“Hinduism Is The Only Religion That Opposes Brotherhood, Has The Worst Society”: VCK Head Thirumavalavan Yet Again Spews Venom

At the launch of a book store by ‘May 17 Movement’ Thirumurugan Gandhi’, VCK Chief Thirumavalavan said that unlike Islam and Christianity, Hinduism is the only religion that is against brotherhood and has the worst social structure in the world.

Speaking at the event, the Lok Sabha MP said,”we oppose Sanatanis because they take the society in a regressive direction. Periyar, Marx, and Ambedkar advocated living in a progressive way while keeping scientific temper in mind.”

He added,”Democracy, like Einstein’s theory of relativity or Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution, is an invention. We would not be talking in this stage if democracy did not exist. If there was no democracy, they would not have let us touch the mic, establish organizations or raise our opinion. It is because of the invention of democracy, we talk about freedom of expression, minority rights or women education.”

He went on to say that they are opposed to both fascism and Sanathana Dharma because both are anti-brotherhood, and that Sanathana Dharma never accepts brotherhood at all.

Thirumavalavan further said,”There is no such thing as brotherhood in our society. We’re referring as brothers and sisters because of politics. All of those are phony relationships. We shake hands and call each other as brothers for the sake of votes. There are people in our society who ask ‘how dare you call me your brother, what is your caste and my caste?’. We cannot call everyone as our brother. We’ve to call them (so-called upper castes) as ‘Ayya’ or we’ve to call by their caste names like ‘Ayyar, Naidu, Thevar, Chettiyar’. We can’t call them as brothers. A society where one can’t even call each other as brothers. If there exists a worst society where there is no brotherhood, it is the Indian Hindu societal structure.”

“Outside India, everyone refer to people as brothers and sisters. They have a sense of fraternity and brotherhood-sisterhood. They do not talk about this, but want us to talk about Christianity and Islam. Brotherhood exists in Christianity and Islam, while Hinduism is the only religion that is anti-brotherhood. The Hindu religion has the worst social structure,” he mentioned.

Hinduism is the only worst religion in the world which forbids calling everyone as brothers and sisters.

He said,”It is because of vote politics, they (upper caste) enter slums. No one will enter the slums if there is no vote politics. They are doing it out of compulsion.”

He further said,”Ayothidaasa Pandithar mentioned Dravidam before Periyar. He founded the Dravida Mahajana Sabha. Even before Periyar, Rettamalai Sreenivasan founded the Aadi-Dravida Mahajana Sabha. However, we can no longer find any books written by them. Only Thirumurugan Gandhi is publishing both of their books in his ‘Thisai’ store.”

He also stated that it is ironic to see non-Brahmin Tamils in general are protesting in favour of 10% quota for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS).

UP: 19-Yr-Old Nisha Pushed To Death By Mohammad Sufiyan Who Allegedly Forced Her To Convert

With the dust yet to settle on the gruesome murder of Shraddha, a shocking incident that happened in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow has come to light where a 19-year-old girl Nidhi Gupta was reportedly pushed to death from the fourth floor of an apartment by her boyfriend Mohammad Sufiyan. The incidendt reportedly happened in Sector H, Basant Kunj, Dubagga police station area.

According to reports, the girl was training to become a beautician and was in a relationship with the accused Mohammed Sufiyan. He had reportedly coerced her to convert to Islam for marriage.

On Tuesday (15 November 2022), Nidhi and her family members had gone to Sufiyan’s house to confront him over his pressure to convert Nito Islam and marry him.

During the heated argument that ensued, Nidhi went to the rooftop and Sufiyan followed. Soon, Nidhi reportedly fell from the top to the ground. Nidhi’s family has alleged that Sufiyan pushed her to death because she had refused to convert and have a Nikah with him.

The girl was rushed to King George Medical University (KGMU) trauma centre where the doctors declared her brought dead.

In the complaint lodged, Nidhi’s mother has reportedly accused Sufiyan, who lives in the same locality, of harassing and forcing Nidhi to convert to Islam for Nikah.

A Zee News report, has mentioned that the accused Sufiyan claimed to a have ‘video’ of Nidhi and was forcing her to marry him.

Nidhi’s mother has told the police that Sufiyan pushed the girl following a heated argument.

An FIR has been filed against Sufiyan under appropriate sections of murder and forced religious conversions.

