan to the American war in Vietnam.

The bitter memories of the Saigon retreat were in full display as U.S. military helicopters were seen ferrying passengers from the U.S. embassy and the lowering of the American flag meant that the twenty-year-old war on terror is now over.

However, it is the common Afghans who supported America who are now lined up at the airport, desperately trying to get out of the country as the Taliban bays for their blood.

On April 14, 2021, President Joe Biden announced the complete withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, and without informing the Afghan government, the Bagram airbase was abandoned. After that, it took just four months for the Taliban to capture Kabul with technical support from Pakistan.

Last Hindu of Kabul, Pandit Rajesh Kumar of Rattan Nath Temple, refuses to leave amid Taliban takeover

hindu kabul afghanistan

As the Afghanistan government of Ashraf Ghani capitulated to the Taliban on Sunday (August 15), one Hindu priest whose family has been in charge of the Rattan Nath temple has refused to be evacuated from Kabul.

Pandit Rajesh Kumar, the priest of Rattan Nath Temple in Kabul said, “Some Hindus have urged me to leave Kabul and offered to arrange for my travel and stay.”

“But my ancestors served this Mandir for hundreds of years. I will not abandon it. If Taliban kills me, I consider it my Seva”, he said.

Afghanistan was once home to lakhs of Hindus and Sikhs who lived in peace and harmony, but now the Taliban which has declared Afghanistan an emirate will impose Sharia law. It has said it will demand Jizya from any non-Muslim minority who stays in the country.

SDPI in Tamil Nadu welcomes Taliban takeover of Afghanistan

The Tamil Nadu unit of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) has welcomed the Taliban regime in Afghanistan.

In a statement, the Islamic outfit’s state general secretary ASA Umar Farooq said that ‘Taliban isn’t a bad word’ and that it means only students.

He said that Afghanistan has now come under the rule of ‘students’ which ought to be welcomed.

Who are the Taliban?

Taliban is an Islamic fundamentalism and terrorist organization largely founded by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in 1994. The ISI uses the Taliban to establish a regime in Afghanistan which would be favourable to Pakistan.

The Taliban is known for effecting a cultural genocide by seeking to establish puritan Islamic rule through harsh enforcement of the medieval Sharia law. Under their rule, all forms of recreation activities like music, cinema, sports, etc are banned and people do not have fundamental rights. Women are forbidden from schooling and have to cover their body from head to toe in burqa. They are used as sex slaves by the Taliban men.