According to the police, Sufiyan along with his other family members have gone into hiding and their house has been locked. Further investigations are underway to establish the veracity of the complaint given by the victim’s family.

G20 Meetings Proposed To Be Held In Several North-East States: Union Tourism Minister

The G-20 offers the  best opportunity for India to showcase its culture, history and tourism potential and to position itself as a major tourist destination in the world. India will be soon presiding over the  G20  from  December  2022  to November 2023. We will host over 200 meetings across 55 cities during this period.  These meetings are also proposed to be held in several states of north east including . Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy said this during his address in the inaugural session of 10th ITM for the North East Region on 17th November 2022 in Aizawl today. He further added that smong the G20 member countries, China, Mexico, India, South Africa and Indonesia are projected to expand their tourism industry post COVID. With our presidency we definitely can stride ahead of these 4-5 countries to build the rightful place of India’s tourism industry in the global arena. We must plan to showcase our North Eastern Cultural Richness while welcoming the world to our country. This International Tourism Mart 2022 will highlight the diverse tourist attractions and products offered in the 8 states.

Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy and Chief Minister of Mizoram Zoramthanga jointly laid the foundation stone of Aizawl Convention Center at Chite,  PRASHAD Project in Mizoram and two Bamboo Link Roads during the inauguration of the ITM 2022 at Aizawl today. The Union Minister also launched the Mizoram Tourism Coffee Table Book on this occasion. MoS Tourism Govt of Mizoram Robert Romawia Royte, Secretary Tourism Arvind Singh, Senior economic adviser, Ministry of Tourism, Gyan Bhusan, Smt. Manisha Saxena, Principal Secretary, Tourism Department, Government of Mizoram and other senior officials of GoI and Govt. of Mizoram also graced the event.

During his address G Kishan Reddy also informed that India will also hold an investors’ conclave in 2023 to promote global investments and MICE tourism into the tourism sector. Our focus  will  be   to  increase  the  global investments not only in the hospitality industry but to also promote Theme parks and entertainment centres, adventure tourism, cruise tourism, wellness tourism, winter tourism etc.

Minister Reddy further informed that the Government of India has been providing financial assistance to the North-east region for overall tourism infrastructure development, promotion of fairs / festivals, tourism-related events in the region, publicity campaigns etc. The Ministry of Tourism has also formed a committee of active stakeholders in NER. “Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of DoNER and Ministry of Road Transport & Highways is developing 100 view-points in North East region. 22 view-points have been taken up for development at a cost of ₹49 crores . In Mizoram 9 viewpoints have been taken up for development at the cost of ₹12.78 crores. In addition to that Ministry of Road Transport & Highways is also in the process of developing viewpoints on their own”, Union Minister added.

The Minister also informed that the Ministry of Defence through its Border roads organisation is playing a crucial role in improving road infrastructure in the border areas. Border roads organisation has taken the initiative of providing basic amenities to tourists visiting the scenic locations by building Border roads organisation cafes. Border roads organisation cafes are being built in 75 locations in the first phase. In the NE states, BRO cafes are being built at 25 locations in the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Manipur, Nagaland and Assam.

Minister Kishand Reddy added that the Ministry of Tourism is emphasising on the development and promotion of tourism for the North-eastern States. Under Swadesh Darshan Scheme, the Ministry has sanctioned 16 projects in the North-east region of  India for a total amount of ₹1337.63 crore. “Close to 25% of SWADESH Darshan Projects have been sanctioned to North East states. Under PRASHAD   Scheme,   the   Ministry   has sanctioned approximately ₹200 crores for various projects in the region”, Union Minister added.

CM of Mizoram Zoramthanga said that from evergreen hills, dense bamboo jungles, lush green paddy fields and the Blue mountains Mizoram has unpolluted environment and unpolluted atmosphere, which make the Mizo state one of the most beautiful places to visit in the north eastern region. Mizoram has a great tourism potential , he said. CM also thanked the Central Government for approving several projects for development of Mizoram including bamboo link roads and Aizawl bypass.

Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Tourism Arvind Singh said that tourism sector accounts for a higher share of women’s employment and entrepreneurship as compared to the whole economy. “Indian tourism industry contributes to around 4.7 percent of the country’s GDP and provides employment to around 31.8 million of inhabitants. If tourism’s contribution is increased to 10 per cent of GDP in India, it can create 26 million new jobs. According to World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), an investment of Rs.10 lakh can generate 47.5 jobs as against 12.6 in manufacturing”, he added.

Earlier briefing media, Minsiter Kishan Reddy informed that ₹58.63 crores have been sanctioned under Swadesh Darshan scheme for development of Thenzawl and South Zone and Development of eco adventure circuit in the state of Mizoram. Under PRASHAD scheme of tourism ministry, Ministry has approved a project for development of amenities for pilgrims, congregation area, facilitation centre at Aizawl, Hangi Lunlen, Tlang- Prayer mountain, Khuangchera puk, Reiek peak and Khawruhlian. The cost is around ₹45 crores. He also informed that a Task Force for Tourism promotion  in the North-East will be established soon.

Ministry of Tourism, Government of India is organizing the 10th International Tourism Mart (ITM) for the North East Region from 17th to 19thNovember 2022 in Aizawl, Mizoram. Objective of ITM 2022 is to highlight tourism potential of the Northeast region in domestic and international markets. The three-day ITM event will be attended by North-eastern Tourism Ministers, Seniors Officials of North-eastern states, State Governments, and Heads of the Tourism & Hospitality Associations.

The International Tourism Marts are organized in the North-Eastern States on rotation basis. Mizoram is hosting this Mart for the first time. The earlier editions of this mart have been held in Guwahati, Tawang, Shillong, Gangtok, Agartala, Imphal and Kohima.

Assam: 42-Yr-Old Hajrat Ali Tries To Rape Minor In Sleep, Kills Her As She Screams

A 42-year-old man named Hajrat Ali from Dhekiajuli, Assam has been arrested for murdering a minor girl. He had tried to rape her when she was sleeping and killed her after she screamed.

The girl who was studying in high school in the area was found dead in her bed on Tuesday (15 November 2022) morning in her house at Bhakuamari in Alisinga under the Dhekiajuli police station in Sonitpur district.

Only she and her father were living in the house during this time. The father and the daughter went to bed after dinner on Monday night. The next day the girl’s father went to a nearby mosque for namaz at around 4 AM in the morning.

When he returned home after namaz, he was shocked to discover that his daughter was lying dead in her bed. The police were informed immediately. A team of police led by ASP Madhurima Das and the forensic team visited the spot upon appraised of the crime.

The sniffer dogs had pointed towards Hajarat Ali who lives in the same neighbourhood. His behaviour was found suspicious during questioning by the police following which he was taken to the police station. During the interrogation, Hajarat Ali ultimately confessed that he killed the girl.

He said that he entered the house when the girl was alone with the intention to rape her. While at it, the girl woke up and started screaming. In fear of getting caught, he strangulated her, leading to her death.

The body of the girl has been sent to Tezpur Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.

“The girl was sleeping at her house in Bhakuamari village. Hajarat Ali, taking advantage of the absence of the other family members, entered the house, and attempted to rape the girl. When she woke up, and started screaming, out of fear Ali strangled her to death.”, the Officer-in-Charge of the Dhekiajuli Police Station was quoted saying in the report by OpIndia.

Following this confession, police arrested Hajarat Ali.

The accused repeated the confession in front of media. He said, ‘I went there to do a bad deed, but she screamed, and therefore I strangled her neck.’ When asked why he attempted to rape a minor girl despite being her neighbour, he said that he has committed a grave mistake.

Karnataka: Christian Missionaries Accused Of Using Goons To Convert People

A shocking incident in Karnataka has come to light in which a Christian missionaries have attempted to forcibly convert an economically backward community and intimidating those resisting the conversion with goons.

The Shikkaligaras are an economically disadvantaged community in Karnataka. It was reported that there was a fight between a married couple of this sect as the wife coerced her husband into becoming a Christian. Sampath who lives in Old Hubbali Shivshankar Colony with his wife was allegedly coerced by her to convert to Christianity. She had threatened to not have a family with him if he didn’t convert.  Sampath did not agree to this and appealed to the leaders of the Shikkaligara community. Subsequently, the locals along with community leaders and Hindu organizations went to the Huballi police station to file a complaint. They laid seige to the police station protesting that Christian missionaries are forcibly converting people belonging to the Shikkaligar community through enticements and intimidation.

Sampath was quoted saying in a report, “Some pastors visited our relatives’ homes and forced us to attend the prayer meeting. Christian organizations engage in proselytizing activities targeting the Shikkaligara community. They target us because we are economically backward. Rowdies are used by Christian organisations to threaten those who refuse to convert.”

It is alleged that the missionaries are taking the help of local rowdy sheeter Madan Bugudi to intimidate people to convert to Christianity. Madan Bugudi on the other hand has claimed that he is a Hindu and hasn’t converted to another religion or converted others.

Sampath’s wife Bharati has denied the allegation and said that she isnt forcing anyone to convert to Christianity. She said that she has not converted to Christianity but goes to a church due to her “personal belief”. She has claimed that her husband left her 13 years ago and she lives at her parents’ house and hence there is no question at all of her forcing her husband to convert.

Kannada publication Udayavani has reported that Christian missionaries have converted around 30 families to Christianity by preying on their vulnerabilities. They reportedly resort to enticiment, miracle healing meeting and other superstitions to convert.

The Christian missionaries primarily target the women of the community who are pitted against their own families. They reportedly insist on converting the entire family to Christianity threatening to severe ties if they refuse to. The missionaries have been going door-to-door and indulging in proselytization.

The police, who have registered a case in this regard, are interrogating 15 people, including Madan Bugudi.

Earlier in October 2021, a forced conversion incident was reported in Hubbali region. A pastor named Somu Avaradhi, allegedly lured him a Scheduled Caste person to convert to Christianity for over three months and had even abused him for sporting vermilion.

Protesting Madurai Villagers Chase Away DMK Councillor For Negotiating In Favour Of New TASMAC Outlet

The people of Madurai chased away a DMK councillor who came to hold a peace meeting with protesting people in support of the newly opened liquor shop.

The ruling DMK government, led by MK Stalin, who promised total prohibition in 2016, intends to open a new TASMAC liquor shop in Madurai Melur on Wednesday (Nov 16), near the junction of the road leading to Natham. In response, the general public, including many female residents of the area, decided to protest by abruptly blocking the road and started a roko.

Once DMK councillor Pandi arrived at the protest site, he attempted to negotiate in favour of the liquor shop with Sukkambatti villagers who were protesting on the road.

Villagers, on the other hand, strongly condemned the action of the DMK councillor, who had come to conduct talks in support of the liquor shop, which is detrimental to the welfare of the people, and accused him of having vanished after being elected as councillor and never returning to his constituency.

As the protest gets stronger, villagers began chasing the councillor away, and the DMK councillor was eventually taken away by police.

The India-Bangladesh Exchange Of Enclaves

There was also a weird case of partition that happened between East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) and India in the Cooch Behar region (Siliguri). Both countries had enclaves in each other’s territories. Not one but 198 such enclaves were submerged entirely in another nation’s territory and inhabited by 51,549 people. 37,334 lived in Indian enclaves within Bangladesh, while 14,215 lived in Bangladeshi enclaves within India. Bangladesh had 102 Indian enclaves, which in turn had 21 Bangladeshi counter-enclaves, while India had 71 Bangladeshi enclaves, which, in turn, had three Indian counter-enclaves.

In Bengali, these enclaves were called chitmohol or chitts, representing a chit of paper. Origins of these chitts go back to gambling or chess matches between Raja of Cooch Behar and Maharaja of Rangpur. Whenever they lost, they traded each other’s properties just by signing on a chit of paper and thus ended up creating such enclaves in each other’s territory. Thus, the word ‘Chitmohol’ came into practice, signifying the houses built on a chit of paper. It happened way back in the Mughal period but continued under the British.

To be fair to the British, this is not a unique case in the world. Europe is full of such enclaves; Spain has many French enclaves and the Netherlands in Belgian territory, but they are not enemies. The situation between East Pakistan and India, however, was quite different.

Such enclaves became the den of criminals, smugglers and terrorists who used such territory to launch unlawful activities in India. On top of this absurdity, there is a third-order enclave named Dahala Khagrabari, which is, in effect, a counter-counter enclave with an area of only 1.7 acres, unique in the world. Only one person was occupying the enclave. From here, an Indian citizen wanting to go to the Indian mainland, which is just six miles away, has to cross the borders four times—from India to Bangladesh, Bangladesh to India, India to Bangladesh and finally, Bangladesh to the Indian ‘mainland’. However, this madness was put to an end in 2015 when the enclaves were exchanged, causing India a net loss of 15 square miles of land. Dahala Khagrabari finally went to Bangladesh.

The absurdities of man-made constructs were not appreciated by nature at all. The weirdest victims of partition were the inhabitants of Chars, the mid-river islands in the River Brahmaputra, and they numbered up to a whopping 2.5 lakhs. Life in the char depends on nature’s vagaries; during the monsoon, the islands are regularly submerged in the river. After every monsoon, their position shifts forward and backward across the international riverine border. Thus, Indian citizens of Assam frequently find themselves in Bangladesh and vice versa. The problem remains unsolved unlike that of enclaves, and the islands have become a den of Islamic terrorists. In contrast, just a hundred kilometres away, the border with Hindu-majority Nepal remains open and peaceful even without any patrolling.

TN Governor RN Ravi: “British Incorrectly Referred Dravidian As Race”

Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi has said that it is incorrect to use the term “Dravidian Race,” which was coined by the British, even after their rule.

On the occasion of Tribal Pride Day, Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi presented floral tributes to the portrait of tribal leader Birsa Munda at the Governor’s House in Chennai. 

During the celebrations, he said to the students, “The British were incorrect in referring to Dravidam as a race. The Pancha Dravidian region lies south of the Vindhya Hills, while the Pancha Aryan region lies north. People from the north are moving south, and people from the south are moving north.”

He also stated that it is incorrect to follow what the British referred to as the Dravidian race even after the British era. Continuing, he said, “The British government has made an artificial classification among the tribal people. The differences between the tribal people must be broken down.”

“The central government and the state government provide two types of reservation for the tribal people. As far as the state is concerned the reservation is given according to the census. Tamil Nadu has 8 lakh tribals out of a population of 8 crores. The state government provides 1% reservation for them. It is less, and it should be taken into account by the state government,” he added.

“Separate Tamil Country Should Be The Aim Of Tamil Nationalism,” VCK Lok Sabha MP Thiruma Instigates Separatism

Thirumavalavan, Chief of the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) who is also a Lok Sabha MP has fomented separatism by stating that a separate Tamil country should be the ultimate goal of Tamil nationalism ideology in Tamil Nadu.

The book release ceremony for ‘Thirumavin Sinthanai Kotpaadugal,’ written by J. Bharat, an Ambedkar Law College student, was held at the VCK head office in Chennai. Thirumavalavan participated in the event, released the book, and delivered a special address to the VCK cadres.

At the book launch event, many students from Ambedkar Law College joined the VCK party. In his speech, the VCK chief stated, “It has now become a situation that politics is for power, position and material gain. Very few are attracted because of political ideologies. Though they are less in number, they occupy the top post in all parties.”

“Dominance, oppression and exploitation are the enemies of the working people. These can take many forms, including caste, capitalism, feudalism, and family. “Adanga Maru, Aththu Meeru, Thiruppi Adi (do not succumb, violate the rules, hit back)” is not a slogan of violence. It is a slogan against violence. It is the slogan of all the oppressed in the world,” he added.

He concluded by saying, “VCK made a significant contribution to Tamil national movements. It has made possible what the major political parties could not. The ultimate goal of Tamil nationalism should be the establishment of a seperate country known as Tamil Nadu. Every state in India should develop nationalism through language, and the central government should serve as its union. Instead of a union of states, it should be a union of nationalities.”

The Hindu Munnani has called for arresting the Lok Sabha MP for his seditious remarks.

DMK Town Panchayat President Removes BJP And VHP Flagpole In Coimbatore, Attacks Police

The video of the DMK Town Panchayat President assaulting a police officer who was recording their atrocities of removing the BJP and VHP flagpoles went viral on social media.

Vishwa Prakash, the Town Panchayat President in Periyanayakanpalayam, is also the DMK Town Secretary in Coimbatore. On September 20, he and his gang demolished the BJP and Vishwa Hindu Parishad flagpoles in Kasturipalayam, which falls under the jurisdiction of Periyanayakanpalayam municipality. He threatened to kill those who tried to intervene and assaulted the police officer who was recording their atrocities.

The Periyanayakanpalayam police have charged Vishwa Prakash and his supporters with various offenses, including death threats to a police officer. However, fearing arrest by the Coimbatore police, Vishwa Prakash obtained anticipatory bail in the case.

The BJP has demanded that Town Panchayat President Vishwa Prakash be arrested immediately for attempting to attack police officers. Coimbatore North District BJP leader Sangeeta said, “DMK has set a wrong precedent by attacking a police officer on duty who is responsible for providing protection to the public. Vishwaprakash, the municipal president who tried to attack, should be arrested immediately. If not, we will consult with the state leadership and hold a protest soon.”
